I had this set for 8 years and with only two adults the while washer rotted out. Had to replace and I replaced with another set of LG. Big mistake sent them both back.

Did it agitate? So you wash another load bcause mayb u put to many clothes ( NOT), so this load is very small a quarter size th tub, so wen that blk & white Tshirt sits on top, again did it agitate? is it clean? HECK NO !!!!! Back to Best Buy it goes, ordered a different brand front load this time at least I'll be sure it agitates

3 Defective LG Washers from Best Buy

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, I started with the 7900 model and after that one was defective and discussing with LG reps, I decided to switch to the 7800 model. The first 7800 was delivered and failed the test so I had to wait 5 days to get another one delivered. This time it passed the initial test but during the first load, the same loud noise during the wash cycle happened. These were supposed to be top rated models but something quality issue is going on at LG. We'll see what Best Buy can do for me now.

Error messages not all of them are in the book. Tub goes out of balance very easily (even when all like items are being washed together ie...all towels ...all sheets). Clothes are not as clean as agitator models.

Even after the steam cycle in the dryer, the wrinkles were horrible! I would rather have had my mother's ancient washer than this one! I tried everything and it wrinkled everything almost permanently.

Scratches easily, washed clothes have lint on them

Also it seems to keep lint or something in it that perpetually coats our clothes even after we’ve put it through the self clean cycle. Never had this with any other washer.

The initial washer delivered and the replacement BOTH made a noise so LOUD that I'm sure my neighbors can here my washer running. I plan on returning it AGAIN, this time along with the dryer and moving on to another brand. The dryer was the only nice thing about this combo.

Sounded like a bunch of plates rattling around together. Oh! That's coming from our brand new washer. Best Buy's phone system is an absolute joke to get a hold of someone. So, currently trying to figure out how to get someone to come look at it! Got the matching dryer combo too and the door is supposed to open sideways and downward, well the downward only goes about 1/4 of the way down and stops and won't move any further. I'm really wondering about LG right now. Best Buy - well, their phone system is one of the worst I have ever dealt with.
