Installed yesterday and used it immediately. Pretty quiet when full but noisy when they first turned it on and it was empty (to test.)

This wasn't my first choice as I had wanted a front loader but found that what we wanted would not quite fit in the space we had, so I found this last minute. I am not sure if it is because we can see the water filling but there are times where the water fill level is questionable. There are times it seems to fill too little and others where it is too much. All the options do take a while to get used to though since it is not a basic washer. Overall it is a good washer.

I chose this machine as it was one of consumer reports highest rated washers. However after just 5 loads of wash the machine experienced a mechanical failure. While LG didn’t seem particularly concerned by this, Best Buy’s customer service was excellent. I’m hoping the initial failure was a fluke and the replacement has a long life ahead of it.

Cleans well. The auto-sensing of the level of water seems to work well and I believe it will save water in the long run. Seems gentle o the clothes.

I had my other washer for about 20 years and wanted one just like it. I didn't realize my clothes weren't really clean until I got this one!

The washer washes the clothes very well, however, I am not entirely clear how it does. The 5.5 is huge and I hardly have to fill it.

best washer i had paid 800 for a maytag 4 years ago it sucks this new LG is by far better quality and better cleaning very happy with my new LG

Well built washer with very large capacity. Lack of central agitator may be problem with large loads getting completely wet.

I love that I can do such big loads and there are so many options. It It's a little louder than I was expecting but it's not terrible.

We upgraded from our old lg that lasted more then 10ys. But so far so good we have had this machine for about 2 or 3 month and no problems.

So far, this washer is amazing! It has the capacity to wash one queen comforter and a full size comforter in the same load with room to spare! AMAZING!!!

Decided to upgrade and purchased the machine to take care of the large bedding items. Does a great job cleaning all items.

Works great! Huge tub perfect for bedding and towels. A bit loud but not a big deal for us. Love the graphite!
