This range is amazing. The burners, oven, and broiler heat evenly and quickly. Our old range had trouble keeping the proper temperature on the respective burners. It was so hard to keep something at a simmer instead of boiling. I have had zero problems with that so far with our new range. If I set the burner on low I no longer have to worry about it boiling, it actually heats my sauces without scorching them. The oven is a dream too. It's huge, 3 racks, so I can cook whatever I want AND I can cook the sides, or rolls, or both. Another awesome feature is that the oven doubles as an air fryer. Yes, you read that correctly, the oven is an air fryer - woot woot! A separate pan is needed for said air frying, but it beats the heckout of having to use those tiny (and not cheap) air fryers that can only fry 4oz of food at a time. Fresh crispy fries anyone?? The only downside with the oven is the storage drawer. LG made the storage drawer smaller in order to make the oven space so large. The space had to come from somewhere so I get it, but just be aware of that if you need the extra storage space. Oh and it connects to Wi-Fi, which might not sound like a big deal, but it will give you an alert on your phone when your range is in use. This could be especially useful for parents with younger kids, so you know if they're messing around with something they shouldn't. I'm sure there's a lot more function than that with the LG app, but I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet. I only know about the alert thing because my wife texted me when I turned the oven on. We love our new range, and we 100% recommend it to anyonelooking to replace their current one.

Great stove with the right amount of features. Easy to use and not overly complicated. While the black top gets dirty easily, it’s been a breeze to clean it up.

Did a lot of research for appliances. Overall, decided on this LG gas range. It was delivered with some damage, but unnoticable unless you’re really looking for it. Best Buy did make it right though and gave us a discount to keep. The installation to convert from NG to LP was seamless by the installer, who was profession and talked through the whole process while doing it. The stove is a huge upgrade over our 20 year old one. A lot more features as well. The only downside to this stove is the pull out draw. I am not sure what LG was thinking when they built it, but it is cheap and flimsey, not a deal breaker though. I would recommend this stove to anyone who asks.

We’ve been using this LG gas range for a couple of months and it's been a game changer for my kitchen. The griddle heats up fast, turning out perfectly cooked bacon and eggs in no time—just like that, breakfast is a snap. What I love the most is how quickly the oven reaches temperature, saving precious minutes when I’m roasting veggies or air frying chicken wings. The InstaView feature is also super cool; a quick knock lets me peek inside without opening the door, keeping all the heat where it should be. Clean-up? It’s a breeze with the EasyClean feature. A simple wipe down and it looks brand new again. It’s definitely made my daily cooking routine much more enjoyable!

Great oven at a great price. Got it on sale. Still only several months old. Looks great. Cooks great. Some nice features for a lower end range (less than $1000). Con's: The flames can go out and up the sides of the pans and make the pot handles hot!. The touch light (you simply touch the glass door) is a nice feature, but not dependable.

We decided to replace our black range with this black stainless steel range as we were switching colors. We did not want to wait 2 months for out first choice to be in stock, so we took a chance on this new model with no reviews as it was in stock at warehouse. We wanted a convection oven with 5 burner stove. The air fry feature looked like a great idea since we do use a counter top air fryer. After reading the manual and realizing that air frying will get the oven quite dirty, not sure we will use that feature. Wifi connection featured on this range is more of a selling gimmick than useful. You have to push button on oven to turn on wifi feature each time to use it, then open and log into the app on your phone. We have gas oven, so only oven feature can be used, (app will tell you if range is on or off). Press oven, then set temperature and cook time. Since the app uses wifi and bluetooth and you have to be in the house to use it, it just seems more of a gimmick than useful. The oven lights quickly, less than 1 minute, and reached 350 degrees about 10 minutes after starting it. I like the "insta view"feature, tap on the oven window to turn on light without having to reach across hot stove. The burner grates are nice and solid, easy to remove and clean, but as they are cast iron, mine were not perfectly flat. My 10 inch skillets and pots tend to rock front to back when stirring. I have not used the included griddle yet, but I like that it "locks " into place with cooking grates. Overall, I would give this range a 4.5 star rating out of 5, primarily because the wifi feature is not useful to me personally.

I'm absolutely in love with this stove

Through an odd series of events, I ended up with this stove. It was available and it's the one I ended up having to choose. I really lucked out. This is a great stove. I didn't think I'd use all of the features but I find myself playing with them and liking them more and more. I'll never use the wifi connection and I don't think it would work with my wifi anyway but the rest of the features are wonderful. So this review is from the perspective of someone that has never had anything other than a very basic stove. I love the grill on top. Its heavy and sturdy. Its cast iron. Some of the models we looked at had really light, flimsy feeling grills and I expected to toss this one out but, as it turns out, this is a great grill and I use it, albeit a little small. I got the black stainless steel, which matches my other appliances but every speck of dust, every little smudge, sure does show up on this stovetop. It really doesn't bother me that much and it actually helps me see any slops or spills so I find myself not missing little spots and keeping a cleaner stovetop. The specs from bar wipes or smudges from damp wipe downs aren't a real concern for me. The oven is shockingly blue. Its beautiful and has a high gloss finish. Like the stovetop, that's good and bad. It's a beauty but it drives you to want to keep that beautiful shine and, well, nothing stays perfect. It's easy to clean. There are two modes of cleaning for this. I used, I think it was the Air Fry, for the first time and was totally bummed when I discovered that BBQ wings leave splatter marks all over the window when the fan is blowing. Dehydrated BBQ sauce is the ultimate test in whether you can destroy an oven real fast. The glass had to be scraped and I wiped up the front with a soft cloth and then used the easy clean. When it cooled, I opened it and gave it another wipe down and it looked like new. So now I'm not as afraid of it. Just an FYI, the instruction say to use a plastic scraper for the pre clean prep, so I ended up buying plastic razors so I can gently remove the bulk of that accidental spill I'm going to make one day. The glass, of course, I can use a regular razor scraper to clean. The center burner isn't real powerful. Boiling salt water to make bagels or french bread takes quite a while. I have to start it up early in the bread making process to get a full boil by the time I dump in my dough and, even then, the dough cools it down enough to interrupt with the full boil. It recommended the convection setting for bread but that just doesn't put a crust on the bread so I went with bake and then air fried it for a few minutes. I had to rotate the bread to get the crust flakey all the way around but it worked. I'm learning new tricks as I play with it. The convection worked great for soft sandwich bread though. The power burner on the front is much more powerful than the middle burner. I can actually start boiling water as soon as I start cutting pasta and my big pot has to be turned down before I'm ready to throw the pasta in the pot. It's also great for when you need to saute but it's a little too powerful for melting sugar for making fruit syrups. But the other front burner is perfect for that. Then there's a simmer burner on the back and the other back burner, well, I call it my sauce burner because it seems to be the most rational of the burners and it doesn't scorch my sauces. I'm still learning how to get crisp in the oven, and what cooks best on which burners but no one is underweight so I don't think it's anything we can't handle. I still go back to my little air fryer for some things because I haven't figured out where to position it in the oven for better results. My phyllo was kind of pasty white even though I air fried it but that might be where I'm putting it relative to the fan in the back. If you haven't used an oven like this, there is a learning curve but, overall, the food is coming out promising and I'm sure that after owning this for a few months, my results will be back where I want them. It's just a learning curve. This is a great oven and I'm looking forward to mastering all of its capabilities. I love the look, the heft, the big knobs that are tilted so you can easily see exactly where you set them so next time you get the same temperature. I love the easy readout in the back and I even like the way it plays little songs instead of beeping at me. The little convenience of knocking on the window to turn on the light is kind of fun but the window does fog up, so that window doesn't always give you a great view. But, so far, this is the best appliance I didn't intend to buy that I have ever purchased. It sticks out a little more than my old stove but, if you have the room, I'd say this stove is definitely a great find.

    Overall, A Very Good Range

I have owned this range for a little over a year now and it has been great, with one exception…the center cooking grate is slightly higher than the 2 outer cooking grates. Cooktop: • Burner performance is very good; a lot of options for high heat and slow simmer applications. • Easy to start and large, hefty knobs make it quick and easy to adjust as you are cooking. • Cleaning is relatively easy, with respect to a gas stove; cooking grates are easy to remove and put back in place. • The only glaring issue is the unevenness of the center cooking grate (slightly higher) compared to the 2 outer cooking grates. o This makes it a challenge to move pots around the cooking surface easily; you have to slightly lift part of the pot or pan…it is not truly a continuous surface. o Large/heavy stock pots, filled with liquid, are a challenge to move or adjust on the burner, if not placed exactly in the spot you want them. o Also, when you have a fry pan bridging the center and outer cooking grate, any oil will tend to pool a bit to the opposite side of the pan. o At first this was a minor inconvenience, but after a year it has become a glaring issue for me. Oven: • The oven performance is very good; heat distribution is pretty even and temps seem to be accurate with respect to the corresponding settings. • Convection performance is excellent and the air fryer setting works well. • There are a lot of rack locations, so you have a lot of options for cooking multiple items at once. • Cleaning pretty easy, but I have not tried the self-cleaning option yet. Overall, I have really enjoyed this range, but wish there was a fix of the uneven cooking grates.

In terms of cooking capabilities? I LOVE this stove. It works exactly as expected. Love the different burner settings, although I personally would prefer that the power burner be on the left, and the more "everyday" setting be on the right. That's just me. Oven heats up FAST, which I appreciate. Instaview works flawlessly and is a nice touch. The Alexa integration is useless. If you have to be standing in front of the stove to hit a button to access it? What in the holy heck is the point???? Absolutely useless, and it's a feature I was really excited about. Same for the air fryer function. No one sells the needed pan, apparently. At least not that I can find. Sounds like it would be a mess in the oven anyway. Stovetop? It is IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean without damage. I already have bubbling on the black stovetop surface. And so many scratches on the stainless front panel as well. Finger-printless surfaces? Where? Everywhere I TOUCH there is a print left behind. The grates are impossible to clean, as are the burner "inserts" I guess you would call them? The black circles that sit on top of the burners. Had a pot of pasta boil over, and now apparently my 2 month old stove has stains I cannot get rid of on those inserts. Permanently burnt on and resistant to any level of cleaning I have tried. Functionally it great. Esthetically? It sucks. I guess I would still recommend, especially if you are not a clean freak.

We love this modern gas range! The design and work ability was a nice and welcomed surprise! It is beautiful to look at in our kitchen. It helps to make cooking fun and rewarding! We added the 5-year extended warranty. I have found over the years when you use your oven from morning to night when cooking for a family of 7 this comes in handy. I recommend the extended warranty for peace of mind. Also, we appled for the Best Buy credit card and we got a special first purchase 10% award. We were able to get a printer.

Need Three Racks ... Not InstaView

Ordered this stove because it had three racks instead of two. It also has the knock twice InstaView feature on the oven door which just seems like a gimmick to me and not very useful. As a result, this stove was $200 more than the lower priced model with 2 racks. It also features an air fry function which we are not able to use yet because the add-on accessory air fry rack is out stock. The lower drawer seems rather flimsy and serves as a reminder that appliances are not built as well as they used to be. Other than that, this stove seems to perform quite well. The oven is very large compared to most others in its class.

Just installed this stove. It looks great. However there are 2 things that are highly disappointing. First the drawer in the bottom does not slide well at all. It’s very cheaply made. I wish I would have realized this before I bought it. I may have not bought it. Second I thought it came with the air fry basket. Disappointed that it has that feature but no basket comes with it. Also it does smudge a lot.

When I first got my stove I loved it. It's nice having a large oven area, it looks good, cleans easily, and was truly enjoyable to use. Then the issues began. Eighteen months into ownership and the igniter went on both the oven and the broiler. Had it repaired and eight months later they both went out again. Now LG is telling me that they cannot do anything and they are deeply sorry. After the amount of money I spent on the stove and then the $600 additional repair, I am wondering if I am going have to spend the $600 every 8 or 9 months. I am thoroughly unhappy with Best Buy and LG for not standing behind their products.
