It's been a while since we've purchased/upgraded our TV. The jump to a 4K Ultra HD Smart TV was incredible! I can't compare this to other similar TVs, but I can say that I am very impressed with this particular brand & model's ease of use, quality, and features. And the price was very affordable. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my parents for Christmas and it turned out to be a great tv. It was very easy to set up and the picture is really good. I know there are better tv's out there but for the money this was a great buy. I would highly reccomend it. I hooked up a Samsung sound bar that I bought with it and they work great together.

I originally bought this tv Nov. 10. After 4 days, the first set automatically powered every 5 minutes or so. I returned it with no problems. The second set worked well for 3 weeks, then began acting up when powering on. The LG welcome screen would come on, turn gray, black, then repeated the cycle nonstop. I took that set back, and now I'm on lucky number 3. So far, so good. I love the features of this set, and the price was amazing. If this on turns out to be dud, I'll replace it with a different brand. I've had my other LG set for 6 years with no issues, so I expected more for this tv.

The picture on this thing is great. This is my first 4k tv and i can tell a difference. The colors look amazing in it. I mainly is it for gaming and it makes for a good experience. The remote is my only gripe as it sometimes feels love if it's not literally pointed straightway the sensor then it won't work.

This TV is the best TV I have ever purchased. The picture is crystal clear and the sound is also very good but I would recommend getting a sound bar to get excellent sound quality. It was very easy to set up and use. It has 3 HDMI jacks and all the other hookups needed for a blue ray player and any other equipment. Also, it was simple to hook up to my router. I just can't get over the fantastic picture. It is so clear it is just short of 3D. My wife was not real keen on getting it at first but when I set it up, she was taking a nap. When she woke up and came into the living room, she just stood there and stared, transfixed at the picture for about 5 minutes. This was an early Christmas present for us, as I bought it from a pre-Black Friday sale and my wife said this was one of the best Christmas presents we have ever bought (and we have been married for 37 years). I would highly recommend this TV to anyone.

I spent a lot of time researching 4K TV's since I was gifting one this holiday season. I was particularly torn between this model and the Samsung 50", which retails for about $100 more than this LG model (with no different specs other than a second USB port) and had even purchased both before making my final selection. To avoid the hassle of this, I would recommend going online and watching videos about the Smart TV platforms, since most of your time will be navigating through apps, channels, and functions. I preferred LG's WebOS over Samsung's Tizan OS Smart Hub because it was more user friendly and fluid, and meshed with my style aesthetically. To me, it was the difference between Pandora and Spotify. They both serve similar purposes, but styleistically and operationally, are unique. We love this TV and are happy with our first 4K purchase. Thanks to Beat Buy for great deals always.

We are very pleased with our purchase! The picture was excellent right out of the box and the set-up was easy. The various features are easy to use, as well. It is easily the best TV we've ever owned. We couldn't be happier!

Picture on this tv is so crisp and so clear it wants to suck you in and dont let you leave your seat. Im not big on tv's but buying this tv i just want to watch whatever is on because of the amazing picture. The design and thin frame look on this unit look very stylish and sleek. Sound is also good on this tv. Setup is super easy and it takes like 3-5 minutes. it has many apps but i have not explored smart part of this tv yet . its got full web browser and once you connect wireless(usb) mouse to it surfing and browsing internet appears to be very easy . I really cant see how much or what more can you get buy paying 500 , thousand or more for those more expensive units. Again , i dont know if its because its 4k tv but picture on this tv is simply amazing !!

I love this tv-would suggest it to anyone looking for a 50 inch 4k tv--easy to navigate through all the features, great, sharp picture with wonderful color. Could not be happier with this tv and it was a great price!

I am very happy so far with this tv. It was purchased during the Black Friday sale do the price was excellent. It was easy to set up by myself at home. And I like the quality of the picture. This was a very good buy!

it was delivered when it was scheduled and got here in one piece the picture is great and the price was right and the remote was easy and the set up was easy for a 4k this is a great tv and colors are great

I caught this on sale for $399, and for that price it's a great value. Despite its size it's pretty lightweight and easy to handle. Picture is very good. You get just a very little bit of lag on fast motion with the 60hz refresh rate, but really not a big deal. Sound quality isn't great, but not horrible either. Would benefit from a sound bar or other speaker system. One small annoyance is the regular requests to update software, which seem to happen every week or so. The smart TV functions work well, though I've only used YouTube and the web browser. Unfortunately, a couple weeks after I purchased it displayed a message saying that Pandora was no longer supported. But again, overall, it's a very good TV for the price it was offered at.

This TV was the perfect fit. Incredibly crisp 4K picture, easy to set up, good remote, wifi, all the right apps. And all at a great price. Starts up and closes quick, and everything is laid out well.

The tv was easy to set up, the picture quality is great, and features are excellent. I, however would like to see this tv have a better stand quality wise and aesthetic wise.(maybe with an option to angle)

Normally $650. Got it for $400. It's 60hz so months best but not bad. I like how you can surf apps ti want on the bottom of the screen while keeping whatever you are watching on the screen. I also habe a Sony tv and when you pull up the apps, takes up full screen. On this tv, I can use my s7 to mirror to the tv. Love it. Sony tv can't do that either. This tv is a good buy, but beware just bc it's 4k doesn't mean you are getting the best picture. It's 60hz so during action scenes you can tell the tv is lower quality. This is in our bedroom so wasn't a deal killer considering the low price. We bought the low end of sound bar to hook up to it and they work great together.

This tv is fantastic. Very easy set up to wireless internet. Picture is terrific. Easy set up with paired LG sound bar. No blur with fast moving images and colors and hue are great.

Fantastic picture and easy to set up. 4K is awesome. Cartoons come alive with color and clarity. A little cumbersome switching from TV to game system to Blue Ray but not a big deal.

But it's missing important feature (Well for me personally). 1) It doesn't have TruMotion 120. I really do enjoy watching tv and movies without motion blur. If you can live with, watching anything with motion blur then this won't be a problem for you. Other than that, this TV is awesome. I had my Xbox One S and PS4 hooked up to it and the games looked amazing, as well as the movies and TV shows. This is really a great 4K TV. Unfortunately due to the tv not having TruMotion 120 was a deal breaker for me. I exchanged it for another LG 4K Ultra HD TV that has TruMotion 120.

50" LG 4K, Can't beat the price for the quality and size. Great with games, movies, streaming and sports, smart options are easy to work and understand.

I bought this LG t.v. approximately two months ago and have been very happy with this product. This t.v. offers 4K Ultra HD quality at a very affordable price. I selected a certified open box t.v. from Bestbuy to save even more money and the television came packaged as new. This t.v. is quick and easy to setup and has a great picture. While the sound on flat screen t.v.'s has been disappointing in past years, this t.v. provides good quality sound without having to add on a soundbar. I would recommend this television to family and friends.
