I bought this because I have 2 LG stereo systems and I like them both very much. The TV is incredible. The 4k picture is very lifelike. The settings for the TV are much better than the Samsung model I had before purchasing this. Overall, I found this to be better than the Samsung and for a lt less money.

Without a doubt, this TV has an incredible picture and unbelievable value for the price. The smart features are easy to toggle. The picture and sound specifications are very easy. The gamer picture settings seemed the most realistic for my taste even though I am not a gamer. Overall can't go wrong.

I'm using this connected to my computer to replace all my monitors with a single, huge 4K display. It's amazing to see Windows at such high resolution. Dividing the screen into 4 areas, each quadrant represents a full 1920x1080 HD screen. The screen is bright and easy to read. I have the resolution in Windows set at native 4k, at 100%. It's very large for a desktop monitor...almost too large. I mounted it to the wall behind my desk and it is usable. Windows doesn't do a great job of dividing the quadrants, though. Maximizing a window will take 100% of the screen. Be sure to learn the Windows shortcut keys for windows management. You might also consider a window management program like AquaSnap. I do notice that viewing content that isn't 4k (like a DVD in Windows) doesn't look all that great. Windows is stretching and making up the pixels to fill the screen. I think the TV has a native screen scaling that might be better, but it doesn't seem to be enabled when using as a monitor at full-resolution.

Our former living room TV gave out last summer. It was a Samsung and honestly as much as I loved it I was disappointed it had only lasted about 5 years. Instead of running out right away and getting another one I just moved a spare 32" one there. It was ok but too small as I was used to a 42". We talked about getting a larger one and like Best Buy heard us my husband got an email the weekend of the semi final playoff games before the Superbowl. We decided to take a chance on this LG tv and would go a little larger than our former one. SO glad we did! Ordered online, picked up in store with no problems. Set up pretty easily. Hooked up our Phillips soundbar to it with an optical cable and it works great. Picture is beautiful! One complaint we have and can't figure out is that 50% of the time we use our Directv remote to turn the tv off it doesn't turn it off and I have to use the LG one. I don't know why. It's a bit annoying but we got such a great deal on this beautiful set that I can deal with it.

Bought this on the Black Friday deal and feel I got a great bargain. Setup was easy and I like the interface. Plenty of smart channels, streaming wireless and using an antennae for over the air channels and the picture quality is great. Didn't need a Roku or similar box to enjoy a pretty good selection of channels. Lower than HD signals are pixelly, and upscaling seems to muddle sub HD rather than help, but I hardly ever watch anything that is not at least HD. Viewing video games and Blue Ray movies are amazing with no lag and rich sharp colors. There was one issue though. I set the option for Fast Start which uses more power and supposedly turns the TV on faster. I couldn't get it to turn on half the time. Really frustrating until I turned that setting off and it is just fine. I have a newer house with good power installation so don't know why that would happen. I was considering taking it back but after changing that setting I enjoy it way too much, I would give it a 5 star if not for that one issue that is now a non-issue.

I replaced a 42 inch Plasma with this one that I had bought for more than double the price. I was skeptical about the quality when I purchased it for the sale price but it has exceeded all my expectations! Picture is clear, colors are bright and now I enjoy watching TV in my bedroom again.

THE PICTURE IS BETTER THAN NEEDED FOR CABLE DISPLAY, AND TV HAS MORE RESOLUTION AND FEATURES THAN I WILL BE LIKELY TO USE, AND THE PRICE WAS FANTASTIC. SO FAR NO ISSUES AT ALL, EXCEPTION BEING THE REMOTE OPERATION IS CLUNKY AT BEST. ONCE SETUP IS DONE, THE CABLE REMOTE IS ALL I USE ANYWAY

I'm a researcher... So when I set out for my next TV I researched for two whole days and I was originally set on a Sony... My last flat screen was a Sony Plasma, which both lasted 10+ years and finally I was upgrading technology... I read up on the LG, as well as many many others.... I decided to demo at Best Buy and it was a no brainer... LG is known for their quality and is in the list of the best of the best among it's competition ... Practically, for the money you can't beat the quality Video... Great 4K and it's also HDR... A sound system will add to the Entertainment Experience, but remember it's a TV not a stereo... Regardless, adding sound or not, (and I ended up getting 2 @ $500 each) you won't get much better quality, if at all, for the price point....

After much research and reviews my husband and I decided on this 4K TV. We had a little trouble initially getting it- store said it was in stock online however when we got there it wasn't really. Best Buy system shows special ordered ones and ones in route as being "in stock" at the store. We were able to change our order from pickup in the store to home delivery without too much hassle. TV was easy to unpack and set up. Picture is crisp and clear, smart TV functions are easy to use. I like that it's on the remote, you don't have to rely on using an app on your phone or anything. It is easy to switch from smart TV to our game system which is helpful. All in all I highly recommend- it's a good size and heck of a price for what you get.

Bought this TV during the pre-superbowl sales event. Paid less than $400 it. It isn't the absolute latest and greatest technology but it is WAY better than our previous TV that was 10 years old. Great picture, easy to find and operate menus. Would definetly recommend.

Went to get an HDTV but left with this 4K tv instead. It was Super Bowl week so I was able to get this quality brand and size for price expected to pay for HDTV. Couldn't believe it! The picture is beautiful and the tv is easy to use. Would recommend to others easily.

This was the first smart TV I've purchased and I'm amazed at all the things it does. The picture is excellent and the sound quite good, even without a sound bar or other auxiliary speakers. Setup was remarkably simple and quick...just follow the onscreen setup guide.

I picked this up on a Black Friday sale for 400 "couldn't pass it up" to replace a 46" 1080 toshiba that was going out. Noticed a large clarity difference immediately and the user setup was relatively painless. I don't regret buying it and would do so again.

It's an awesome product full expectations met. Beautiful image with much more controls than expected. Addable apps and chromecast built right in, you can dive right in from your computers, phones and anything else that streams. So much more to say. Definitely an underrated product. LG has risen to the top for a while now, one just needs to know about it. Buy this exact TV, can't go wrong for sure. Super happy with it, will look into more LG products in the future, have about 6 products in the house now and all aim to please. Thank you all of you thrill seekers out there.

I was shopping around for quite awhile for a 50-55" 4K TV that was the best value for performance, and this LG TV fit the bill very nicely. The TV has very rich colors and nice contrast to it, thanks to the HDR feature, and the picture is very sharp. The WebOS is very responsive and easy to navigate. I have been a long time Samsung user and did not have a single regret giving LG a try. Both TVs from what I've found operate the same way as far as the Smart TV functions go. The only downside that I have found with the LG is with its Google casting feature. I cannot get any of my devices to recognize the TV if, for instance, I want to cast a YouTube video to the TV from my phone or tablet. Everything else about the TV is great however, so I will just take this as a minor drawback. I have no problems recommending this TV to anyone who is looking for a great 4K Smart TV.

I saw this tv in another store but they wanted a couple hundreds more so when I saw the advertising of this tv on bestbuy for a great price I rushed in to buy it. Very satisfied with the purchase its a great quality tv and the price was great as well.

This was a great deal for 4k Ultra TV. It is simple to set up, has awesome quality picture and sound. The only issue, I see sometime, during browsing web , it might not response and application may crash. Other that that, it is running perfectly okay.

Starting off, I was happy as can be with this tv. Then the problem started after I passed that one year mark, I was switching my ps4 over from a gaming monitor to the big screen to get some 4k action when all of a sudden I tried to power the tv on and it wasn't cutting on. Me I didnt realize something was wrong with the tv, I started messing with my ps4 expecting that to be the issue. So, I connected it to the gaming monitor and it was working. I shook it off as the ps4 was probably not connected well to the hdmi. Well about a week has passed as I'm not using the television and I've tried it today, then I noticed the three blinking lights at the bottom. People are stating that the connectors or something is more than likely bad.. If they're bad in a year and a half I need to invest in another company. I'll see what they do or offer, but if it's running me 200 or something crazy I'll purchase another company's product and won't look back. Shame, I was growing on LG as this was the first one after 2 or 3 Samsung purchases. I'll update it depending on the outcome.

I wanted a decent TV for a decent price. I ended up with an EXCEPTIONAL TV at a VERY good price! Best Buy sent me a birthday coupon and that's what enticed me to buy, but I could not be happier. This replaced a Samsung and it is worlds better.

Bought FOUR of these and mounted in a 2x2 grid for computer monitors. They work great and also use them with their included features sets to watch HDHomerun Prime (digital network TV tuners) and PLEX. Excellent purchase and highly recommend.
