The 4K tv is definitely an upgrade from the 1080. Beautiful color depth. Perfect size for sports. Wish it was 120hz. It's only 60hz with upscalling which is not the same. But still beautiful picture.

Very happy with this TV still a year and a half or more later. Great picture, smart features are nice to have (was able to get rid of fire stick) and the 4k HDR is great for gaming.

The picture is excellent, the wifi is as well. The only issues I have with this tv is the "Smart" option. LG does not have as many apps as I would like which limits the content you can load on it. The web browser works fine with a little time consumption typing anything but it works as it should. The tv does not have Flash loaded on it so not only does it not have enough apps it does not allow you to watch the same content from a webpage directly on it's browser. Sure you can add a Roku or Firestick or connect another device so there are workarounds, I would just like to be able to do it all directly on the "Smart" tv. Got a great price on it and the picture is excellent so we will be keeping it.

Got this for the only $400. I don't know why it was that cheap in March, but I'm not complaining. 4K is simply amazing. The picture on this either playing games or watching Netflix is terrific.

I was amazed at how easy the setup was. Last 4K TV I bought I had to call support. THIS one I was able to figure out what to do. I had it up in about an hour. Picture and sound are very good.

Quality is incredible and the tv itself was really affordable. Lots of prebuilt in apps, that I almost didn’t even need to use my Roku. Netflix, Hulu, Plex, etc.

As our 1st 4K tv we were skeptical about the advantages. That lasted until about one minute after we finished setting up the tv. Awesome picture and simple setup highly recommend this tv.

Great TV, easy set up, basically plug and play. Only negative is the remote is a challenge when you need to type . Loved that I could buy on line and have an easy pick up at the store.

I got this during Best Buy's Black Friday (2016) deals, and I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of the TV. This is my first 4K TV, and I've been extremely happy with the picture quality. Games look great and movies, even DVDs of movies from the 80s and 90s, look better than on my last TV. I can't attest at all to the sound quality of the speakers, because I have it hooked up to an external stereo system, but to that extent the sound quality is being transferred clearly to the external device. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The quality exceeds my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to upgrade your TV.

I bought this for my bedroom. It is a great TV for this price range. The picture is excellent quality. I haven't felt a need to adjust the factory settings yet. It was easy to set up. The speakers are OK, but most people would get surround sound or a sound bar. My only complaint is that there is no way to hook up a bluetooth keyboard, which makes searching for titles on streaming services easier (not to mention entering my WiFi password).

This TV is everything I really needed. I have it hooked up to my Xbox One S and the picture quality is great. Make some minor adjustments in the settings to optimize it for displaying video games and you're good to go. It doesn't buzz like some of my previous TV's, which is also nice. If you can't mount big things on walls because of your lease like me, the included stand is pretty sturdy, so don't fret about that. My only complaint is that in smaller rooms without a ton of ventilation, the TV will noticably increase the temperature of the room with prolonged use of about 4 hours or more. Above all, it's just a great TV.

Caught this in sale for 399...what can u say 50 inch 4k lg for 399..not too of the line or all the bells and whistle..but picture and sound is excellent..4k movies look 3d love it!!

Great TV for $400.00 very easy set up and looks great. Only reason for the 1 star reduction is the remote, takes forever trying to set up or search anything that requires text input.

I love my 4K Ultra, great picture, image is awesome and at a fabulous price!!!!! Can beat that!!!

While this is my first 4K TV, I spent quite a bit of time reviewing differences from LG, Sony and Samsung models. Picture for price, this is the best. I plan on buying a second.

Color accurate, fantastic picture when fed the right content (4k) The smart features are quick and responsive and the added internet channels are a nice extra. Easy to set up.

My sons tv blew up so I needed to replace it. My first pick was a Sony and it had issue, so I returned it. The sales guy said the Samsung was the bomb so I got that and it was junk. So I called my kid and he swore by LG so I got this one and am very happy I did!! I had no issues installing it. The other 2 tvs had poor design and their stands made the tv wobble. LG is very secure! Installing was in minutes with no quirky menus or weird remote control issues. Am VERY happy with this. The only issue I have is it likes to update itself. I have to figure out how to disable that so I can do it manually like once a month.

ordered tv on line pick up at store went well .unpack it set up it was very easy and start watching tv picture we excellent . And I recommend this LG 4ktv to be a good buy.

So I was in-store returning a Vizio 48" 4K model (refurb). It was a complete lemon and I do NOT recommend that particular model. As I was returning I saw a box sitting next to the counter and the cashier said "well we have this and it just went on sale for the SuperBowl." It was this 50" 4K LG, and for only $349!!! I said "what's the catch?!?!!" The kid said "no catch I promise, it's just on sale." Like I said it's a great display and fully customizable settings...which were nonexistent on the Vizio. I can watch Netflix, YouTube, etc and the picture is just a dream to look at. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent picture and tv steaming from amazon video and Netflix too with more to choose from. The sound is great to and price along with customer service was excellent
