I needed a small upgrade (from 40" ) and this was at the perfect price (on sale for $399) . At that price it is a fantastic buy. Great picture for a darker room. Some minor setup difficulties with sound system but eventually got it. Some setup options/interface could use improvements but if you just got with the default it should be fine. Motion was supposed to be good on this tv but I found that it seems better with all of the extras interpolation turned off. With all the motion interpolation turned off, Football and Hockey look great !

On sale, this TV was a fantastic value! Nice picture and easy set up. Even though the Sony had a sharper picture, this set was 1/3 the price.

Great TV for the price. Good picture quality and color. Remote control does not illuminate which is annoying when watching in dimly lit areas.

Tv has a great picture and easy to set up. Only downfall is remote is very basic and it doesn't automatically find the input with a signal.

I bought this TV for my bedroom.. I love the picture.. I love the vibrant colors.. I am very happy with this TV.. it was worth the purchase!

So far I found this TV to be easy to use and setup, great picture quality and works great with an LG soundbar and wireless subwoofer.

This TV has good pictures and features for the price point. Have not been able to test 4K since not much content. is relatively light for screen size and attractive. It has some flaws. 1)No analog audio out. For seniors, I use analog jack for wireless headphones. There is optical out (which can be converted to analog) and HDMI, but both cut off TV speakers, although supposededly can be set for both on. (2) Not compatible with magic remote (3) Only 3 HDMI jacks (4) Screw on jack for cable or antenna is difficult to access

This is a good mid level 4K tv. There is a bit of motion blur at times but it is not enough to keep this tv from being considered good.

Good mid-range TV, especially for the price. Bought for the bedroom so would have been fine with an average picture but this more than does the job. Picture is very good for the price. We have a higher-end 65" Sony XBR in the family room and the picture is better on that one (obviously) but considering this LG was 1/4 of the price I have no complaints. Rating 5 stars because of what you get at the price point. As with most flat screen TVs the sound is sub-par so plan on adding surround sound or a sound bar.

Picture and sound are great. The smart functions are easy to use. Can plug and play with mouse and keyboard.

Great picture. Easy to setup, very minor adjustments. Iphone/Android connectivity...very cool. Forgot to mention a great value.

This TV is probably the best tv at this price, it is the best for anything at all and I would definitely buy it for another room

I wish I would have done more research before buying this tv. As I'm sure a lot of these reviews may say, this TV doesn't truly support HDR. It will only support receiving the HDR signal, but not actually display in HDR as the panel isn't capable of it. Had I known this I would not have purchased it. You could say for the price, I should have known better. But the box literally says it supports HDR content, which it does in its own misleading way. Apart from that. That's is basically the only negative thing I have to say about the TV. Pretty much everything I play on it looks great. I turn off all of the post processing enhancements because I game a lot on it. It would probably look even better if I wasn't so lazy to turn some of them on when I'm not gaming (I leave it on gaming mode 24/7) The placebo effect was amazing the first time I put some HDR content on (I thought it was really displaying it properly). I think that says a lot for the quality. I would have rated it higher if not for the faux-HDR thing. All in all, this is a pretty good TV. Just don't buy it expecting a true HDR experience.

Amazing 4k TV. No problems so far, nothing but praise from me surrounding this tv. Love the clear, vibrant images.

After suffering through the past 6 years of college and post graduation with a 32" 720p Emerson TV, I figured it was time to upgrade to something better. I couldn't have made a better choice when I found this 50" LG 4K TV on sale. The picture is AWESOME. The sound is AWESOME. I have zero regrets on purchasing this TV two months ago.
