The tv is great and is of good quality. Picture is sharp but the Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting and is irritating. Would not buy an LG TV again.

I bought this tv for my business. After 9 months the WiFi stopped connecting. It says searching but never finds a connection. I used this television with the sole purpose of the WiFi capability. This television is now worthless to me. I emailed and called the warranty department back in October after I just couldn’t get the WiFi to connect. I did all of the troubleshooting that was suggested. I was left on hold for over 30 minutes Before hanging up and theIr email response was that they were unable to reach me in response to my emails. That was not truthful at all. This tv is trash. Next step is to try geek squad. If that doesn’t work unfortunately I will have to invest in another television for my business. Disappointed with absolutely no resolve.

    Loose Screen Panel

The screen panel is loose and not firmly attached or not glued to tv plastic frame. If you put a light pressure on the screen panel you can push down or wiggle the screen and even hear the wiggling noise. I may return this or as I’m afraid to encounter an issue in the future.

Warning! Open and inspect your package immediately. I received this tv with a broken screen. It appears that this was a previously returned item that was resold to me as new. Since i did not open the box until after the 15 day return period, I may not be able to resolve this issue.

Open your tv boxes immediately! Just opened the shipping and TV box after sitting in my guest room waiting to installed and when i opened it, the screen was cracked, the frame was loose, and the box looked like it had been repackaged though i purchased new. Seriously disappointed with Best Buy and LG as this seems like a poorly made item.

Purchased TV in box from floor. Box. Was visibly damaged. I shipped to another location. After removing from box discovered TV was broken at exact location of break in box. Unable to return because it was shipped. Was told by manager nothing could be done and I would have to buy another.

I bought this TV to replace an older, smaller 1080P model. I've only been using it for about 3 weeks, but so far I'm very happy with the picture. The image is sharp, the colors vibrant (as others have stated, you have to turn off the Power Saving option - "on" being the default). The remote control is a bit small, but it performs all the tasks you would expect of a remote control. There are also buttons to conveniently go directly to NetFlix, or Amazon Prime. Setup was also a simple procedure. It is menu-driven, and if you just follow a few simple steps, you should be going in no time. I would estimate from opening the box to watching television took no more than 30 minutes, perhaps a bit less. If you are planning on placing this TV on a stand, beware. The 50" model measures almost 45" across, and the feet are 40" apart. So, if you are planning on placing it on a stand, it will need to be at least that wide. My only other complaint was the lack of a Head-phone, or RCA audio out. I often listen using wireless headphones, and this lack of output was troubling. This TV IS equipped with a Digital Optical Audio Output, so I was able to purchase an adapter, but it would have been nice to have an output that didn't require me to purchase a separate component. All in all, this appears to be a great TV! Great picture, and simple setup. As long as you plan on wall-mounting it, and don't plan on using an external audio system (unless it's digital optical audio), you should be quite pleased.

The tv arrived with cracks all over the edges of the screen. Had to lug it in to a Best Buy store and settle for a different tv because it was unavailable. Completely defeated the purpose of ordering online and just added a lot of inconvenience.

The price was what made me look into this tv. Once I saw the features ( smart tv, 4K ) under $350! I was sold. Be warned, there is only one HDMI port, one digital audio port and one antena in. I was some what disappointed about that. It’s a pretty basic tv for someone that wants to watch streamed tv. Connects to phone via an app but the features are very limited. (Pictures only) App Store, great picture and very smooth. Overall a great tv for the bedroom, avoid if you plan to connect many devices such as Bluetooth speakers, multiple video game consoles and pc all in one place.

LG is the way to go

I should probably start by saying that LG is my favorite due to the cost of the television in relation to what you get out of it. LG has they best OLEDs screens (Samsung's QLED is a close second but doesn't quite match the OLED screens, plus Samsung typically runs just a tid bit pricier), and size relative to what you pay. Sony has some excellent screens but once you start getting into the 50+ inch screens the cost balloons past what I'm willing to pay for a television. Basically, if you want a higher tier television, but cannot afford or are not willing to shell out more than than necessary, go with the LG brand.

Purchased for a 2nd room. Have an LG OLED C8 65 in the main room. So far so good on this one. Off angle viewing the picture becomes less sharp, more washed looking, but not too bad, so really need to be pretty much in front of it. Watching sports, a ball ie... football, golf ball, flutters as it moves across the screen. Same issue on the OLED C8, no matter if it's video or live tv, very strange, yet to figure that one out. LG Web OS is great, a definite selling point, I think the processor is better on the OLED but of course it cost a lot more. This one is pretty darn good. I use an antenna and having the menu and ability to set a program reminder is awesome. The internet channels are a cool addition. Plus YouTube, etc... You really can't complain these days, especially for the money. This tv replaces a 10 year old 42 inch Sharp Aquos that really is not replaceable, great picture, zero issues. Built 'em good back in the day. I would recommend LG, they put a lot of thought into the user experience, I like LG. ...Side note; I still have a 19 inch with knobs, no remote, still works, in the garage now, use a digital/analog converter on it....Goldstar... remember them, Goldstar became LG. So they've been at it a long time.

When I first bought this tv reviews about the picture quality were not positive. Seeing I’ve already bought the tv when it was on sale I was a little worried it, but when I set everything up with the best set up I can afford I was blown away. I watched bird box with the wife and jokingly she said that it looked like an after school special lol. It’s beautiful. So smooth and very detailed. I would say that it’s more of a MED level TV. It really does it’s job. The only thing about it that bothers me is the screen. The corner areas are a little bent in. When ever I clean the screen I can feel it sink in a little, but nothing crazy. I did call and ask about it and i was told that it’s normal those types of tv with LED displays, but for the price I’m not gonna complain to much. I ran a test on the tv and there’s no artifacts of any kind. Everything looks amazing. I believe consumers complain about the picture quality because maybe they don’t have the proper set up for it. I watch everything on my PS4 PRO and managed to purchase new rocketfish 4K HDMI cables, insignia Ethernet cable and rocketfish coaxial cables and it works perfect. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and can’t wait for he next best thing from LG.

This is a great tv for the price. My husband wanted it to watch ball games. The picture looks sharp and clear. Bright colors. Easy to hook up. He wanted PIP, but we found out this feature isn't offered very much anymore. There is a feature that allows you to watch a simulation of PIP, but it is preselected channels. (Not sure what good that is.) Overall, a great tv.

I’ve been deal watching for about six months (including Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales) and I couldn’t find anything that was a reasonable cost AND had great reviews in the size we needed. I know it’s difficult to achieve savings and still get a quality product but with some patience and savvy I found this gem! I’ve never had an LG tv before but I bought it during a BB sale on several LG tv models - this was the right size for a great price (the next smaller one was actually more $$$). It starts up quick, nice sound quality, all the “smart” features work great, Netflix and Amazon have a dedicated button on the remote and if you turn off the tv using a feature it’ll be on the same app/feature when you turn it back on. AND you can even use screen-mirroring with your laptop/pc. Absolutely no complaints.

This purchase was to replace a +4yr old RCA that the display failed on. The RCA was not a Smart TV so this was an upgrade in that sense. The size was comparable. I love the builtin apps and their responsiveness! They startup about twice as fast as their counterparts on the Sony blu ray! Very nice color and crispness! Though I hadn't planned on this expense, I think I got good value.

I know it’s cliche, but “Best Bang for your Buck” really does ring true here. Was switching from a 1080p Tv that was maybe two years old to try and see if a smart Tv would ease in cutting the cord. The NetFlix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime buttons are a lot more useful than you’d think. Makings things so simple & easy to switch between. I used to stream movies and was worried I wouldn’t be able to, but turns out the Tv has an App Store and also had the Tv Cast I use! Haha if you’re on YouTube, or streaming a new movie out and realize the games on all it takes is seconds to hit a single button and you’re right back to cable(or w/e ur setup is). I thought that the difference between 4K n 1080p was overblown hype. Then I got this and the right hdmi cords, and was blown away by the picture. The details are amazing. I will say I did have to change some of the settings, off the top of my head there was 1 or 2 that had to go, I want to say it was power saving mode/ color or mood behavior. I’m not positive but I’ll check and edit this to give the exact name of it. Other than that, Amazing Tv & a Great Deal.
