Could have been a great TV

TV has a great picture. It was very easy to set-up. The remote has a pointer that follows where the remote points to make on-screen changes to set-up, which is a neat idea but takes a bit of getting use to. My big disappointment come from me having a paid subscription to HBOMax which I can use on my Samsung TV, but it not compatible with the LG without having to purchase additional equipment or using my iPhones airplay feature or another computer, when all that should be necessary is being able to use the HBOMax app. But this app won't load or is not compatible with the LG. So next time I'll purchase another Samsung. I would have never purchased this unit if I had known they couldn't support a subscription that I was already paying for. Seems like a problem that would be so easy to fix. I didn't have to buy additional equipment for my Samsung, I shouldn't have to for an LG.

My old Sony bravia died so I was in need if a new tv. I didn't need anything extravagant but also didn't want to waste money on something that wouldn't last more then a couple years. After doing tons of research I ended up getting the LG and have been pretty happy so far. The picture is clear and colors are sharp. At first I thought the wand remote was going to be dumb but honestly I love it! Especially when using the keyboard for searching titles or entering login info. Has many settings and options but I have not really messed with all that, i just plugged it in as CD watched tv. Obviously there are better TVs out there but for $300 I am very happy with this tv!!

I bought this for my master Bedroom. I’ve been using it for about 3 months. The remote is very easy to use. I especially like how the on-screen pointer works. I easily connected to Alexa and that works well. I can just turn it off by voice command, even a whisper, when I’m sleepy and have it turn on as part of my morning alarm. I’m very happy with the sound and picture quality. One of the best things is I don’t pay for another cable connection, but just watch many LG’s Internet TV channels, which has many interesting channels and many news channels. It’s not exactly like cable TV but I always find more than enough channels to interest me. Sometimes there’s a few second lag, but that’s just a function of my WiFi speed. I think it was a great value for the low price I paid for it. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful picture, along with extremely easy to navigate apps. Set up was as easy as I’ve ever had a TV along with the magic remote which connects to all the devices makes it well worth it’s weight compared to others in its division.

A little bit of info on this review, before getting this, we were upgrading from a maybe 6-8 year old flat screen tv, super old and only 36” in size for the panel while the entire body of the tv stretched over 50+ inches! So this tv was definitely a HUGE upgrade! This tv was much better than both my girlfriend and I expected! Needless to say our standards for a good looking image in our household weren’t that high considering what we came from but, the smart tv functions work so smoothly, the image is crystal clear and, the overall look of the tv is one that would fit many aesthetics. Would 100% recommenced this to anyone that would be upgrading anytime soon!

Picture is sharp, colors are good and the sound is very good. For the price this is a very nice 4k tv. The magic remote is a step up from your basic tv remote. You also get the LG channels free which is an extra bonus.

The only thing not amazing about this tv and most flat screens to begin with is the speakers. You will most likely want a sound bar apart from the tv. Otherwise great picture and quality. Pretty light weight tv. Fair price. Lg software is a bit all over but manageable

I purchased this TV because my last one quit working. It was time for me to take the next step up in quality but I didn't have very deep pockets. The picture quality is superior and extremely clear for both bright pictures and dark pictures. The ease of operation was wonderful. I am extremely pleased with this TV and would recommend it. The streaming services are very user friendly and it is compatible with all the newest streaming services such as Disney plus. Our home entertainment center received a very nice upgrade with purchasing this TV.

It has a good picture, but not as sharp or crisp even with tweaking the adjustments. I bought this tv to replace a Samsung that was having issues with turning off and on by itself (a common problem that Samsung has with their TVs, but was unable to remedy) but the quality of Samsung was phenomenal: Samsung by far has an amazingly better picture than LG. The LG seems lacking in the color spectrum, but for the price, it’s not bad. I do like the remote, it’s easy to navigate, fits in the hand comfortably, and I like where the buttons are positioned. The LG was very easy to set up out of the box. I would prefer to have a Samsung, but the off and on thing was the dealbreaker, so I bought this instead.

This was my first TV purchase in 10 years and I wasn't disappointed! The quality is fantastic and I love the remote that comes with it, great for gaming! My only concern is when I was watching (Game of Thrones) the TV would completely black out for a second or two during scenes when lighting is dark. It may be something I have to change in the settings, but overall a great TV!

I love the LG interface. The picture is great with 4K content but the viewing angle could be better. The remote and LG content store are amazing. My other LG is an OLED so it won’t be fair to compare the 2 but for a mid-lower tier model it is great.

Purchased over Thanksgiving week to replace an aging tv in our bedroom. We used the AR feature on the Best Buy app to determine the size needed/wanted and ordered this tv and picked it up that eveing. The picture quality is outstanding. The sound is ok, but we added a Sonos Beam, so we don't use the built-in speaker any longer. 3 HDMI ports allow us to connect an Apple TV 4K and a PS4 Pro. Set up was a breeze. The 'pointer' function of the remote is a little bizarre at first, but you get used to it.

Overall, there is everything right with this TV. The brightness, the colors, frame rate, sl design, smart connectivity... excellent. Probably the only gripe I have is that the legs on the stand are incredibly flimsy. Just imagine the guy who worked out for a year straight, but skipped leg day. That being said- you might want to buy a TV strap or a wall mount. Or you can risk your 50" TV taking a tumble.
