very happy with this tv. picture is great!! good brightness and very crisp and clear. one thing i did notice is when watching hi def shows. the HDR 10 deal, i think, it seems different than normal tv's. it's kind of like my gopro videos. it's ultra high def but looks weird. i think it is upscaling the video or something. i prob just need to get used to it. bought this as a replacement for my vizio m series that only lasted 2 months. hopefully this one lasts longer. haven't figured out the thinQ app yet. great picture, great sound. very happy. love the remote too. it's like a computer mouse on the screen. haven't done voice recognition yet.

I love our new LG 50 inch Nano TV. Set up was very easy. I got it to be able to stream and it works like a dream. I got it on Black Friday but the price now is still what it was then. This is my 3rd LG tv and all three are great TVs and one is nearly 20 years old! LG is my go to for a TV!

I bought this tv for a bedroom remodel. I’m pleased with the size of it for our large bedroom. The setup was very easy. The colors are beautiful. We already have an LG tv in the living room, so I was familiar with the remote. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Great picture, easy to set up. Would have loved a 120Hz refresh screen, but not worth the almost $300 upcharge. See virtually no lags on high speed live events, like F1 racing or close up fight scenes, but don't think it would stand up to gaming.

Was in the market for a bedroom TV and thought I'd take a chance and try a brand new LG model. Nice smart TV unit. Easy start-up, tv setup was a little challenging as far as how the screen looks. But after peddling around with it, I found the right balance for the room that it is. Remote is easy and is laid out ok. So far so good after a couple of weeks.

This was easy to set up and remote is easy to use. Great picture. There are extensive "tweaks" in settings that you can make to fine tune the picture to your liking. Very satisfied with this TV purchase.

I’m glad I chose to upgrade to this model, it has beautiful vibrant colors and sharp contrasts. I’ve also found that the LG processor is the best TV I’ve ever gamed on, smooth transitions and clean gameplay. The sound leaves a lot to be desired, but honestly, TV’s aren’t built for sound anymore because most people purchase a soundbar with subwoofer. The remote is a worthwhile feature, the most intuitive and smooth I’ve ever used.

We purchased a new LG 50 inch Nano TV and love it. The color is much improved as ii the sound quality. The apps are a new addition which we find easy to utilize. The control segment is one that you role which is a little difficult, other than that we are enjoying all the new features.

TV is basically good, but support is subpar

The TV is basically good, but the support and repair service are subpar—at least in the Boston area. These are the problems that remain:
1. Although AirPlay is generally working, sometimes wireless AirPlay between my iPhone 11 Pro Max and the TV just suddenly stops working. I am able to fix this by turning both the iPhone and TV off and on.
2. At this point, the TV seems to remember its settings, and the picture is not blurry so often. Why did it improve? Were changes made remotely, or does my TV have built-in AI that can do this?
3. I still cannot play some of my Sling recordings using LG’s Sling app—in every case, my iPhone is able to play them. All these movies were recorded in 2017 and were initiated by an Android phone. I still am not able to play certain channels on Sling. In every case, if the channel is listed on my iPhone, I can play it. However, the LG TV lists more, duplicate channels than the iPhone.
4. I would like the default screen on my TV to be the Home screen, but I’m unable to implement this—instead, the default screen is Sling, or the last app I used.
5. The web browser on the TV is often frozen—but sometimes it gives me the main page of a website. For the first time, I was able to play music on a certain website. When I log into another website, the pop-up keyboard covers up the password field. I also cannot exit out of certain websites—I have to go Home. It would be best if LG had their own apps for some of these websites.
6. I cannot change the aspect ratio when using certain apps on my iPhone and using screen mirroring.
I attempted to resolve these problems, but the repairman said nothing was wrong with the TV, and he was also impolite. LG tech support was clueless. Still, this is the best TV I’ve ever had.

Great tv for the money. We use it mostly to access YouTube cardio and Pilates videos. Very easy to set up, picture is great and sound is great even without the sound bar. Love the Magic remote.
I have been a Samsung fan for a long time, but we recently bought an LG dishwasher, and now with this TV I may be converting to LG.

I was looking for a couple of new Smart TVs and found the 50" LG NanoCell 75 Series LED 4K UHD. The televisions are solid yet lightweight and extremely easy to set up. The picture quality is superb and the pricing at Best Buy helped to seal the deal.

I bought this TV for my Xbox Series X and PS5. It is only a native 60 Hz refresh rate. However, the picture is still very smooth and looks amazing whether gaming or streaming movies/TV shows. I'd highly recommend this TV, it is a great TV at a great price.

AGGRAVATING OPERATING SYSTEM SET-UP

We have four other brands of TVs in our home and LG is the most aggravating TV operating system to install. First, it had the dreaded "Unable to download User Agreement" notice, which would not allow us to do ANYTHING. Had to search the internet for an hour to find the proper solution. We resolved the issue by changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and then the TV was able to reach the User Agreement section of Set-up. Second, the Magic Remote is not intuitive and won't turn on/off my Sony soundbar. It would only control the sound. Had to turn on/off soundbar with separate Sony remote. The Magic remote is also difficult to see the buttons at night and cannot discerns the button types by feel (volume buttons). Third, hated the LG operating system/menus and bought another Firestick 4K, which was 1000% easier and more intiuitive to use as it only took 3 minutes to set-up. The Amazon stick is also able to turn on the Sony soundbar and the LG TV together!
Other than the operating system and Magic remote being very difficult to set-up/use, the Nano TV picture is very nice. Now, we know why this TV was $100 cheaper than any TV with Fire OS.

Love the picture quality on this TV. This was a nice addition to my office. Not a huge fan of the point for arrow movement in the remote, but I do like the scroll wheel select button and quick buttons to Netflix, Prime Video, LG Channels and that it ties to Alexa.

The tv was a breeze to set up with the magic remote. No need to run extra cable. Adding a sound bar was very easy once I had the correct hdmi cable. Very pleased with the picture, easy to navigate interface. I do wish the magic remote had backlighting.

Great product. Crisp, clear picture, great price. Sound is a little low but getting sound bar will address that. Easy ability to go to a wide variety of channels and services. Well worth the investment. Staff help was quick and answered all my questions.
