After getting jumping through a few hoops to get it set up, mostly HDMI-CEC issues it’s a good tv for the money. I can’t recommend the normal user-interface, or the normal remote with motion controls like a wii but if you’re using a Shield or other streaming box of sorts it works great.

Like this TV a LOT. Good picture on the normal brightness. Good sound. Very easy to navigate. I did not like the remote control at first because the volume up and down is on the left side of the remote, but after using for a couple days, I realized that it was GOOD on that side and would not have been convenient on the right. I like the scrolling feature on the remote too.

Really love the picture and the sound is pretty good too. The manuel that can be downloaded is pretty good and there is a lot of good info online. Not crazy about the magic remote, kind of confusing with some buttons having multiple functions and not labeled. Steep learning curve and I'm still at the boy.

Definetly not a bad TV, although not the best one out there. I feel like the user interface could be a bit quicker but it gets the job done. It's not my main TV. Compared to another TV of mine, the colors sure do pop!

As described. The unit has a nice picture; clear and features. Could have a better remote. Depth is not as preferred but for the price it is a great buy.

The TV was easy to set up and program with my cable box. The apps were easy to install. The remote acts as a mouse to point and click on the screen. Works well. The picture quality is excellent.

I gave it its 2 stars simply for the quality of picture. Everything else either stinks or is a royal pain. The WIFI connection is constantly interrupted despite me having a very expense Eero Mesh system throughout my entire house (and no other TV, computer, tablet, etc ever looses connection). Navigation between streaming services via the remote is ridiculous. Plus there’s a little ball in the middle of the remote that once you hit it, you get this squiggly little teardrop that flies all over the screen and is responsive to the motion of the remote itself. SUPER ANNOYING and completely unnecessary. Also if you hit it the wrong way it changes what you were watching. The sound is UP and DOWN depending on what streaming service you are using. If I’m watching something on Hulu at volume 8, and then I change to Netflix at the same volume level you can barely hear whatever is playing on Netflix. Still can’t get the voice control to work properly. And people, I have 4 other smart TV’s in my house, ALL TCL Roku’s that work great, remote is great and a lot less expensive. I’m still mad at myself for straying from what I like and know works. If I didn’t throw out the box to this new TV I would have returned it already!!!

I have only had the television a few weeks. I was surprised how much bigger the 50" is over my old 43". The picture quality is so much better than my old UHD tv. The WiFi drops occasionally, so I just direct wired it to the router. My computer, cell phone, or other tv never drops from the wifi. I can overlook that there is an easy solution and there is far to many positives to let that bother me.

We got this TV as an upgrade to an older and smaller Roku TV. We purchased a higher end LG earlier this year and really like it. For the price, around the holidays this seemed like a good choice as a secondary TV. The TV has been great so far. It functions just like it's more expensive sibling does. I have seen several reviews about the TV losing connection with Wifi and connection dropping while streaming shows. Thus far we have not experienced that at all. The picture, sound and overall experience has been great.

Owned the TV for 1 month now. Great picture quality. No sure that I love the webOS interface. With my old TV I used a Roku stick for app watching. Roku is so much better. Trying to figure out how to have my cable tv displayed when you first turn the TV on. Overall I might choose a TV with Roku built in like the Toshiba/TCL models but LG picture quality is much better.

Quality and clarity of this television is amazing!!! We purchased it for two reasons - selfish and helpful. My 75 year old father lives with us and his eyesight isn’t perfect so it has been great to know he can see everything clearly and read whatever is on the screen - our living room is odd shaped so the length of the living room didn’t help his eyesight. Selfish part was the husband wanted a bigger television!!

A good looking TV. Pretty thin with a nice bevel. Color and customization is good The reason why its 4 stars and not 5 is because the software is really slow. They have a quick settings button that isnt very quick but all the functions work fine just a little slow.
