Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great! i ended up replacing 3 tv sets that were 25 plus years old for less than the $700 i paid for one top of the line 27 inch 35 years ago. i got 33 inch and 40 inch that are great and this LG 50 is outstanding and even though i've had it a month i marvel at how bright and clear the 4k is!

Wonderful Screen Quality

Our last LG we weren't a fan of but the screen quality on this one is amazing. It is also very easy to operate. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Wide viewing area needed

We needed a wide viewing area and we are happy with the results. The picture is clear and bright, and the sound is fine. The picture quality is acceptable at approximately a 50-55 degree viewing angle.

Wow was I impressed? Great picture quality with superb clarity and very good audio. Black are great with proper adjustments. I will have no hesitation in buying again. Great deal.

Good TV - LG’s OS leaves something to be desired

LG’s webOS is just terribly slow and annoying to use. I’m an Apple guy anyway, so that’s not a deal breaker for me. I bought it because, for the quality of picture, it was a great price.

I do not have cable in the room it is in so I downloaded the xfinity stream beta app. However I have found some LG channels worth watching now and then. I had made adjustments to certain tv settings, like backlite, brightness, etc.

So far, we have been pleased with the picture and sound quality. Everything has been as advertised. We have purchased this set as our main living room tv. We have had no issues to this point. Very good quality for the money!

A super quality(usually buy Sony, LG is very nice)

A nice companion for AppleTv 4K runs in HDR mode! Crisp video and a very clean sound with two settings: down or back (the on-stand mode, on-wall mode)

Superb Quality

I love LG Tv's over other sets due to the superb quality of the picture. Unfortunately while moving my screen got busted. I will definitely be purchasing another one soon.

It is not the highest quality but it is far better than anything I have ever owned. I am pleased with this purchase. I bought a sound bar when I purchased this and def recommend one.

Good quality

It is fast turning on and dealing with the settings. Only thing it doesn’t have that older LGs had was auto energy saving. Only have minimum medium and high.
