Customers are positive about the picture quality, price, easy setup, size, and color of the 50" Class UP7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the great picture and sound quality, affordability, user-friendly setup, suitable size, and vibrant colors. However, customers are negative about the remote control, screen issues, limited HDMI ports, and slow performance. They find the remote control difficult to use due to its small size, have experienced cracked screens and blackouts, encountered issues with HDMI ports not registering, and noticed slow operation and storage limitations.

Good picture, but LG Apps don't provide as many options as Samsung TVs.

Not thrilled with this. It’s ok. Picture is ok but I think better value in Samsung. I bought a 55” Samsung about 2 weeks later for same price. I would have waited and bought 2 of the Samsungs. It’s not that LG is bad. Just minor differences and with the Samsung I got a slightly larger screen.

I'm really enjoying my new television. I rated a 4 out of 5 because the set up was not easy with my iPhone 7, it's too old to be compatible with this particular TV, I had to use my boyfriend's newer phone to set my TV up. I'm not a fan of the Home Screen, but I also have not taken the time to see if I can change it.

The television that i purchased has been really good about accessing the channels through internet. I love that it is internet accessible. It has been a joy to use it and it is mainly used in the home for other family members. Thanks a lot

I rarely write a poor review for a product. I only do this when a product is such an unexpected letdown, that I feel compelled to save others from the same tragic mistake. When a company has obviously turned out the cheapest junk possible to make margin at the expense of the consumer.
I had two Sony 42” HDTV’s that were both purchased at the same time, I guess about 2008. They were LCD tv’s that were about 3000 dollars each. What a run I wish I NEVER gave them to my kids and replaced them.
I bought a Samsung 52” HDTV almost exactly 4 years ago, I guess it was about 7-800 bucks. The picture was a letdown compared to the Sonys, even though they were a few generations newer. Tolerable as it was still sharp crisp, and defined. Just not realistic color. I got over it. In may of this year, at less that 4 years old, the picture just went black one day. I was watching it, nothing out of the ordinary happened, the picture just died. At first you could still see a shadow of picture on a corner. Then dead. I was pretty disappointed as I thought Samsung made a quality product. I set off to Best Buy to replace it. I saw an LG 50” HDTV, this. It was like 400 I think. On sale. Anyway. I should have turned around as soon as I realized this TV weighs about 15 lbs. it feels like a cheap cardboard fake tv you used to see on displays in stores. So flimsy, the screen looks like it would bend easily. Oh well it’s going on a TV stand never to be moved again.
The real problems with this abomination started when I went to use it. I am a YouTube.tv user so I went to install YouTube.tv app on this thing, since it came with about 150 apps that you don’t want. Took me about 2 hours of sheer frustration to accomplish. There is no way for you to update anything on this TV until you register. Doesn’t matter if it’s firmware, the OS or apps.
Then I began to attempt to install YouTube.tv. It was so frustrating I actually wanted to just smash this TV on my lawn with a golf iron. Profanities spewed from my mouth as each pointless attempt to navigate this “OS” resulted in no progress. Unless you hate yourself, do not buy this roach.

Good tv, save with geeksquad verified discounted open box. Only buy as pick up though. Received by ups delivery in a beat up box with absolutely no type of padding or protection. Thank goodness it still looks good and works fine.
