    Worst LG TV to Date

I have 2 LG TVs in various rooms, and have had issues with the lower end models. This specific tv seems to randomly shut down as you’re navigating menus, and will power cycle on and off. This is incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to watch TV. To make matters worse, it wasn’t a defect exclusive to the tv I bought- I exchanged it, and the second one had the same exact issue! Also, this is an issue with my other LG TVs too, but I selected to have it default to the Home Screen so I can go directly to my apps. However, it always defaults to live antenna tv, which I don’t want and results in extra screen navigation. I will be returning this model and getting a Samsung. You get what you pay for! I’d STRONGLY recommend not buying this TV.

    $300 Money Pit

Unfortunately, my reviews of this TV keep getting "accidentally" lost. I hope this one sticks. I bought this TV less than 18 months ago to replace our undersized bedroom TV, which has been moved outside into the Arizona heat where it has remained, functioning flawlessly, for that entire stretch of time. This LG TV, on the other hand, has been mounted in our climate controlled bedroom for the past year and a half, where we have put, at most, 200 hours on it. Three days ago, the internal components failed and we were met with a black screen. LGs crack team of customer service representatives reminded me that they were only willing to put a 12 month stamp of confidence on their shoddy craftsmanship, which leaves my wife and I firmly in the "out of luck" camp. Now I'm out $300 with nothing to show for it. Buyer beware! LG and Best Buy took my money and ran.

Broken before I even opened the box

I kept this TV in the box when I bought it from Best Buy because I was going to be moving in two months. I transported this upright in the box and my larger living room tv in box. Both TVs were upright in the passenger area of the truck, and strategically place so there was no way for it to rock and tip or break in the box with the Styrofoam around it, along other boxes like my PCs that I too had gotten from best buy. Well, I get to my new home and set it up the screen was already cracked. Someone broke the upper corner of the screen, it had finger to knuckle size marks on it before I got it out of the box. I tried contacting Best Buy and they won't exchange it since it's past the exchange date. LG won't even get in contact with me on getting it fixed. If you buy a TV from here or any other store, check the TV out. There are way too many sleazy people in this world.

There are so many more advanced TVs out there that this isn't worth it even on sale. It's totally outdated. You'll have to spend a bunch of time toggling through picture settings for each thing you want to watch.
