'Great picture, the only unit we liked better was nearly twice the price. The sound is really pretty good also. Processor seems rather small, as the unit is slow to boot up when its first turned on. As each of the "apps" are upgraded, it seems to get slower. Sometime locks up, we must unplug it and start over.

Very good picture and features. Unhappy that I had to purchase a separate remote to access all of the features. It wasn’t mentioned when shopping. However the $35.00 remote is so much better that the remote included with the tv that I almost don’t mind. However LG should just raise the price and include the advanced remote.

The LG 50” is an amazing TV. The set up is amazing, the picture quality is fantastic and it pairs so easily with an Apple TV as well as other peripherals. Plug-in and optical cable to a sound bar and you get surroundsound immediately.

This TV has a very good picture. The remote is simple yet has all the functions one could ask for. It streams well. The sound quality is good. The TV is very lightweight and thin. It is not heavy and the legs go on very easily. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

The television is great. It has many preset features that are often used. The color and the sound are both excellent! The price was right. However the remote control is not easy to use. I got used to the Fire Stick remote from my previous set. Too many buttons on this one!

This brand of television never disappoints. The picture quality and high volume speakers are essential to any person that doesn't have a full a/v sound setup. I definitely like the ease of use related to the television and remote control. Lastly, the sound is of very high quality for a television that is not connected to a sound bar.

Linc helped me cancel an online order that was stuck in limbo and buy the item in person. He was my hero. The TV was easy to set up and flexible to connect. Simple to mount on the wall. Picture quality is excellent and the menus are decent though not great. I wish there was a power button on the device instead of having to use the remote.

Nice tv , picture quality is good but sound quality and the old fashioned remote is not kool at all , should have bought a Samsung or Sony for a little bit more price

First of all, it took us two weeks to find someone who knew how to put the TV on the wall. Second, it took several hours to figure out what all the channels and buttons were. Third, I realized I already had Prime Video, so I figured out how to watch it on the new TV. Then I realized that my spouse and I are 86 and 76, respectively, with limited technical knowledge, and we needed a dumb TV rather than a smart TV. I called my cable company to find out how to convert smart to dumb, and she told me what to do. Then my spouse's godson explained further where to find the button on the new clicker that would get me to dumb TV, aka, CABLE. Now we use two clickers where one sufficed before, but we're delighted with the larger screen and better picture!

TV picture is good, yet it doesn’t have many operator options, and the remote control has far too many buttons, with very little info on them as to use! Not surprisingly, the remote failed at less than 4 wks. use!

This TV is nicely mounted on my table top and provides a good picture and sound for our bedroom use. It easy to operate and works well with our Roku stick. There is also access to a number of streaming services directly through LG.

Let me tell you why you should not waste your money on this product. I recently purchased this TV and have had a few notable experiences with it. The sound quality is one area where it falls short. Even with the mounted option, the audio feels inconsistent depending on whether you’re sitting or standing. Additionally, the equalizer is subpar, leading to uneven sounds. Another issue is the frequent freezing. Navigating from one function to another is frustratingly slow; you have to wait after pressing a key, which makes using the TV a cumbersome process. The remote control adds to the frustration. It has too many buttons, which are uncomfortable to press, and the delays in response make it hard to tell if it’s even working. The home screen interface is overly complicated, with an overwhelming amount of features. It often takes forever to load, making the initial setup and daily use inconvenient and time-consuming. I wish I could return it, but unfortunately, I do not want to deal with the hassle. It just sits in our second bedroom now and is almost never used. Overall, I wish I could get my money back.

It's exactly the tv we needed for our space -- not too big. great color/resolution, user friendly. easily mounts to a wall. My only criticism is that I don't love the remote, but we've been able to swap it back to our Xfinity remote.

Our new 50" LG Smart TV is perfect for our living room entertainment center. It fits the opening exactly and has great color and sound quality. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the product. Go LG !!!

My first HD tv. Been waiting for a while for the right price and which brand to choose. I use the tv for streaming and workout vids. Not watching regular tv shows over here. Picture quality is good. Setting up is easy .

Going from my 13 year old 1,080p Vizio to this new 4K UHD LG TV is akin to LEAPING AHEAD from one of Henry Ford's first production Model Ts straight into a LOADED 2025 Chevy Corvette. When I turn on my new TV, I'm so amazed by the AMAZING QUALITY of the on screen imagery that I'm both mentally and physically temporarily immobilized. I'll be MESMERIZED by my TVs display for TENS OF SECONDS before I can snap out of this hypnotic-like state to tune to the programming I intended to enjoy. This TV creates for me an ENTIRELY different (as in NEW and GREATLY improved) television viewing experience.

Operating system is slow compared to other brands and cluttered with ann unnecessary lg apps page. Picture is good. Remote has too many buttons.
