Currently waiting for 2 weeks for LG to come see if they can fix it. Before that happened it worked well, great quality, but i am now skeptical of LG's
No, I would not recommend this to a friend the older was better

We have to hold the remote directly under one of our two lamps, as so we don't hit the wrong button. It's been just over a week, and navigating the TV itself is a pain. The layout is busy and abilities are useless. It recognizes our Roku stick but that is as far as it goes. Finding an app that you want is extremely limited too. On a positive note, the picture and sound is good.

The home screen is dominated by stuff I don't want - half with ads for TV programs I don't care about, 'collections' in boxes for 'sport', fitness' , entertainment etc etc. I can't get rid of them. I don't get cable and my service is over the internet only - this TV doesn't seem to understand that this is a thing. As every review says, the response is laggy - you press a button and nothing much seems to happen. I've never had such an awful user experience. These guys should stick to refrigerators.
