I decided to go with it because I have had good experiences with LG and I'm impressed. All these complaints about noise are a bit puzzling as this is not any louder than most ac's at this level of power. The unit itself is very good looking and comes with a very simple easy to use remote. I got it on sale with a discount but it is expensive at 600 bucks ( like most at this level of btus). Overall, very happy with the purchase.

The price was right. Suggest getting a spare filter, as it requires filter cleaning every two weeks. The spare means no waiting for the filter to dry while you roast.

It's the perfect size and is sleek and clean looking. The only drawback is that it is a little loud but it does a great job of cooling off my space.

Good lord rubber bumpers on bottom of unit in mount might stop some but it is truly the loudest A/C I have ever seen. But really cools great, after 1 month of no A/C in Arizona I will put up with my new Noisemakers!!

I purchased 2 of these (but 8000 btu) in the past. one lasted 9 years, the second one is still going. LG seems to be reliable brand in AC space. hope this one will last too (it is 118500 btu). so far so good.

On this most recent purchase very frustrated. Ordered an a/c unit and it has been on continual delay. Today I was told I could pick it up in Portland Maine. None in stock so switched back to my first choice in NH. Very frustrating!

So my room is not cool as it should be
