I have really enjoyed my new smart tv, it has great Color. Excellent picture quality, and good sound quality. I would like to recommend this tv to anyone starting out for a great price.

We bought the tv blind. There was no display of it and I hadnt looked at reviews on it before purchasing. A sales rep recommended us this TV based on our budget and what we wanted. Overall we really like the TV . the picture quality is very well for the price point. The smart aspects of it is fine. We use Netflix a lot and it has several glitches to where it kicks out of Netflix often. So thats annoying. the sound is surprisingly good for a thin TV. We bought a soundbar thinking we were going to need it but ended up returning it because the sound was sufficient for us. NEEDS MORE HDMI HOOK UPS. There is only 2. we have a firestick, DVD player player and xbox. So we always have to unplug one to use the other. I feel like this can cause issues with it wearing out over time. We have a tv thats 8 years old and it has 4. So I feel it's lacking in this department.

Colors are vibrant and tvoverall is everything that we hoped for. We looked at several models at several stores but ended up purchasing this one based on the reviews and the outstanding help at our local Best Buy. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

Our sales person was extremely knowledgeable and professional about the differences of all the smart TVs. She was helpful in our making the selection.

Very smart and clear, my kids are really enjoying their cartoons on the big screen with fun entertainment.

Picture is great, but the sound could use improvement

Pros: Very good picture and sound. TV comes on immediately with no "boot" delay. Apps are easy to download and install. This is an excellent TV for the price (which I got for $496.00). Cons: (These may be of little consequence to most people.) The HDMI-2 connection on the back is straight out, so that if you hang the TV on the wall it might be hard to fit an HDMI-2 cable between the TV and the wall. The HDMI-1 connection is sideways, so it is not a problem. The smart function can detect virtual servers you can set up on your computer, like Universal Media Server or Tversity. However it cannot detect Windows shared files over the wifi network directly. UMS is freeware, so this solution works well for people who want to view their media files on the TV without another device, such as a Blu-Ray player. LG Blu-Ray players (unlike most competitors) allow you to pause and fast forward video files stored on your PC, as well as search through their playing times. This is very handy with some videos. You cannot do this with this smart TV, unless you also have an LG Blu-Ray player and view the video files though the player rather than directly from a virtual server like UMS. I suspect LG wants you to buy the Blu-Ray player in addition to the TV to do this. This is really not a criticism of the TV, since no other TV I know of allows this function directly either.

I love this tv. It was a great price, very easy to use and configure and the picture is great.

When we dating I gave my now hubby a TV, and now every 7 years, I get him a new TV. This is our first flat screen TV. I am very pleased with the picture, love how light it is. Now that its mounted on the wall, I can't believe it took me so long to get him a flat screen. The pictures are clearer, the sound is perfect. Worth the price.

Only had this tv a short 2 months, but so far no major issues. I have had bad luck with Samsung's my last two tvs, so went with this LG brand. But, easy to program, has good picture, can do many things as a smart tv (haven't had time to explore everything) good weight, thin, and decent all around. You need a sound system with it though as the tv sound alone is not the best.

I don't write a lot of reviews because I'm sceptical of what others write on the internet. But this TV has blown me away. The picture quality is top notch. (the multitude of settings astounds me) The smart features are smooth and the fact that it can connect to the 5k band of my dual band router is incredible. That keeps my band width unencumbered and running fast. only issue was that it didn't fit on my TV stand but that's not the TV's fault. if your looking for a high quality TV for you business, apartment, or what have you, this is a product you wont regret. LG makes some of the best televisions on the market. There are cheaper units but they cant touch this one in quality.

Top 3 best picture i have ever seen. I live this tv. Unfortunately LG stopped making them . Im dissappointed. I would get another one anytime. I love the rich colors.

Bought the TV at $479 and thought that was good. Saw it advertised for $429 a month later! What a bargain! When I went to Best Buy to find out about 4k tvs, the employee let me know you had to get at least 120 UH to enjoy the picture without seeing drag, especially during football games. Samsung had something advertised at 120 UH in my budget of $700, but the employee let me know that is not true 120 UH and the picture may drag because it is 120 UH via Samsung's standards. Don't get me wrong, I had a Samsung until recent and it was great until it finally died after 7 years of faithful service. The 4K TVs with 120 UH were considerably more expensive. In the neighborhood of $1,000 at the time. We as a family are really used to 50" so we did not want to go smaller. So I asked myself "Am I happy with 1080P and have I been happy with it for the past decade? Or is it really worth switching to 4K?" So I bought the 55" 1080P TV at $479 and have been happy with it. Don't give into the lure of 4K for a $1,000. Its not worth it. 1080P is good and is a great deal at below $500 for 55" You do have to adjust the picture when you first get it, as the colors appear to be off in the default setting. Ask yourself, are you an average television watcher, or do you really need the extra at twice the cost? I'd say more than most are happy with 1080P. Take that extra money and go buy more Christmas presents. or holiday presents or whatever festivus presents. or if you don't buy presents put it in your savings account. Or open one if you don't have one. :)

This Tv is a great value for the price, the picture quality is right there and the controls are user friendly. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Great picture quality! Love all of the "smart tv" features. I've had this tv for several months now and have really enjoyed it.

So pleased with this television! Awesome sound and picture quality !! Apps and features are easy to maneuver..love it!!

I have to admit that LG is one of my favorite brands....and this TV did not disappoint. Attaching the feet was the only setup required....once we plugged it in and attached the HDMI cable to our cable box, we did not have to make any other adjustments. Our plasma TV died, which had excellent picture quality. Switching to LED with this purchase, we expected to see less picture quality. But the picture was crystal clear and we didn't have to make any changes to the color/sharpness/tint, etc.

This is a great TV for the price. The picture quality is great! I have it hooked up to cable but love that it has the smart TV capabilities when I want to watch Netflix. My only complaint is the volume seems low when watching movies so I would suggest getting a soundbar. Overall, great TV.

Was looking for a larger screen with smart tv. Didn't want to spend a lot of money. Reviews of this TV were right on. Good picture (not great) for the money. Super easy to set up. Smart TV is a great plus. Easy to navigate settings to change the picture to fit what you're watching
