TV was easy to set up, and worked nicely right out of the package. The picture was much better than my old LCD TV, and obviously much bigger (46 to 55).

We would by another one to put in our bar but smaller like a 39 or 43 with the same kind of refresher

I've had my LG 55UH7700 for about a month now and I am SO impressed with it! The picture is crisp and clear, the colors very lifelike (especially skin-tones), and the "standard" and "cinema" modes look perfect right out of the box. I don't have cable/satellite and watch live TV using an antenna, and the major networks come through looking excellent most of the time (UHF stations vary with atmospheric conditions). Some of the HD YouTube videos are just amazing - I watched a couple videos of Dead & Co. on Jimmy Kimmel and it felt like I was sitting in the front row. Another one of the things I love about this TV is that I'm able to plug a Sandisk SSD drive into the USB 3.0 port to watch downloaded movies and shows. Even the standard DVDs I watch on my Oppo player look great, so I can't wait to see what 4K media on a 4K player will look like. The built-in Harmon Kardon sound system sounds very good for everyday watching, but I will be adding an AV receiver in the future. The Magic Wand remote control is taking some time to get used to but works well overall. It would be nice if LG (and all the other manufacturers) would provide a REAL MANUAL with DETAILED EXPLANATIONS of how everything works, but I manage to figure out what I need to know using their silly online manual. This is a minor complaint though, and I have to say I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

I would recommend this TV to anyone. Set up was easy but final picture adjustment took some time.
