This is my first LG TV and first new TV since 2008. They have come along way and are very affordable. This tv is easy to set up, I agree the default energy saver screen setting is too dark. Depending on your room and primary content, there are many preset options to select. The network setup, updates, apps, interface was very intuitive to me.

This was an open box, love the TV but had some missing screws. Glad we still choose this Silver TV, my son love it for gaming.

Easy setup, works with my Harmony Remote. The 4K picture is awesome! I love having Netflix and Amazon movies at my fingertips.

The color is vivid and so easy to operate. Fit perfectly in the space I had available. The set-up of the TV was easy to do.

I don't get technical so I go by what I see. This TV looks great. Speakers sound good but I use a sound system. Video games look great and play great. Movies pop and are spectacular on this TV. If you want a great 55" set and like LG then buy this TV. WIFI is easy to setup and connects fast.Apps are easy to get to. Recommend for everyone.

In a daily comparison with an older Samsung in another room, the LG just is not as pleasing to the eye with the same signal from Frontier, the Samsung is the winner.

Best TV we ever purchased. if you are looking for a good value for the price, this is the one.

Recently purchased the LG 55" 4k as a component in a total upgrade of my audio visual system. Great images - love it so far.

This TV promised to be good but in the end only the smart features were good. I spent hours adjusting the settings. I started with expert settings from various AV forums and tweaked them to no avail. The motion blur was significant. Even with blue ray CDs the images were not clear. I returned it for a Samsung 8000. More expensive but worth it.

Best tv I've ever owned! Delivery was flawless and smooth, and I've had no problems at all with my product! I love it!

The picture is good, sound is great but had some trouble with the blacks and the HDMI ports. I wonder if mine was a defect somehow.

This tv is awesome... we're had it for a few months now and the 4K content looks awesome on the screen! Thanks LG!

The mostly comment is because we had to purchase a range extender for the TV to connect to the internet.

Excellent 4K TV at an affordable price. Games on the PS4 Pro look fantastic.

This set is a great value at $800. It has all the features you will need plus it operates at 240Hz. Only wished it had the black level as my Sharp Aquos Quotron has.

Clear picture. There are a ton of features. Probably need a sound bar like with most tvs.
