Very happy with the television. The picture quality is superlative. I have owned a number of high-end televisions (and still do) and none compare to this one. The sound quality and depth is very good for a built-in sound system and this was the main reason for going with this particular model over the B6. It took very little tinkering to calibrate the picture to my liking which was the complete opposite of my Samsung JS9000. I wont mention the black level because we all know OLEDs excel there but LG really out did themselves with this television. Even the premium magic remote is awesome. I only removed one star because of the price. It is relatively expensive...but you get what you pay for.

Got this tv to go with my new Xbox one S, the picture is fantastic. Great TV for gaming, I was worried about input lag as it's a little higher than the highly praised Samsung KS9000, but I'm a very competitive gamer and have had no issue with this TVs input lag, I play rocket league and overwatch religiously with no impact. 4K on Amazon, Netflix and YouTube look fantastic.

The picture was beautiful with great sound. Smart function easy to learn good remote. BUT sometime during the third/ fourth week of operation the screen after operating for a few hours suddenly began generating vertical lines all over the screen and progressively get worse over time. Overnight the problem goes away but returns randomly. I called Best Buy who, after three transfers, redirected me to LG the manufacturer. I called LG who after only two transfers gave me a service Tech phone number to call. I called but number was not functional due to being improperly set up. I call LG back again who tells me that this cannot be right and suggest that I return TV to Best Buy. I am handicapped and had Best Buy deliver and set up the TV as I cannot physically do this. I asked for a reference number in regards to this repair order and got nothing. No one is standing behind this product so I cannot recommend in good conscience.

This TV is stunningly beautiful. The picture quality is amazing, and the design is aesthetically pleasing. The infinite contrast really makes colors pop against perfect black levels. The 3D capability is a wonderfully immersive feature. The built-in soundbar produces crystal clear sound with plenty of volume and nice bass. The OS is intuitive and easy to navigate using the wand remote. Overall, this is the best TV I've ever owned.

Perfect black levels, stunning colors, no motion blur and ideal for movies, shows, streaming and gaming! Genius operating system in WebOS 3.0, made better with the magic universal remote. The picture quality truly speaks for itself. When you put all the big brand (LG, Samsung, Sony) gimmicks, tech talk and advertising aside, your eyes dont lie. Side by side, no tv holds up to an OLED. Do your homework. Every reputable review site and expert agrees, there is nothing better in the TV world, period.

Amazing picture and the best 3D I've seen

Absolutely the best TV I have ever seen. Same picture quality as the flagship G6 for a fraction on the price. B6 is great but, no 3D and no glass backing. One of the last 3D TVs which is sad because this TV dose an amazing job at making it easy on the eyes with passive technology. 2D to 3D conversion works beautifully. Its not as bright as all the new high end LCD sets, but who wants to ware sunglasses while they play games, or watch TV and movies anyway? As for everything else, it's a 4k OLED screen with Dolby Vision and HDR10 with far superior contrast and black levels to any other non OLED panel. 55" for $2799.99 is a great deal. Get it while it lasts. 65" is sold out everywhere, otherwise you'd see me review that one.

Great Picture. 3D is the best I've ever seen. Blacks are perfect, and the detail is amazing with the 4K. The Dolby Vision HDR is worth the upgrade.

Best Experience with a TV Ever

The top ratings at CNET have been fully born out in my first weeks of experience with this TV. It has great video in every respect, with the blackest of blacks, and unbelievable 3-D. Teamed wtih my surround-sound system and 4-K Sony blu-ray player, this TV gives me results that make me feel I'm not missing much by viewing at home rather than in a movie house. I can only hope that the durability of this TV matches its initial quality.

Every year there will be a review saying "best tv ever reviewed". But I have a feeling this one will hold up for quite some time. Dont get me wrong, im sure next year's generation will top this year's somehow. But given the price point of these tv's I would say buying one now at its sale price is a smarter choice unless money is not an issue, then you might want to consider to wait for next year's model.
Some criticisms of this tv is motion blur and burn in. But I havent experienced any issues so far (two weeks use). But i dont use this as a pc monitor, nor would i recommend it. You can get burn in if you try to force it, but theres a feature that cycles the screen for an hour when turned off. It's a nice feature in case it ever does happen. As for motion blur, I havent been able to notice it so far but im sure the next generation will try to improve in this area, lg recently showed its hfr technology which is rumored to be on next years oled. So if you have the money, that may be an incentive to wait. But for those interested in the e6, ive watched several blurays and im perfectly happy with the refresh rate, i have not noticed any blur even with fast paced action movies. There is a customizable setting for judder and motion blur which is nice if you dont want to use their presets. I have not tested this for gaming but from what i have read, current oled tvs such as e6 may not be the best option because of input lag.
The current oled lineup is considered to be one of the best, if not the best ever reviewed by many online reviewers for 2016. And although next year's model may take that spot and the year after that, I can comfortably recommend the e6 for it's performance, design and features. It even has dolby vision which may possibly be the future standard. As of now its the best viewing format available even compared to hdr. I strongly feel the current generation of oled (2016) will hold up over time much more than previous generations because of its loaded features and capabilities such as hdr, dv and built in/downloadable apps.

The picture on this TV is incredible. It is a little dark when you setup, you have to adjust the picture settings. Consumer Reports has a write-up on the TV and the setting s they used. After adjustment perfection. The Web OS operating system is the best I've used. The software does a great job making BR disk and 1080p streaming close to 4K and 4K content with HRD is amazing, I may never go to theaters again.

First I researched many 4K tvs before I decided on the OLED. I have to say the picture quality is amazing. Crisp colors and good Blacks. Video games look amazing with the HDR. And 3D is unbelievable. Tv has it all. The sound quality is good but could have been just slightly better. The remote is also getting used to. Works like a wii remote but has other options.

I have a passion for stereoscopic 3D. It has been my hobby for 52 years. I create my own content from maybe 100,000 3D images and hours and hours of 3D video. I purchased this TV after a thorough review since this is the last year LG will be making 3D televisions. I'm a member of a stereo-3D online forum from which I obtained some special 3D image files to test the function of my TV. It passed all the tests perfectly. I'm currently re-watching my collection of about 80 3D Blu-ray movies on this TV. They look great!

Having gotten to sit in front of the 2015 and 2016 OLED models from LG, I have to say that this is by far the most visually impressive television I've ever gotten my hands on. The color and contrast are the best I've ever seen on a television, the quality of it is unmatched and Web OS 3.0 is the fastest television interface on the market today. The only downside is the price; because it's new, it's very expensive and it will leave your wallet hurting, but if you're a baller, go for it.

OLED is amazing. I have been watching movies on blu ray for two months now and even those blow me away. I see details in movies and dark scenes that I never knew existed. I watched Return of the Jedi and in Jaba's palace I saw creatures in the shadows that I have never seen in thirty years of watching that movie. If you really want to see what the black levels are about watch Attack of the clones when Obi Wan is being chased by Jango Fett through an asteroid field. Its was mind blowing. I knew I wanted a new tv and thought the contrast ratios and the infinite black levels would make it worth the price and I was correct. Blu Rays look awesome and most directv channels look good depending on the quality of the feed. I can't wait to actually watch something in 4k.

This is a superb television. The picture is sharp even better than 1080p. The colors are beautiful with blacker blacks. There is no motion blur or juddering. I don`t think anyone could ask for a better quality picture.

Best tv since Pioneer Elite Kuro Plasmas. The new Oled tvs are better than any on the market that is out there. And this tv supersedes them. Brighter colors, high contrast, sharper images, and the deepest blacks since the Pioneer Elite Kuro plasmas. And that is saying a great deal. Since, the last manufacturing of Pioneer Elites ended in 2009. They all say they have the deepest blacks, but that is not really true. I've been evaluating tvs for over 30 years, and believe me this is the deal. If you are looking for a new tv, get this one. It also, is the last of the 3d tvs for 2016 and they will not manufacture any in 2017 models. Enjoy!

We were kind of skeptical buying a new tv, we had a Panasonic plasma that had a great picture. When we went to BB, we had a tv picked out that were interested in. But after talking to the salesman and telling him that our last 2 televisions have been plasma, they suggested we look at the OLED. Wow, what incredible colors and clarity. We liked the picture of the e6 model with the glass screen, and liked the fact that it also had 3d capability. We have had it for about a month, and although we wish it was bigger, it is awesome! Not sure about the built-in sound bar but, it's better than basic speakers.
