Out of the box the picture is by far and away the best picture I have seen from a TV. The clarity is such that at times you feel as though you are actually in the scene that you are watching. The web os is easy to use and the apps are all easy to set up. I would recommend this product without reservation to anyone looking to upgrade to 4K. I thought that my old Pioneer Elite had a good picture but there is no comparison.

Excellent picture and sound bar at bottom is good too. Viewable from all angles and fits in our entertainment center. Sound projects to front and is not swallowed up by wall unit. Connected to surround sound system we already had. Menu is good, lots of settings to choose from. 3D works well. Upscales well, we do not have 4K content yet, besides YouTube. Best tv yet. Finally one worth getting rid of beautiful old Sony hdmi tube model for living room. We also have a 55 inch Sony xbr 929 and another Sony lcd from a while ago.

I was surprised by how thin this TV is. The screen panel is about as thick as a bare iPhone. Like other reviews said, the picture color and sharpness are excellent. I would invest in speakers because the built-in speakers are good but not at the same level as the imagery. With so many features in the OS, you'll have to go online more info. The little booklet that comes with the tv isn't enough.

Looked through a lot of items before deciding but am happy with what I chose. Picture quality is excellent and very realistic. Only problem I have is when transitioning between regular TV and something like Netflix or Amazon video - when the sound is either extremely low or loud. Can compensate with volume control but would be better if it adjusted itself based on general settings.

CONSUMER REPORTS AND THE OTHER REVIEWERS ARE RIGHT. IF YOU HAVE THE CASH AND YOU WANT THE VERY BEST TV , THIS IS THE ONE . HD = GREAT, 4K=- EXCELLENT, 3D = AMAZING. . OLED AND 4K AN ABSOLUTE MUST !

While promises of the greatest picture were true, there is one glaring problem with this and all OLED televisions. Strong network logos on frequently viewed networks will permanently burn-in to the screen! Watching CNN or sports networks that have such logos will have a ghost image on all other stations/networks/DVDs. So how can that be fixed? Don't watch your favorite channels on this set. I purchased mine for the 3D capability and proceeded to buy thousands of dollars of DVDs mostly from Best Buy. Now I have a very expensive TV with a burned screen. This possibility was apparently known to the LG engineers and more than a few owners of OLED products. I can't understand why I wasn't warned that this might happen. So consider the fragility of this technology when deciding to purchase this set.

Excellent quality picture excellent 3D picture the HDR is amazing best TV set I ever had

The TV is off the hook, the 3D awesome, not yet experienced the full 4K advantages but will as soon as I get my hands on XBOX scorpio this winter. Sad to hear that this is last TV that combine OLED / 4K & 3D altogether.... A must own if you are into great tech.

This is my first 4K tv and I am greatly satisfied with this purchase. I had an LG tv that this set replaced as my media center. The picture quality is amazing and the sound is great. if you can afford the price, I believe the OLED display will outlast all other current ultra hd displays and prove to be the most future proof.

When I hooked this baby up to a source with 4K and HDR I was blown away by the picture quality. I also like LG's built in OS, which I surprisingly use for most of my streaming through Netflix and Amazon Prime.

great picture and sound easy to use remote control

This OLED TV has a most incredible picture! I was worried it might be too large (55") for the room it was going into but, no distortion and the absolute BEST picture. Great colors, very crisp & bright and easy to use widgets for all kinds of streaming opportunities. Get one!

Depth of Color is Striking. Separate Quality Sound System that is built in along the entire front base of 55" LG Oled 6E series can be full- blown/strong when required. Picture of regular TV programs filmed in Ultra such as Supergirl even without matching provider Cable (COX) capability have extremely well defined beautiful colors with great depth. When I watch movies on Netflix the picture is even better. I am well-satisfied with my purchase and very pleased that I splurged. Happily, the hefty price as well as Geek Service 5 yr.Contract were reduced by several hundred dollars using a Best Buy price match a month after purchase. It's up to the buyer to notify BB otherwise you won't get a lower price; so, it's well worth checking back frequently. I even considered exchanging for the larger 65" size but the $1500 difference between the two kept me in check. Every evening when I sit down to watch a movie and the Roku or Amazon Logos come on I am newly excited with my November purchase!

I am not a very fan of LG, I never purchase anything before, but when I saw the tv,, oled, high dynamic range and tested and knew that the price was reduced, I just fall in love with the quality, shape and price of this device, period.

I am very happy with the TV. However the instructions are dreadful. There is no straight forward manual that addresses individual features of the TV. Instead you have to follow a guide on the TV which is not intuitive at all and leads you down the wrong ally more often than not. Some features are not covered at all. Very frustrating and time consuming. Zero stars for that.

This is an excellent 4K TV; pictures is perfect and the included attached sound bar is better than expected. You can't beat the picture quality and getting one of the last 3D was just an added bonus

Beautiful tv. Colors pop. Blacks are black. Contrast is infinite. Super crisp.
