OLED is the way to go. Wait for a good sale and buy it

We are very impressed with the almost limitless options to adjust the settings. The absolute black feature is awesome. Watching a movie now is a totally new experience. We enjoy the automatic 3D feature as well. The screen size is perfect for our living room.

Easily the best TV I have ever owned and a huge upgrade over my 8 year old 1080p LCD set. Colors just pop off the screen and the blacks are truly black without a hint of gray. HDR content looks phenomenal even though there is not much of it at this point and 3D is way easier on the eyes than other sets which use an active 3D glasses. The built in soundbar is excellent as well for those who don't have another audio solution. This TV is also about as future proof as you can get with support for 4K and HDR. The TV itself looks stunning and is both shockingly thin and light. The only negatives I can think of are the price and the fact that it doesn't look like it could survive a 3 foot drop due to the "picture on glass" design. That's the price you pay for beauty and quality though. If you have the money buy this TV. If not check out one of the cheaper OLED models due out later this year. You wont be disappointed!

Appreciate the design of the OLED and the base sound system attached to the set which is a big improvement from prior models. Picture quality is outstanding and the solid glass construction is very appealing. I would highly recommend the 55 inch LG OLED. You will not be sorry.

This TV is simply amazing. If you know anything about picture quality you know that the black level is one of the most important factors on making a great picture. This TV puts any black level I have ever seen before to shame. OLED is the future and it is beautiful

Very gorgeous picture.. 4K video is especially vivid. Only drawback : very expensive.

Picture is fantastic, input lag is decent. 2 months in I already started to notice image retention that quickly turned to burn in, I thought well no problem I'll call and have it serviced or replaced. Nope, image retention and burn in are not covered under LG's one year warranty, I wonder why?! They know it's an issue and they're going to take your money anyway, and when you call to try and have something done about it they are going to tell you it's not covered. Item ight be ok if not playing video games, but I wouldn't be surprised to see channel overlays be burnt in either, do yourself a favor and stay away from this TV.

I'm in wonder over the vivid colors and highest definition viewing experience I've had in my entire viewing experience. I'm so glad I decided to purchase this particular brand with their OLEG patterned technology. The viewing pleasure is beyond terrific.

The sound and image are clear also the amount of free preinstalled channels is enough

The picture is truly amazing. Vivid colors and perfect black levels. The audio is excellent with the soundbar. You'll feel a theater experience.

I read all of the reviews from both the professionals and the consumers before deciding on this TV. I had to wait a year for the price to come down enough for me to be able to afford it. It was well worth the wait! We love it.

We selected this LG TV based on the recommendation of the sales associate, who sold us our home theatre 6 years ago. Honest and forthright about the pluses and minus. Gave us the information needed to make an intelligent decision. We enjoy watching this TV !! We also love the 3D capability and the ease in which we can use it !

My original anticipation was totally focussed on the great picture I read about and saw in the Magnolia Store. But I am equally impressed with the sound quality. If you can budget for it this is the best money can buy in 2016. I use this one in my Master Bedroom. The only thing better is the 65" I have in my family room.

I love this TV. However, beware that the factory setting is Eco mode. The Standard setting caused a soap opera effect. I am now using Game setting. It also has a great upscaler for old TV stuff.

Obviously an expensive TV . I spent a lot of time doing my homework and reading Online . This seems to be the best TV on the market today for picture quality . It has all the most advanced technological features . When connected to the Internet it will "update" automatically with he most current "firmware" . Mine is connected to a sound system with the same advanced technological features , with matching accessories such as proper HDMI cords . I have interconnected all units with the "arc" feature . If you have a cable TV box you also need to make the correct matching settings . Making the correct "settings" for all units is imperative . Once accomplished , with this quality TV , it doesn't get any better .

I'm an oldie that just upgraded from the box TVs. OMG, I don't deserve this. The technology is so far advanced, it makes everything else look outdated.

You can't compare it to any other 4K UHD TV's, the OLED is simply the best! I'm getting a bigger one for the Family room - waiting for a SALE!!!
