Man the picture quality on this tv is awesome!!!! I got it on sale for 1800 and for the price it blows everything else away. The black levels are so deep and rich. The contrast is great with vibrant colors. Best part though is the viewing angle you can literally sit anywhere in the room and get the same picture quality. I have my PS4 Pro and Xbox One S hooked up to this bad boy and the games really look breathtaking. If you can get this set for under 2 grand I would highly recommend it.

This tv has by far the best picture quality I've seen yet. I've finally found a true successor to the plasma tv I've used for the past 8 years. Amazing colors, perfect dark blacks, great contrast, and a variety of picture modes and other intelligent features. This tv has it all. No major complaints come to my mind. You'll get the best value out of this tv if you have high quality content to watch on it. 4kUHD looks incredible while standard network tv merely looks ok.

I've had my eye on OLEDs for a couple years now, but the cost was always too much of a deterrent. As soon as the 55" set hit $2000 I jumped on it to replace my broken LG LCD set from 2010.
The color and contrast are incredible. True blacks make watching movies at night fun and immersive. Most people do not watch a lot of 4K content, unless you watch YouTube or subscribe to Netflix's premium tier. 1080i and 1080p content looks great, and I certainly notice when I'm watching 720p (Fox etc). The only HDR content I've watched is on YouTube, but it's truly stunning. Football looks great on this set and the refresh rate causes no issues. I don't game, so I can't speak to the judder issue others have mentioned.
Simlply put, this is the best 55" TV you can buy today. Unfortunately the 65" set is still too expensive for me, so I feel like I made a bit of a sacrifice, as I could have scored the best 65" LED for less money than this set. Prices are coming down however, so hopefully that trend keeps up.

Amazing value for its cost. This TV provides a crisp 4K picture, deep rich colors, and dark blacks. LG's OLED 4K TV's are unmatched by competitors for contrast and clarity. Set up was easy with 4 HDMI inputs. Streaming 4K content was easy to come by with web apps like Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, and Vudu all built in.
Smart remote easily detected my other devices and provides seamless control of all my components.

This is my first oled tv i came from a panasonic plasma. I love the super blacks. Movies awesome, gaming spectacular, a little motion blur while watching some animated series family guy, american dad but none while watching anime. The magic remote is a nice feature. Wish the bezel what little there is was black to fully dissapear into the screen while watching with the lights on. On week 3 and no issues yet

Do what you need to to do to get this TV...donate a kidney if need be...worth every red cent. The depth and clarity is amazing and right out of the box only minimal changes need to be made. Hook up is a breeze, as long as you have some common knowledge of tv's and such. I can't speak for the sound quality since i have a 7.2 surround sound system. I love the remote with the pointer that pops up when you press a button on the remote to cycle through the various settings. I don't do any streaming through the tv directly either, i use my xbox one for that, but overall it's amazing watching F1 races are great and playing video games are as well can see so much more clearer than my 2009 Samsung LCD, not knocking the tv it was great for 7 years ago, but this this is amazing! This model does not have 3D, which I didn't want, so i cannot speak to that either...like i said completely worth it!!!

I read many online reviews before buying this TV, and all of them agreed that OLED was the best option. It's hard to tell in the store, but the picture is amazing. HDR is beautiful, but watching Daredevil in Dolby Vision makes every other TV I've ever seen look bland in comparison. I am a die hard Samsung fan, but I have zero regrets for buying this set!

So I bought this B6 for the bedroom (55") and I first bought the 55" E6 for living room that has built in soundbar. I paid $1800 for the B6 and $2,500 for the E6..both on sale around Holiday Season. To my surprise the B6 has the better picture...now I know they are supposed to have the exact same picture and design but they are different. The E6 has the picture on glass design and the B series has something different. Close in thickness but still thicker. Anyway go for the B series. It is breathtaking...honestly awesome! All the reviews are spot on! Don't even shop for another tv. Nothing even comes close to this. I had also purchased the Sony 930D 55" before the LG B6 55". Sony is OK but audio is poor ( that is being kind) as compared to the LG. The LG B6 is superior in so many ways including the Magic remote which makes toggling between Netflix, Amazon, and Cable seemless. Also this tv is Netflix approved and has a superior processor. The remote alone makes this a winner and not many people make mention of that. The Sony is like going back in time to switch between media sources. Anyways...a perfect TV for today. Im sure they will keep improving...but it's hard to conceive it getting any better than this!

I love this tv. The colors and the blacks are great. The details with black is great. While watching ESPN sports center I can see individuals hairs in beards and the sweat too when watching interviews. Motion for Sports is good too, very smooth. I used AVS forums settings for a dark room and they seem to work well.
I use the tv for streaming and it is not connected to cable. I use Fire TV, Apple TV and the LG apps. I watch programs and movies through Netflix DIRECTV Now, amazon Prime and Sling tv. Detail in HD programs is amazing I especially like how Sports and action movies are processed.
The remote is interesting but I am a generation too old to appreciate it. It is a lot like using a Nintendo Wii, but I prefer to mash buttons the old fashion way.
If you can afford this tv buy it. It has received high marks on most review sites and I agree with their reviews.

Well every TV sales person I spoke with wherever I went said LG makes the best OLED TVs on the market. This is a $3K TV at MSRP so i definitely needed a deal. This is replacing the same size Samsung plasma in the main viewing room so I really couldn't scrimp on quality. The LCD and LED TVs just can't compare to a plasma so it had to be an OLED and it had to be an LG. When I fired it up right out of the box the picture was impressive. After I went through the settings adjusting a few things according to my audio video geek coworker, it was even better. I downloaded a few 4K demo videos onto a flash drive and played them and let me tell you my mind was fully blown. The color saturation, the balance, the resolution, and the blacks were just astounding. It almost looked 3-dimensional. Even with bright light coming through the windows the picture does not get washed out. At this point I'm going to go ahead and say this is better than the plasma on all counts. It's worth the money at the normal discounted price of $2,400 but if you can manage to wait until a big sale than the value is even sweeter.

Absolutely amazing on all levels. I was constantly annoyed by motion blur in LED TV's - even the ones claiming to reduce it. This eliminates motion blur. Colors are really lifelike. Detail with 4k content is amazing... But this makes even 1080p content look great.

This is a great tv but to get it you have to pay top dollar. The picture is fantastic. Colors are vibrant and blacks are unbelievable. The only reason for four stars is there are no real user instruction for the remote and how to use it. Secondly the sound is not that good for what you pay. I definitely will need to get a sound bar. Both of these things are minor though. I purchased this for $1799 during Black Friday week so I am very happy with my purchase.

Everything written about the quality of the picture is true. While a plasma TV has a slightly different "look", the LG OLED is plasma's equal in overall excellence - and none of plasma's heat output.
There are moments when a certain program will almost feel 3D, as though one is looking through a window. There are other high-quality screens on the market, but I'm glad I chose OLED.
One caution: three weeks after purchase, a black line appeared on my screen. I returned my first purchase and made a point of getting insurance for my replacement. This can happen with any LED TV, so consider purchasing protection. I've had the replacement for two months now with no problems and many hours of enjoyment.

I have had this tv for about a month now and ill just say wow. the images are sharp, true to the source material. and there is no motion blur even with image processing turned off. my only gripe is that it sits very low (the actual image being displayed) so the center speaker on my stand is in the way of the bottom 2 inches. nothing against the tv. just depending on your setup you may be better off mounting it on the wall. btw measuring from the stand to the tv image (not the frame of the tv) is about 2.5 " so you may want to keep that in mind if you have a similar setup.

This tv is amazing. First the picture is just astonishing. It is bright and the most impressive part is the dark pictures. I can finally see all the dark scenes that were washed out before. I purchased Star Trek Beyond through the tv and it was stunning. I was constantly in awe of the picture.
The remote is equally awesome. The ability to point to select things makes it much easier and quicker to use. Especially when you are signing into all the different accounts that are used to watch shows. This makes it very easy and quick to do.
Overall I love this tv and personally think it's worth the money if you are looking to upgrade to 4k.

Needed a new TV, as my old one didn't have any hdmi inputs. Went looking superbowl weekend for the deals and spent time talking to reps and checking out picture quality on various makes and models. I was very impressed with the blacks and colors on the LG oled TV's (my old TV was also LG and was still running strong after 12 years). Got a great deal with superbowl price breaks. After using it for a few months now, I think 1 of the things that I like best is the user interface with the remote. It has an accelerometer that allows you to point and click selections on the smart TV, much better than having to use the up-down-left-right cursor buttons. My wife was using unsure of making the purchase, but was soon totally out board with all the great features.

This is the best TV you can buy. The contrast is almost infinite thanks to the perfect black the pixels can create. The uniformity is perfect thanks to the TV's ability to control of each individual pixel. The fact that it can do both HDR10 and DolbyVison is a serious value. 4 HDMI ports, awesome. For the gamers out there, unless you play a game where milliseconds make the difference between victory and defeat, seriously don't sweat the lag time. They've also corrected this so it's on par with most 4k TVs. The only other TV that comes close is Samsung's top model with their Quantum Dot tech, high brightness and low lag time. However, those are not major breakthroughs - it's like comparing apples and oranges. The LG OLED is an entirely new type of TV.

I recently had the Samsung ks8000 and moved up to this. Biggest reason for me was the light bleed when the room was dark and the viewing angles other than head on were bad. This TV fixes all of that and gives you what plasma does but with more detail. If you use directv it still is not the best feed and some shows or movies will upscale better than others, you will not see a huge lift there. Online gaming is not quite as good as far as lag, Samsung was the best there, but it is still decent and playable. Mostly first person shooters is where you can tell a difference. I don't think I will ever be going back to an LED, this feels much more premium and I prefer the blacks and richer colors without the washed out look at times.

Very nice TV overall. Great picture and good sound. It was NOT difficult to set up. LG controls are clear and easy to use. Price-matched at 2k but then not eligible for Best Buy delivery. . .
