Having previously owned a 60 inch LED unit from another brand, I thought that I had a pretty good TV picture until I purchased this TV. The contrast and black levels on the LG OLED sets are the best I've ever seen. The level of detail Is phenomenal. Definitely recommend!

It was time to replace a 10 year old Sony Bravia LED TV and I chose this one, based on reviews and the knowledge that while a "new and improved model" would be out within months, this model would be awesome and about a grand less. i was right. I did the set up by myself. To be honest, the hardest part was unboxing and putting the stand on correctly, and I found a video online that walked me through that. The rest was easy - guided by the "magic" remote (they could lose that "bird" character, imho) and having just a few components to add: blu-ray, VCR, sound bar. I decided to use ethernet as opposed to wireless for internet as the equipment was right there. The picture out of the box was great. I read up on calibration and decided to wait a couple of months before messing around with that. It's a beautiful TV. I have noticed that there is about a $500 price range on this set from Best Buy; I got it for 1999 plus tax.

The best 4K TV you can get for the money. True, deep blacks and great colors. No light bleeding like on LED TVs. Easy to use interface for settings and inputs.

I read the consumer reviews, CNET, consumer reports, etc. and waited for a good sale. What a fabulous picture with HDTV alone. I'm very happy with black level performance versus LED TV's. The colors really pop. I can't wait until I play 4k content on this TV.

I love this tv. The picture is incredibly real. I was going to get a Samsung but they were all just abnormally bright to me. This tv has perfect blacks and crystal clear picture. The interface is easy to use and very smooth as well. Worth the extra money.

Beautiful picture - the black levels are simply stunning and don't even compare to any other set. Additionally, the thin bezel make for a truly wonderful picture. Add in all the great built-in features (smart remote, LG apps) and this is an amazing item.

Love the great celerity and color. Still learning to navigate the remote and TV settings and such. Unhappy with LG customer service agent when we called for assistance in combining the TV with our Bose Soundbar and components. This after Bose got us connected but needed LG to talk us thru getting the sound off the TV. Agent spoke rudely when we told him we could not find the buttons to push that he was saying were on the control. While they were there, they were not labeled as he stated and needed further clarification . Once we got his part done we still had a problem that he redirected us back to Bose. Our new Bose agent walked us back thru the TV settings and corrected what the LG agent had told us to change and the whole problem was corrected. But still like the TV just need to trial and error untill we learn the remote and settings.

I previously owned a Samsung which was painstakingly after 3 months junked out under warranty. This is the tv I'd wanted a year ago but just couldn't justify spending the money. This picture blows my plasma I have away. The colors are truly amazing and realistic unlike the other tvs out there that look fake because of software used to achieve vibrancy. I also get to put my sound bar on the Samsung in the basement now because there's no need. I actually find myself turning this tv down! The speakers are remarkable compared to any other I've heard. The only drawback is that the screen is SO thin that unpacking and attaching the stand created a bit of anxiety!!

I love this TV. The richness of color is unparalleled. The picture is absolutely sharp and beautiful. I am truly happy with the choice I made to go with the OLED tech from LG. It far surpasses any image I have ever had in my home theatre.

I did a lot of research before selecting the LG OLED. I wanted a great picture and no motion blur. I haven't been disappointed. The picture is amazing and the black level is great. Sports looks great on this TV. I would recommend to anyone.

We purchased this TV to replace our 10-year-old 50" Sony LCoS. I always liked the picture on that set, but the picture on the LG B6 is brighter and sharper, with inky blacks and great colors. We are also big fans of the webOS 3.0 interface; apps are very responsive, and the Wii-like remote generally works very well for shuffling through apps/inputs. Not long after buying this TV, we purchased a Samsung LCD Smart TV for the bedroom. That TV also has a nice picture and Smart TV functionality, but the LG is significantly better in both picture and app/input access. One concern I had about the LG was sound quality, as our old Sony TV had big speakers on the sides. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the speakers on the LG. I am no audiophile, but I saw (heard) no need to add a soundbar or anything like that.

I came to this TV from a 2010 Panasonic plasma. I have never been a fan of LCD/LED sets and hoped to hang on to the plasma a while longer. But it had begun to fail one column of pixels at a time and I decided it was time to look for a replacement. My criteria were basically the same as for my previous plasmas; no motion artifacts with live sports, good off axis picture brightmess, excellent color rendition, good black level contrast. I went to BB to compare sets and was blown away by the LG OLEDs. The set is better than plasma and LED in every way. Brightness was a surprise for me. It's more comparable to LED than to plasma. And the TV is actually quite good looking as well. The bezel is about 1/2 inch all around and the set is only about 1/4 inch thick from about halfway on up. When you look at it from the front all you see is screen. Electronics and speakers are in back on the bottom half and are a couple inches in depth. The only issue I have with it are some of the smart TV Apps. Amazon Prime will lock up the TV if left in pause for more than a few moments(requiring the TV to be reset) and Netflix will sometimes freeze up while playing. It has both Dolby Vision and HDR10. 4K DV is incredible. Easily the best picture i have ever seen on a TV. If you have the money and want the best picture you can now get, this Is the TV.

I researched for months and finally decided to go with OLED and this LG met all my requirements and has exceeded my expectations. Excellent upgrade of non 4K format and the 4K viewing is beyond what I thought possible under $5000. The on screen menus are easy to use after very little practice and the many options for picture and sound quality adjustment are effective. The blacks... are BLACK! When listening to Pandora, for example, the screen saver kicks in after a few minutes. If not for the fireworks displays that appear periodically, you would not know the TV is on. When watching an old sitcom in standard 4:6 format the black edges are unnoticeable. I cannot recommend this product enough. I have friends with 4k LED and the picture quality is definite and stark. Worth every extra penny!

From the time we turned this TV on it was clear we picked the best. The picture is crisp and clear. Color is tremendous and it is easy to use. 4K viewing is amazing, feels like you are on location. Pricey, but worth the spend.

After much research on multiple brands of TV, this was the absolute clear winner! Crystal clear. Absolute blacks which is crucial for color quality. Unbelievably amazing! I appreciate it every single time that I watch TV!

In my opinion, this TV along with it's 65 inch variant are the best televisions money can buy. OLED is superior, there is really no arguing that. I will say that the TV looked better running the optimized store demos then it does watching normal 4K content. If cable service was provided in 4K that would be great. 4K streaming and disc based content looks exceptional. The TV remote can be used like a Nintendo Wii remote in some regards. You simply point at the screen to make selections. The TV is fast and has a good processor. However, if you are not going to be running a lot of 4K video or games, you can get away with a normal Samsung/ LG/ Sony 4K LED TV. In closing, if you are looking to add the best TV that money can buy to your home theater, you've found it.

I been watching this tv for about 2 months. The more I watch it the better I like it. At times the picture is so sharp I can see the makeup and wrinkles on news reporters. Color is brilliant and black is best I seen on a tv. Other tv I have are older pioneer elite plasma tv and new Sony xbr75x940d. If I could afford a larger screen LG OLED I would have purchased it. No regrets or buyers remorse.

Purchased during black Friday of 2016 and I must say I haven't experienced any issues. Screen looks immaculate and I am upgrading from a Panasonic plasma television. The darkest black pictures I've ever witnessed. I have black out curtains and when I tell you cannot see any glare it's like where is the tv awesome!!! Set up in the bedroom and mounted on the wall. Only con would be volume not as loud as it should be but for me I am using a Panasonic sound bar. So if your going to use one it won't be an issue. I also registered with LG and purchased the 3 year extended warranty this is a pricey purchase for me. For now definitely will purchase LG OLED's for other areas of the home when I am able to do so.
