This TV is amazing. Watching content or playing games in 4K HDR is hands down the best experience I've ever had with a TV.

Even though most digital providers DO NOT support 4K transmissions and for many buyers their experience will be a grave disappointment. However, 4K rendering is outstanding when streaming 4K or HDR content from Netflix... their are a few others. Regardless, this OLED is definitely what TV viewing should be. For providers of 4K content, the race is on!! What is not discussed by C|NET or anyone else in rating a 4K system is the quality and interoperability of the apps accompanying the system.

Bought this tv looking for something smaller for my bedroom. Was heavily undecided between this one and its 3d curved screen counterpart. Picture quality is amazing with super smooth movement. Previous tv was a 240hz refresh led. Difference is massive. Was also unsure about smart tv capabilities. Turns out i use the smart capabilities all the time. Saves me from having to turn on my xbox, apple tv, or roku. Makes it super convenient. Am very happy with the tv, albeit it was a bit pricey.

I recently purchased the LG OLEG 55" TV to replace an older Samsung. The picture is really nice. I also purchased a Bose soundbar as the salesman stated that the newer TVs do not have the nice clarity sound that the older TVs do. Anyway, this combination gives us the picture and sound that we were looking for. The only downside is that we have to use another remote to turn the soundbar on and off since ATT couldn't get the soundbar to work on the same cable remote as the TV.

You've heard all the gushing about the picture and it is really nice. My only objection is that it does not view well during the day when nearby windows pour light in the room. It is very hard to see detail when scenes are dark. I am trying to differentiate between the oled capability which is great for contrast and color, vs 4K in general. I can't really tell any difference between 4K and non4k sources, except when viewing utube demo videos. Sound is about average. No room for a sound bar, so just using built in speakers. We still CC for a lot of shows, but it could be we are just getting old. A little spendy, but gives me bragging rights.

I've used several of the smart TV functions - YouTube; Amazon; Netflix, all with the 4K UHD and the picture is amazing. My wife was skeptical at first but has even been impressed with the difference from our previous 1080p LCD screen we upgraded from. I found this one to have truer color compared to some of the other OLED/QLED on display in the store and have been very pleased with this purchase. My only compliant was I only got the 55" instead of the 65".

Nearly three months after our new LG OLED TV arrived at our home, we're more satisfied than ever. The vivid colors and sharp contrasts produced by the deep, true blacks that this screen can display are mind-blowing, especially in comparison to the same programming viewed on the perfectly OK non-OLED screen of our prior "main" TV. And, even in our relatively bright living room, every seat in the house is a fine viewing location. Try it - you'll love it!

Satisfied with both clarity and color. Originally ordered and received a SUHD Samsung. Was told it would be close to my plasma in color clarity and depth. Wrong! I returned that TV, and Purchased the LD OLED. Although smaller at 55", The results are as close to the Plasma as is possible, without it being a plasma TV. Worth the $600 difference by a long way. Awesome television. Bought a Vizio M series before this because it was less expensive and had good reviews but didn't get that wow factor I was looking for so I returned it and got this one. I am in no way dissapointed and it was worth every extra penny I paid for it, this had the wow factor I was looking for in a 4k TV. Even 1080p movies look amazing on this TV. Be sure to turn off Tru Motion for regular stuff, makes anime look awesome.

Replaced 10 plus year old Pioneer Elite Plasma. Picture is bright and crisp after customizing settings for myself. 4K content, while limited, from Netflix and Amazon Prime looks superb. My biggest surprise is the sound from the speakers is pretty darn loud and bright. Much much better than most built in speakers. It is nice option when you don't want to turn on the full surround sound and blow out the entire house. Highly recommend.

The sales person really persuaded us with this particular TV. I didn't want to spend the money when there were so many good options out there for much cheaper. But in the end, the picture was just so much better, we couldn't ignore the difference. My only complaint has been that sometimes when there is a lot of motion, the image lines seems to get a bit wobbly. But after a while I stopped noticing it so much. Still happy with the choice.

Average Cable Reception - Best on Antenna

This TV is only average over cable, but it is NOT the TV's fault. Cable only sends a picture at 720 HZ so any HDTV's full capability is wasted. Sports are unbelievable on antenna, but just average on cable. Old color movies like West Side Story or even Cat Ballou simply pop out of the screen over-the-air, but not on cable. If you buy this TV, make sure you get a quality antenna with rotary motor. You will not regret it.
