After researching OLED televisions for some time I purchased this 2016 model to replace a 4K Samsung TV. The picture is hands down better than LCD with no banding during dark scenes. Use John Wick UHD blue ray as a test to compare. Vibrant colors. Bought 2016 model because it still has 3D which is gone for 2017. Pros - True Black, supports both Dolby and HDR10, passive 3D Cons- Not quite as bright as Samsung LED, Audio is poor, Samsung smart connect box has more inputs and is more convenient. This is an excellent TV and you won’t be sorry, just buy a sound bar with it for audio.

The C6, and all of LG's OLED models easily generate the best picture on the market. The colors are super rich, and the TV gets plenty bright enough. I was hesitant about the curve at first, but honestly, it is not even noticeable in everyday use. Excellent TV, and if you can grab it before it is gone, you will also get one of the last 3D-capable sets out there. I am a 3D skeptic, maybe even hater, but on this TV, 3D is awesome! If you are at all interested in a 3D TV, then you really need to look at the LG OLEDS. Minor complaints: The reason for four stars a couple minor complaints. One, the bezel is a very reflective silver and is very shiny if there is any light on it. It's annoying. I am think of using tape to cover it. The other complaint is the placement of the inputs. Most of them are on the side, meaning the cords may be visible at certain angles. These two minor design flaws come nowhere near being dealbreakers. LG OLEDs are by far the best TV on the market unless you are on a strict budget or need the extra brightness of an LCD display.

This is an Oled so what can I say? We also have a 1080p LG Oled and this 4k version is gorgeous! This is the truest blacks you'll see on any TV display. My husband and I are gamers and we have both Oleds side by side. I love the fact that it still has 3d. We have a ton of 3d movies. The curved screen is not a gimmick. You can see the screen well from any angle in the room. I highly recommend this TV if you are ready to upgrade to 4k! The colors are amazing and LG makes the highest-quality sets in my opinion.

The most advanced and elegant display that I ever owned. The image quality, colors and black are hypnotizing and the 3D blows me away. Automatically detect 3D signals and HDR Dolby vision content via streaming services and Blu Ray players. You can even select HDR effect for non HDR content. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

This TV is truly amazing. Yes it is expensive. I happened to get it while it was on sale but it still puts a large dent in your wallet. If you are a freak about picture quality, like to watch a lot of movies, and have the money, this is the TV you should seriously consider. OLED technology allows for sharper contrasts and a clearer picture. Even my satellite programming looks better (even though it's highly compressed.) But you really should by this TV is you are a movie buff. Get yourself a 4K Blu Ray player and you will never want to go to a theater again. I spent all weekend watching movies on this beast and I couldn't have been more impressed. There are a lot of great features on this TV and if you are a PQ nut like me, there are tons of expert settings for adjusting the picture. I have a FireTV that I use for all of my streaming, however, in playing with the WebOS smart features, they are fast and smooth. The Magic Remote is nice and responsive. I highly recommend this TV is you can afford it. I just hope it holds up for a while. Hands down the best TV I've ever owned.

I didn't know which TV I was going to get after doing hours of research I went to the store to view the LG and the Sony 3d TV. Both were the same price, but the LG was 6" smaller, but had a curved screen. After viewing both, it was an easy decision, the LG with the curved screen and OLED had a much crisper and vivid picture. After watching the TV for a few weeks now, and playing multiple 3d movies, I have to say, I LOVE IT! The picture is the best I have ever seen, the 3d is awesome and it's the perfect size. I read on multiple sights that a curved TV doesn't really add much unless it's larger then this one, but I can tell the difference and love it. My former tv was a Samsung Plasma witch died after only 4 years and this TV blows away the picture, sound, and 3d experience. The picture is amazing and the detail is unbelievable, and it's connection to the internet is much better then I expected.

Well...this is why I don't play the lottery! No matter how good my odds are, I can't seem to win. I purchased this TV from Best Buy on February 14th at a great price ($2,000) brand new (not open box) since the day I purchased it, there was a temporary price drop (it's now back up to $2,300. as of this writing). The picture blew me away and the blacks simply cannot be matched by any other screen technology. I mean...total blackout with zero light when the scene calls for total darkness. This was the primary reason I spent the extra money for OLED. But I regret to report that as of March 1st, 2017 (only 2 weeks after purchasing this TV brand new)...I noticed an image that seemed burned into the screen while watching a Netflix show in 4K. I assumed maybe it was a Netflix streaming issue so I decided to switch to a live broadcast channel. And sure enough...the image remained on the screen. Then the TV started to go crazy hopping from one input to the next. My TiVo is attached to HDMI1 so I pulled out the HDMI from that input and plugged it back in and then the input issue seemed to work fine. But whenever I would change the input to one without a connection the 'Open Input List' banner would appear on the bottom on the screen (as it should) and this is where the image was very visible. As I continued watching programs the image would sometimes be very noticeable and at times not so noticeable. But make no mistake...the image was always there so this TV is going back! I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. Take another chance on this TV (OLED is the latest, newest and most unproven screen tech.) or try to get the best LED I can get for the same or slightly below cost. Attached are pics I took of this image. One during Netflix and the other during the 'Open Input List?' banner on the bottom of the TV. You will only see the bottom portion of this pattern on the 'Open Input List' banner image but it is much more obvious on the Netflix screen. It looks awful and I have no idea what this is or how this happened since the TV sits in my bedroom, has never been moved and has not been bumped, hit, etc. Hopefully this is a one in a million defect and if I give this TV another shot, I won't have this happen again! Bought this after seeing it in the store. Got a great price on Black Friday. It has not disappointed. With 4K content it's amazing with 1080p looks really good. I read a lot of reviews and the manual and real testing. I went for the C6 bc I wanted 3D. The pic is fantastic. LG makes a great OLED I've connected 4K Roku, Xbox one s, and a Yamaha YSP-2700 sound bar. It's a great setup and while it doesn't have a lot of apps on its store, the motion browser remote works really well. Browser is strong. I'd say buy it went it's on sale but I'm convinced OLED is real deal, like plasma. If watch Netflix and Amazon in the UHD features u will be pleased.

The quality of the image on this TV is stunning. When I put on the 4K UHD disc of Planet Earth II, it showed astonishing levels of detail, down to tiny feathers on the smallest birds, and a wide range of deep, rich colors. The 3D effects when I watch discs like Doctor Strange and Star Wars: The Force Awakens is also exemplary. Black levels are terrific -- nighttime scenes in Moana, for example, are tack sharp, with bright stars standing out distinctly from the deep black sky, and old black-and-white movies like Night of the Hunter also look like film. The curve in the screen is very slight, and doesn't distort the image at all, even when viewing it from an angle. That was my one concern at first, but it turned out to be a non-issue. This is, hands down, the best TV I've ever owned.

Put quite simply, this is the best TV I have ever owned. Gone are the days of mediocre black levels, clouding, flashlighting, and all of the other problems inherent to today's slim TVs. LG's OLED technology is light years ahead of even the best regular LCD/LED sets on the market today. Fans of 3D should take special notice - with 3D TVs becoming harder to find, this is arguable the best 3D-enabled TV ever made. Black levels are perfect. Since there is no backlight and no edge lights, pixels are essentially autonomous and illuminate only when needed. Areas of the screen that are meant to be black appear as true black and do not appear grey or washed out like edge-lit panels. Watch a movie like 'Gravity' or the opening scroll in 'Star Wars' to see the difference. Objects like stars and spaceships stay brightly illuminated, while the deep black of space stays perfectly black. Such perfect black levels mean that overall contrast is superb. Colors are extremely vibrant and appear to pop off the screen. Overall, the picture quality is just stunning. You really have to see it to believe it. This OLED set has given new life to my Blu-ray collection. I can't wait to re-watch some of my favorite films knowing that I'll be viewing them in arguably the best possible picture quality. You won't find a TV that handles 3D better than this. Two pairs of passive glasses are included. Thanks to the 4K resolution of the TV, each eye received a full 1080p image when watching 3D content. It's a shame that LG is moving away from 3D support, as this is truly the pinnacle of the technology. Setting up the TV is a breeze. The paper-thin design of the TV is truly a work of art that will become the centerpiece of any room. The TV's operating system (WebOS) is just as beautiful. No longer will you have to trudge through the depths of confusing menus and settings. Everything you need is nicely and colorfully laid out on the bottom of your screen, easily accessed by pressing the "Home" button on the "magic remote." The initial set-up screen was able to program the magic remote to work almost seamlessly with my TiVo Roamio. The TV's built-in speakers are certainly adequate for a smaller room, but I'd recommend at least a sound bar and a decent subwoofer to really bring your content to life. OLED is the future. There's no escaping it. And for me, there's no going back. This is unquestionably the finest TV I have ever seen. And if you want the complete package -- 3D, 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, etc. -- you'd better act fast before these 2016 models disappear.

This is quite simply the best TV I have ever purchased. I hesitated because of the curve on it but I barely notice it. Most important for me is that it upscales regular channels and hd content very well. It can also get very bright so that you can control the dark scenes and not get areas that are lost in darkness. There are lost of settings to play with in order to get the perfect picture but I most say, out of the box, its almost perfect. The packaging is superb and the TV is very light. Make sure to lift the box off and then lift the TV from the bottom and place it on the assembled stand. There is the potential to bend it at the top. The software can be updated online or via a USB download from LG.com. Below are some features I have thoroughly enjoyed for the past 2 weeks. HDR and Dolby Vision: This TV is capable of HDR10 and DV. Plug in your device, go to settings and make sure that your input is in "deep colour mode". It will recognize an HDR signal from your device (PS4 and Xbox One S). It even has an HDR game mode (and the input lag is great, gaming online in this mode is very possible). Apps on the TV recognize HDR and DV programming too. WEB OS 3.0: This has got to be the smoothest smart TV interface I have ever come across. It never freezes and its apps work. The magic remote is also revolutionary. The mouse is pin point accurate and if you do not feel like mousing over the menu, you can switch to the tried and trusted method. Dark Scenes: I tried Sony's X930D. It had a lot of clouding that bled through dark scenes (especially outer space movies like star trek). This TV does dark scenes very well but not in a way that would merge dark colours into other dark colours. You can distinctly tell different dark/shaded objects apart. 3D: The 3D is brilliant! I never thought much of 3D but this TV does it very well. It can even turn 2D movies/show to 3D. Cons: There can be some HDMI handshake issues with my PS4 PRO. Sometimes you get a dark screen when switching from 3D to non-3D and I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. I may need to do some research on this issue. I highly recommend this TV.

I purchased this TV a month ago (display model at that) and I have to tell you that this model is everything that's been advertised and more. The black levels are unmatched, the crystal clear 4k picture is to die for and the HDR when gaming on my Xbox One S along with watching Netflix, DTV, etc. is worth the purchase alone. I got the 5 year protection plan and am loving this TV as I also have a Vizio p55 and stayed away from Samsung as all 9 open-box TV's were Samsung (which should tell you something). YOU WILL LOVE THIS TV AND IT'S MANY FEATURES SUCH AS 3D, 2D TO 3D CONVERSION, 4K with HDR 10, MAGIC REMOTE, ETC.!!!

I can't say enough about what an incredible picture this TV has! I know that It's just a bit more expensive than LED TVs but trust me when I say that it's worth the extra money. Every type of signal looks amazing including satellite, Xbox One, PS4, and UHD Blu-ray with HDR. 3d is awesome. Picture is awesome. OLED is awesome. Picture does need some tweeking at first, all do. Going through all the picture setting was great lots of options. I will admit was nervous about curved, i wanted 3d and only comes on curved screen, nothing wrong with it, doesnt do anything negative or positive its just curved. This tv is bright, and i mean bright, looks great. Blacks look great, colors look great, and whites look great. Been lg fan for long time for my tv's and wont be changing any time soon. Magic remote is great, web os is great. 1 complaint is hdmi ports, i have ps4, xbox, cable, and blue ray upscaler 3d player. Thats 4, so ya little disturbed.

I must say this is the absolute best TV I've ever put my eyes on. It's very hard to watch tv on a back lit LED tv after owning an OLED. The 4k and HDR settings are phenomenal, but I was very surprised how great 3D looks on this tv. The only flaw of this TV at the moment is input lag from video game systems. Games that run at 4K when the tv is set to game mode are fine, but if you run on the HDR setting you will encounter noticeable lag. LG has stated they are working on this but we will see. Except for that one flaw they have mostly future proofed this TV for many years with Dolby Vision and HDR 10. I would recommend this TV over any other for viewing media, gaming however may be a deal breaker for some.

One of the main reasons I decided on this model was it's ability to display 3D. All of the TV manufacturers have discontinued 3D in all but a few models. There were cheaper options but I am so glad I paid the extra for an OLED. It is definitely worth it. The picture quality is amazing!

I watch a lot of TV and this is simply the best that I've seen. Some people might put this TV down because it doesn't get as bright as most, but watching this in a dark room just how deep the blacks are and how good the contrast ratio is. When brights come against dark backgrounds, it's eye-searing, especially with HDR. So if you have the bread, get the TV and let it speak for itself because the in store demos aren't enough.

I was on the fence between this tv and the Sony xbr 900e and 930e, also the Samsung KS8000. I found this tv on sale open box and must say I am completely satisfied with this tv. The blacks are pure and has great color. 3D was a bonus and works well. The input lag and image retention was a concern, but I have noticed none of these issues. If your on the fence, go for it.
