For 2 years, deep pitch black, super contrast, amazing HDR coloration, might be the last great 3D TV ever produced. Worth every single penny.

I can not say enough about this TV. I was very happy with my 10 year old Sony SXRD. Rear projection, but this TV blew it out of the water. The 3D functionality is really good in my opinion, I have no 4K source material yet, but the upgrade feature is incredible on everything Xbox 360 games look completely different, and even a couple of my old original Xbox games look great too. Blu-Ray is phenomenal and DVD looks great too. I can’t even imagine what an actual 4K signal would look like. If you are on the fence, this TV is worth the extra few hundred dollars.

TV meets all my expectations, 4 star picture and easy set up. Smart TV with easy interaction with Netflix and Amazon. Would buy this TV again. No regrets.

I love this tv!! The picture quality is absolutely amazing! The angle of the curve is perfect and the picture can be seen from anywhere in the room.

The realism of the picture is truly astounding. It's like being in the picture. Colors are vibrant with great contrast. Even good from a side angle.

The sharpness and color on this tv is off the charts. It's absolutely beautiful. I actually didn't want a curved screen originally buy opted for it over the flat due to 3d capability. Very glad I did. The curve is barely noticeable except for adding some depth and it actually cuts down dramatically on the amount of glare we were getting on our previous tv. Couldn't be happier.

The quality on this tv is great! The colors are vivid and pictures are very clear. It is very easy to navigate and everyone in the family loves it!

Wow this tv is awesome. Picture looks fantastic even on regular HD picture. 4K movies are jaw dropping. 3D is Fantastic. Highly recommend

I bought this open box, but it was just perfect. The picture is amazing. The 3D is like being in a theatre and was a bonus I hadn't expected.

I'm a big proponent of OLED Technology as I favor movies and content that have a lot of darkness in them. By contrast, colors pop like no other TVs. This is most obvious in a dark room and with special effects content. a good example is in video games and in content with CGI. For example, in Stranger Things when the character Eleven is the upside down and encounters the Demogorgon. Her surrounding are completely black and the scene is truly stunning. The curve isn't very noticeable and I do feel like it adds a little depth to what I'm watching.

Honestly an amazing and crisp picture. When I read the black was a darker true black, they were right. This television is worth the investment.

THis TV replaced a Samsung 65" 8500 series that was too bright and too big for my distance of 9 ft from the couch. I am glad we ended up with 55" OLED. If you watch mainly comcast cable and non HD source OLED gives you the best picture. Non HD, mainly SD source we watch looked horrible on LED Samsung, grainy and out of shape. LG OLED looks so much better, almost like HD source. Also, the cable signal looks so much better. We don't watch much of BlueRay or gaming consoles. If you spend time to caliber your LG OLED, it will reward you with a great picture, beyond any tv out there. Here are my settings:Expert Dark Room: OLED 85, contract 85, brightness 45, Dynamic Contrast Low, Gamma 2.4. Color Temperature BLUE, any other adds too much yellow dimmed tint. TruMotion: User, both options 3-3. The rest you can leave off. These settings will give you sharp and bright picture for typical cable TV viewing. Your BluRay or PlayStation will require different settings as each source shows its own signal quality, but you can save it for each source. It took me about 2-3 weeks of poking and adjusting to get a proper brightness out of this TV. Any other settings calibration I found online made that set dark and yellowish, not sure why folks like such viewing conditions. Hope that helps.

I had a Samsung SUHD TV that had an awesome picture, but Unfortunatley, I had a number of issues with the TV that ultimately led to having to return it. It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me. One look at the new LG OLED TV and I was hooked. I got it home and set it up and I was blown away again by the phenomenal pictures. So lifelike it seems like the actors or TV News are right in my living room. Sounds trite, but I am not kidding. Unbelievable image quality - regardless of source. 4k Images are breathtaking. Movies, Broadcast TV, You Tube Videos, whatever I watch is simply amazing. The quality of OLED is truley second to none. Consumer Reports rated this TV as one of the BEST TV's avaialble today - and I would have to agree. Yes, it costs a little bit more - but personally I think it is worth it. Do yourself a favor - GET ONE!

I was originally considering a Samsung Ultra HD tv, but after comparing them side by side I felt the picture quality of the OLED was better, and for me it was worth the extra cost. 4K HD movies, Netflix and gaming look spectacular. Unfortunately, most cable programming is not in 4K yet, and on such a big tv you can really tell the difference switching from a 4K movie to regular television. However, if you are looking for the best picture quality without spending at the very high end, this TV should not disappoint.

In a nutshell, nothing compares to the picture on this tv. Nothing. Absolutely breathtaking in standard and 3D mode. No negatives.

I do love this TV, the color scale is truly amazing! The magic remote is a nice touch and very easy to use. The picture quality is top notch and the unit itself is ultra thin. The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars was the price of the unit. Overall a good unit made by LG.

Was watching this come down in price finally decided to purchase. The HDR feature really makes a difference and pictures look like 3D

Absolutely love this ULTRA HD TV. We purchased for the curve and 3D capacity and it did not disappoint!
