My previous TV was a Sony Bravia from 2007ish. Still works and besides a few broken pixel from a rage quit moment was fine for me. Was never a fan of smart TVs. They always felt too intrusive. But getting back into gaming and building a decent PC. Figured it was time to let my games shine. After watching some videos this felt like the perfect TV that can work as a PC monitor for big screen gaming. And it is. Dedicated gaming mode is nothing new but it makes switching from streaming shows and movies to gaming a quick snap. My favorite part is that the "smart" aspects of the TV have yet to feel targeted. Only personalization it recommended was to move my most used apps to faster access areas. Doesn't feel like it's spying on me. Just working behind the screen to balance quality of what I'm watching. One complaint is that it can be too bright. Not in blown out way. As someone who likes to sleep with something in the background, even dark things glow a bit extra because of the way these pixels work. Will be the go to when replacing the rest of the household tvs

I am happy with my purchase. The picture is crisp and clear, the remote is easy to use and has several "shortcut" buttons that make it easier to access the apps (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and the LG channels). The speakers are satisfactory but we did connect a sound bar which makes the sound even better. I would recommend this tv.

Don’t let the previous generation TV sway your decision. This TV is fantastic even in 2024. We tried the Hisense U7N but the viewing angle was horrendous. Not so with the LG QNED85

I love my new 55" LG. I purchased it on a Sunday afternoon from Chad. He took the time to ask me what I wanted and then showed me those items he felt would serve me the best. Never once did he push me in the direction of the more expensive model s, but rather properly guided me to the best fit for me. After purchasing the LG, Chad scheduled delivery for me. I needed to change the delivery date and drove from new Castle to Muncie. Crystal helped me do that along with the help of Allon. Delivery was scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving. Matthew delivered, installed, and set up my new LG for me. Not only was he efficient, but was a very kind man. His kind personality shines through in he interaction with the consumer - me. All three people who made the transaction possible - sale, delivery, installation and set up have my highest praise for their representation of BEST BUY.

Why are they collecting and selling my information

TV seems to be of decent build quality, remote is horrible (wand is way to sensitive to easily control) but the real problem is the data that you are agreeing to give them just to use the basic TV functions. To be able to use ANY of your streaming services you have to agree to let them collect, sell or use in any other way information you add, watch, search or review through tv and also link and collect data on any other connected device or on the same IP address. So, if you were to watch the movie "A Roman Holiday" they could sell to a travel company your name, IP address and email address to a travel company. If you were to watch a Youtube Video on side effects of a certain medication they could sell that data too. I realize that most smart tv's need to collect data but most allow you to turn off their ability to sell your data and/or limit the data that they collect. I called LG and they said that if you do not agree to all of the MANY agreements to let them use your data that you can not download new streaming apps or update ANY of the streaming app's already on the webos.

It’s a nice tv. I like the picture. It is really bright and vivid. The main thing I don’t like is we have AT&T Direct TV, and this LG tv does not support it. It will not let me download the app. So I would have to get an AT&T box which I don’t like at all! My Samsung did not have that trouble.

Had to replace a 9 year-old 120hz LED damaged by ESD. Chose QNED MiniLED in liue of OLED due to natural light present in room. Very pleased with the choice and LG webOS and a much improved wireless adapter from 9 year-old technology.

Wish I would have know BEFORE I purchased this tv that LG TVs do not support the PBS kids app!! Not sure what else might be missing. It would have made this purchase a hard NO. Also, the remote has a roller ball that you need a steady hand to use. Difficult for kids and some adults to easily use.
