Good TV
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Image. Coming on 2 years and no major problems. The UI and remote have a bit to be desired. The "wii remote-esk" pointer in not very accurate along with the voice search option. Overall great TV. Wish we got the model with 120hz for a couple hundred more.

LG A1 OLED Lost in Lineup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG A1 OLED is a good TV, and it's supposed to slot in as a budget C1. The problem is the two TVs are almost identical in price now, but the C1 is too superior. There is a value issue. I bought both at one point. The A1 as half the refresh rate, is dimmer in general, has a way cheaper stand, and the CPU is too slow for a multi app load. It simply drops streams every now and then as it gets overloaded. Navigation is slow on the A1. Compared to any TV I've owned before though, the A1 is still an amazing TV...it just doesn't make sense in the LG OLED lineup anymore, in my opinion.

A Solid Choice
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having used this TV for over a year, I can say overall there is little to complain about. As ever, internal speakers are not recommended for use - they sound VERY flat. The quality of this OLED is pretty darn good and there are yet to be any signs of burn-in, and that is without significant attempts made to mitigate that. The HDR where supported is amazing the first time it kicks in, and that luster doesn't fade even a year later. It truly is great to see on one of the cheapest entries available in the OLED TV market. It works decently for console gaming or anything like that, but Game Mode is a must otherwise the latency is abominable. WebOS is okay, I have an Nvidia Shield Pro tied to this TV so I don't need to bear through the ads and sluggishness that is inevitable with these cheaper options, but it is absolutely not the worst, and perfectly serviceable if you can tolerate those things. Overall, I'd buy again if I'm the same situation as when I was looking at this unit. A solid recommend for anyone wanting to dip into OLED without spending a ton of money compared to other options.

OLED At A Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Snagged this OLED on sale and initially I was slightly concerned as the A1 does not have the latest processing chip and additional ports like the C series. But the picture quality is great and true to the OLED that I have come to love. If you are not a gamer then save a few bucks and pick up the A1. If you want the best of the best then hold off until the new OLEDs come out later this year that will provide brighter screens. But beware, you will pay a huge premium for that. Or just go all out and get a QD OLED. But for any bedroom or an extra TV the A1 is perfect.

FINALLY - A TV AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't be happier with my new LG OLED television. We opted for the Total Tech. program and had the Geek Squad folks come and fine tune the settings (you know how you see the nice display in-store and then get it home and it never quite looks that good? Well, Geek Squad will orient your settings perfectly so that it looks as good in your space as it does in the store). Crystal clear, amazing frame/refresh rate. Even our old DVDs are brought to life by this display! Highly recommended.

MY55LG
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing. I love this tv. The picture comes in so clear and is so vivid its like your looking it at whatever your watching as if it were your own eyes. There couldn’t have been a better product that i was looking for. It’s sleep , super lightweight , and was extremely easy to install. The directions were minimal sod there was no room for mistake or having feelings like it was too complicated. Literally open box, pull out tv, install legs, plug in and watch. AMAZING!

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV. I have a 77" LG OLED that's a year older. Surprisingly, my favorite improvement is the remote. The older TV's remote is VERY touchy - if you pause a movie and accidentally bump the remote, it un-pauses. The newer remote is crisper in its actions. The picture is outstanding. My only minor frustration is that I can't get certain apps on LG TVs such as HBO Max. I'm hoping they get it figured out so I don't have to go through other apps/devices to watch HBO.

LG OLED is the only way to go.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this based on top rating by Consumer Reports. Beautiful picture with very good sound. Everything is sharp with great blacks and good viewing angles. Plenty of picture adjustments to suit your taste. The top portion of the set is no thicker than my Ipad. OLED is the way to go.

Screen Size is great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Tv has some great points, first I would like to point out that the screen size feels bigger since the border is almost none existent. My previous Tv was a 77inch LED, the smaller screen in OLED is better since the contrasts of darks an colors feels more natural. I like my new Tv even if its not a 8k or better.

Bright colors, true blacks and surprisingly thin
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright colors, blacks are true blacks and surprisingly thin. Full suite of apps for most streaming purposes. Sound is good but better with a sound bar. Overall excellent for OLED at this price point.

Bill Nason TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Picture, easy to set up on stand with a helper, hooked up to cable. I am not a gamer, but rather a bridge player on BBO using a PC. Thinking about possibly adding aa audio upgrade, just not sure which yet. Considering eventually hooking up to the internet in Sept 2022. Bought 55" A1, not C1, b/c I felt I did not need the enhanced gaming capability and audio in apt sitting 8-9' away. Bought Best Buy stand, Bell'O (TC48-6361), which fits 55" LG well and was easy to put together once I read the instructions carefully. Solid stand sits evenly on floor on edge (not on stringy fringe) of oriental rug = very level.

Well Done!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We replaced a 15-year-old 42-inch TV with this one and couldn’t be happier. The picture is bright and crisp, especially after upgrading our Cable Box to the 4K version. The sound from the Sound Bar which we purchased with it is spectacular. David Kingsbury and his partner from the ‘Geek Squad” delivered and installed the equipment. They did all the setting-up leaving nothing to chance and they left my living room spotless. All told, we’re more than satisfied with the equipment and the service

Wish it came with a different remote option
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture & Sound Quality are great. The remote is frustrating (to say the least). We do only streaming, no cable, and the TV comes on to "snow" every time, at HIGH volume. Other than those 2 issues, love the TV.
