LG OLED B4 ~ excellent tv with a great picture and sound ! I tried the less expensive LG QNED and they are night and day. The B4 is a true 120hz refresh and the QNED is 60hz and 120 (only while gaming) The oled is a keeper and wins hands down for picture quality and color control and all features . even tried the tcl Q7 but colors are out of control to prominent for my taste. This is a true 4.8 to 5 star 4k tv ~ (only my assessment)hope this review answers your questions !

I decided to upgrade my LG B9 and saw that the B4 was currently on sale. First, the most recent sales price points ($800-1000) have been great prices for this TV.
Coming from a B9 which is about five years old at this point the B4 is noticeably brighter. The B4 also seems to handle lower resolution video, such as broadcast HDTV, better. There is noticeably less blockiness to the image which was more pronounced on the B9. Overall, the image on the B4 appears clear and sharp. Color banding seems a bit better on the B4 compared to the B9 as well. The speakers are ok. They have an AI sound optimizer that's supposed to adjust the sound better to your viewing space but it seemed to just make it louder and bass heavy. Oddly enough, to me the B9 had a better AI sound optimizer.
The B4 switches video modes noticeably quicker than the B9. Switching from standard dynamic range to high dynamic range video is way quicker. The menu system on the B4 is ok but a bit more convoluted than the B9. There's a separate menu for game settings and there's even another separate menu to adjust boot up and power off options.
The build of the TV is pretty good. It has a plastic back and feet but they're sturdy enough. The B9 had a stand which wobbled a bit much for my liking. The feet are also a bit higher so you can fit a slim soundbar or a streaming box under the set.
Comparing the B4 and C4 they are very similar. The C4 supports 144hz refresh rate for pc gaming and DTS audio. With the sale prices on the B4 I don't think it's worth spending more on the C4. I'm not a fan of the Wii-mote style remote control so I use a universal remote but it works well enough. If you use the directional buttons the gyro controls turn off so it isn't that big of a deal. Overall the B4 is an excellent OLED TV. At these sales prices recently it is also an amazing value.

The Perfect OLED for the New Nintendo Switch 2

I picked up this TV mainly to pair with my new Nintendo Switch 2, and honestly, it’s been a fantastic match.
The picture quality is stunning, with vivid colors, deep blacks, and a truly cinematic feel thanks to the OLED panel. Even though it’s a 60 Hz screen, gameplay feels smooth and sharp — perfect for what the Switch 2 offers.
The α8 AI processor enhances both visuals and sound, and the webOS system is quick and easy to use, giving instant access to my favorite apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Twitch.

Amazing price for cutting edge panel technology

We Just upgraded from a 20 year old plasma , and while movies will never be the same as the smooth natural look of plasma, the brightness contrast clarity and colors from these OLED panels is almost bordering on obnoxious. However it is truly amazing how the technology has changed! Backlit LED panels are becoming the obsolete CRTs of the modern world especially with the price drops that happened this holiday season. I want to say “accuracy” is not your focus when you purchase these OLEDs, as I have also purchased the 48” B4 to use as my computer monitor. The colors were so jacked up I had to dumb down the display by disabling EVERY AI image quality feature to get close to Apples retina displays and other mobile devices. The LG interface is probably the best reason to upgrade from the old world plasma, the seamless integration of all the streaming services has enabled up to unplug our Apple TV , Fire stick and Roku. I can’t see paying suggested retail for this TV but for the year end blowout price it was a no brainer!

The Best Bang for your buck OLED on the market

When I purchased this TV, it was on sale for $799 so the review is coming from that perspective.
This is a fantastic OLED. The picture quality is amazing. Everything just pops now in ways an LCD just can't duplicate.
For video games, everything just looks better. I underestimated how much this improved the look of everything.
I did try the built-in speakers for about 5 minutes and they were fine. In a smallish room there is plenty of volume. I would still recomend a soundbar.
One thing I don't like is the ads on the homescreen. I have an Nvidia shield so I bypassed it but it is annoying to see that on my TV.
All in all, I would recomend this TV for anyone wanting to enter the OLED space. If it's listed at the normal proce I would go to the C4 since it's a bit brighter but at $800 you can't do any better.

Note that I have not and will not connect this tv to the internet so I will not have used the full spectrum of its capabilities. I’d rather not risk the chance of ads invading my tv or software updates breaking something, and will always recommend purchasing a streaming stick or box like Apple TV for that functionality.
That out of the way, this is a fantastic tv and a great step up from my previous TCL 4K LCD from about 6 years ago. Colors are bright and vivid, blacks are as perfect as you’d expect from OLED, and input lag when gaming is minimal.
Brought it on sale for $800 with a free $100 gift card back and I doubt it can be beaten for that price.

Love this TV. No problems with it. Beautiful OLED picture. Menus are easy to navigate. Has 120 hz at 4k. Great for gaming and movies. The atmos sound is nice and tv has optical sound output so you can have tv speakers working simultaneously with a surround sound system without any echo.

I recently upgraded to an OLED TV, and I am absolutely blown away by the experience it delivers. From the moment I powered it on, I could tell this was a game-changer for entertainment.
The screen is nothing short of breathtaking. The level of detail it captures is simply stunning, making every scene feel lifelike and immersive. Whether I’m watching movies or gaming on a next-gen console, the colors are incredibly vibrant yet perfectly balanced. The deep, true blacks and dazzling bright highlights create a contrast that makes every frame pop off the screen.

Really liking this TV. The picture is absolutely stunning and the best looking TV I've ever owned. Movies and video games look absolutely incredible. Slow moving scenes are nice and clean and don't have that jittery look that cheaper TVs do. The only knock I have on this TV is that the user interface is not the best. You have to disable ads and what not to clean it up a little bit, but even then it's not the best UI. Other than that, absolutely incredible TV

Have been wanting my 1st OLED for a while now and this entry level one went on sale for $1000, like 300-500 dollars off. I knew I had to jump on since my families old Roku was starting to deteriorate on the software side. Watch many reviews and for an entry level kept seeing it is still a great OLED and definitely don't regret my decision. I already knew what settings to change on it and the picture quality is excellent. Especially during gaming when I play my PS5 (which I don't even play much besides Horizon FW) and my PC. Finally having a VRR display is definitely a plus, still have to fidget around with fps locks on some games or make sure to play on 1440p on some to keep fps high and stable but I love doing stuff like that. Also the sound quality is ok but I have a sound at and pretty sure most people don't use the TV speakers anymore anyways. If you haven't gotten an OLED and don't want to spend more than 1200 or shell out so much money I recommend this one for sure.

My first OLED! This is a perfect entry level OLED TV if you are a gamer and/or love your movies. I came from a 6 year old LED, and it's been a night and day difference. The colors, and blacks are absolutely stunning. The 120hz and VRR make it feel like I'm finally getting the absolute most out of my Apple TV and PS5. I went with the 55" and it fits perfectly in my den. Would also work great in a smaller living room.

This OLED TV is better than I expected. Picture is clean and Sharp. Colors are impressive, the preset settings are pretty accurate. The sound was another thing I found that was great. Great TV for gaming if you own a gaming console. The only thing I would of liked different would be a better remote for this TV. It takes time to get used to. Overall a great OLED TV, especially if you can get it on sale.

I used to buy Samsung TVs in the last, but always had issues with them. I say the LG OLED at a friends house and was dazzled by the display. The screen is bright and quality is definitely worth the purchase. Initially I was between the LG OLED and SONY Bravia, but went with the lg because they had a better deal going on at the time. The tv itself is easy to set up and very user friendly in navigating between apps and inputs. I have my ps5 hooked up to it and I see just as well on it as my 100” projector due to the high quality.

Bought this to replace another brand of 4K we recently purchased and the difference is night and day. Right out of the box, we didn't need to change any settings unlike the previous brand. Beautiful picture, vibrant colors. My only gripe is the remote which I expected because we have an older LG in our basement, but I was hoping for an updated remote.

Easily the nicest panel I’ve ever owned. The customization is nice and open but sometimes to its detriment, for some devices without as heavy of automated picture features it can be difficult to find the right settings. However for most things it can automatically detect what’s plugged into it and give you the settings the hardware manufacturer meant to begin with and it looks stunning. For the price it seems quite difficult to find anything better than this TV.

I wanted an OLED tv with a high refresh rate for a long time. This is a top brand for an incredible value. If you are looking to spend under a $1000, this is the best tv for the price.
