Absolutely the best tv I’ve used. The picture is superb, and although it took a little time to tinker in the menus to get things to look the way I like, it was well worth it. PS5 games look great, and so do Xbox series X. Sub 4k content looks great as well for both the switch, and satellite. Can’t wait for more 120hz content, especially for sports.

Excellent viewing from all angles, crisp clear images with fantastic color ranges, blacks are deep and don’t feel washed out. Games played on newest gen consoles play great with high refresh rates. Would buy again.

This replaced a Samsung that died after 4 years. WOW! This tv is great. Wonderful picture. I paired it with my Xbox Series X. I did firmware update to get the 120hz. Gaming is great and streaming 4k is amazing. The remote takes a while to get used to but functions well

Like the headline says, it’s the best tv I've ever owned. I originally purchased the Samsung q90, which was extremely bright, and had a great picture, but struggled with some noise during certain movement. I returned it, and picked up the C1. What a difference! The blacks are black black. It made the q90 blacks looks grey in comparison. I almost never see movement blur, and games look unbelievable. This tv let's you enjoy programs the way they were meant to be enjoyed. I will say I'm always worried about burn-in, but with the C1’s settings allowing you to do pixel refresh and logo dimming, my worries are a little less than they were. Another thing I was worried about was seeing it in my bright sunny living room. Not a problem. The glare was hardly noticeable, and the picture was still super crisp and sharp. Still, this is hands down the best tv I've ever seen and owned. My only gripe would be the sound. With the tv being so thin, the sound had to suffer. If you have a soundbar, you won't notice, but even if you don't, the sound isn't the worst, but it is far from the best.

In the market for a 4k 120hz television and of all the homework I did, this one took the cake. Competing brands didn't offer the complete package as the LG C1 does. Dolby Vision, all HDMI ports are 2.1, it will make use of almost all new technology out there to it's highest potential. I have a certain game console that incorporates 4k 120hz with Dolby Vision, and I can say I am glad I chose this tv over the rest. The competitor with it's same likeness isn't giving you 4 ports of hdmi 2.1(8k or 4k120). The other distinct competitor with competing technology might have HDR+(similar to Dolby Vision), and well, try as it might, just isn't OLED. I love my stars, I love my darks, I love the infinite blacks! After a month of trying out different peripherals(Gaming PC, Gaming Console, Firestick 4k, phone streaming, TV app streaming programs) I can say I am ecstatic with the LG C1. So many features I still have more to explore lol!

I like my LG TVs. Had a 50 inch 3D since 2013 that was on constantly when I was home. Finally crapped out on me about a week before I bought this one. So far this has been a real treat to watch. The colors are amazing. The definition is really something. Everything is just so vibrant and really pops. I purchased several movies off streaming services over the last several years and some were in UHD format. Out of curiosity, I watched a couple of them again with this new OLED and the picture was just crazy. You think it is not a big deal, but when you watch a lot of movies and shows on television, you can really see the difference. When you are in a dark room and the only light is actually coming from this television, the night scenes are amazing. So much detail. Game of Thrones was one show that really had so many scenes that were so much more vibrant and detailed with this upgrade.

Have had Samsung tv for years. Wanted to try an OLED, so i purchased the 55 inch for the living room. Wow... now i know why people like OLED's. The depth, the black levels are awesome. It waa brighter than i thought it would be. I use a 4k firestick (not their apps) super clean, smooth with great depth. If you have had LCD/ LED tvs this is the biggest difference. I have to say, my next large tv will now be an OLED. As for gaming... oh my. i thought it looked awesome on my Q90T 75 inch bit on the OLED its just that much better. Nice work LG. Side note. Bought the tv at 1499.00 5 days later it dropped to 1299.00. Called best buy and got the difference off my best buy card. Wonderful customer service

This LG OLED TV is one of the best TVs I've ever owned. My son recommended the LG OLED C1 series, which is an update to the CX series OLED he has. The C1 picture quality has only improved upon the CX series, which was already excellent, by increasing brightness capability. I find the TVs software to be very user-friendly and the remote with pointer motion controls to be really helpful. I don't have cable and instead stream TV through a FIOs gigabit Internet connection. The picture quality is excellent with the best contrast I've seen on a TV at this price. Black areas are completely dark instead of a murky dark gray. Colors are vibrant on standard picture mode and the software automatically detects when HDR signals are being shown, adjusting picture settings to optimize quality. The display stand was easy to assemble and installation was simple enough.

Really awesome TV, i had a lg nanocell before and returned it since it was bad picture blurry and bad blacks, i then got this and blows the old tv out of the water by far the best TV i have seen by far the best TV for next gen gaming (albeit a bit expensive) but it is a 4k hdr 120hz tv that is just perfect

The best TV purchase I've ever made. I visited countless stores searching for the perfect gaming TV to pair with my Xbox Series X, and after just one stop at Best Buy, I found exactly what I needed. The picture quality is astonishing, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that make my games and movies come to life. The sound system is impressive as well, providing clear and immersive audio that enhances my gaming experience. I was tempted to get the larger version for just $200 more, and I might still come back for it to upgrade another room in my home. The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly in my living room. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier gaming TV. It even has built it Bluetooth capabilities for when you're playing at night and want to keep the volume down for the household and I can connect my Bluetooth headphones to it. It's definitely pricier than a typical tv you would buy just for games, but this isn't a typical tv, this is the real deal and you get exactly what you pay for.

LG continues to make a great television and this 55" OLED is no exception. I bought this set after my disappointing experience with Sony and their XBR-65900H which promised a lot of HDMI 2.1 features but never delivered and upset a lot of consumers. Unboxing was a breeze. Attaching the TV stand went with no issues and can be done with one person but two people would be better. Everything works as promised. I made some adjustments out of the box for the picture and made changes for SDR, HDR, and Dolby Vision content. I also use this TV for gaming and having all four inputs be HDMI 2.1 and being able to game at 4K 120hz is really spectacular. I would say my only gripe is that WebOS doesn't support certain apps that Android TV does and that's a little disappointing. However, you can't go wrong with this TV at all and the picture is incredible and gaming is so sweet.

Best TV I've ever purchased. I honestly don't think I can be happier with it. The picture quality is excellent. HDR is vibrant. Using the appropriate cables with my Xbox Series X (main reason I bought it) it utilizes all the next gen features. As well as, High def/4k animated shows, as well as high quality nature shows (think Planet Earth) are absolutely stunning. I would absolutely purchase again. My only complaint, and not a deal breaker, is the UI is a bit clunky and not as snappy/responsive as some others I've messed with.

Great Picture - Too Many Useless "Features"

I really like the TV for viewing quality purposes, which is the primary use of a TV. My old TV was a 1080p Samsung last-generation Plasma that also looked more beautiful than most LED-based TVs with perfect viewing angle colors. This just has the higher 4K resolution and higher brightness. User Tips: 1. rtings.com provides ideal settings for accurate color reproduction - https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c1-oled 2. The brightness really needs to be tamed down from the default to look realistic. 3. If you're moving your FireStick from another TV, ONLY plug it in AFTER you've turned the TV on. Not realizing this, I couldn't figure out why the TV refused to detect it properly. 4. The optical audio port was challenging to get my cable all the way plugged in. This also made it difficult to know if there was an issue with the TV recognizing my soundbar. I had to be pretty aggressive to get the cable all the way in. I did not rate the sound quality, because I have my own devices I'm using. So, I have no opinion on the sound. Cons: I would strongly prefer a simplistic TV with this picture quality. I don't want internet connectivity. I don't want an aggravating magic wand remote. I don't want or need the TV to do anything except display beautiful picture, allow me to fine tune the color and view settings, and readily detect my devices. All the other stuff just clutters and complicates the user experience and forces me to pay for "features" that I view as cost-adding bugs/defects. A lower-end TV with trimmed down features would be cheaper and more pleasant to use. I love the picture and hate the user experience.

amazing tv for gaming streaming movies, tv shows haven't tried cable don't like changing channels and having commercials. This TV is premium high end. HDR really pops the picture plenty bright without. Cinema customized really good for tv viewing. The AI functions add more to the viewing experience. Previous tv Sony x950g great picture quality just not 120hz. If you compare tv shows or games the LG has better picture quality looks more realistic more responsive less latency. Position the tv in a certain place that doesn't have lights right behind you will see the glare it's not that noticeable but if you focus can see. Recommended to have in a room not a lot of sunlight through windows or lights that could shine. Sound quality is surprisingly loud very clear. Bluetooth/wifi connections are easy to use. The magic remote is different but very useable. Works well with a 5.1 surround sound system.

Buying a TV is a lengthy process if you want to get what you want. I exchanged two other TV's before I got LG C1. Always rushing to buy it. I ended up with C1 after all. You cannot compare picture quality of OLED and LED. Its not in the same class. I was unhappy with other two TV's before I got this one because of local dimming. In dark room, its so obvious. I didn't know much about local dimming until I starting reading reviews. It was very obvious on my previous TV when I compared it. Overall this TV is great. I have had it for over a month and I am enjoying it very much. Picture is great, sound from Dolby Atmos is amazing. Only one thing that I didn't like was the base. It is difficult to mount and bulky. Could of been made simpler. Hope they redesign it on future TV's. For the money, this is the best OLED TV you can get. No regrets.

When I was shopping for a tv to pair with the new Gen consoles I was between the C1 or the A80J. After hours of research, watching and reading reviews, I decided the C1 would be perfect for me. The gaming features and 4 HDMI 2.1 ports are what helped sway the decision. The picture quality on this tv is jaw dropping, the motion is the best I’ve seen on any tv. I’ve rewatched shows and movies I’ve seen countless times and I am constantly wowed at the quality that I am now seeing. Gaming on this tv is nothing short of amazing. 4K at 120Hz with VRR is beautiful and buttery smooth. If you can manage to snag one of these before they sell out, you won’t be disappointed especially at the prices they are at now that the C2 is out.

I love this TV! I've had this for some time now and I still will sometimes turn off the tv by accident because i thought it was already off. The picture quality is phenomenal and the colors are so distinct. Super well-paired for my PS5 to get the most out of it. The menus are a bit clunky and the pixel cleaning always seems to suggested at a time I don't want to have to do it, but luckily it's easy to postpone.

This TV is simply the best. I actually bought an A1 model at 60 hrtz. The processor and screen weren't quite good enough and the price was the same as the C1. Step up to this C1, at 120 hrtz. You won't be sorry. The contrast is amazing. The colors are very vivid. HDR Director Mode and Dolby HDR are instantly recognized on the Apple, Amazon, and Netflix etc. They look great, but you can opt out and control the picture yourself if you prefer. The only issue with this OLED TV is brightness. It's bright enough for daytime viewing in a bright room, although not like a QLED. But, that's it! Other than that it's the most amazing TV I've owned. This is my first non-Samsung TV in years and the switch to LG was fully justified.
