    Bought this 1 month ago and it crapped out. Black screen wont turn on. It is a manufacturers warranty so best buy cant help me. Avoid at all costs. Garbage!

    This TV lost picture and sound, went completely dark, in less than seven days after having been installed by Best Buy Geek Squad. It will be fourteen days before a replacement arrives. I hope the new one is more reliable.

    If you've watched some reviews online and are under the impression that this tv is better than the CX. IT IS NOT. Referring to the picture. Great for on gaming, but anything else, not. I just came from the previous model to this one. Yuck, yuck, yuck. The picture is blaah. Reminds me of 1080. Grainy, its also way darker and the sound is quieter. Turned it all the way up sitting 4 foot from it and still couldnt hear it very well and had to strain to see details in the pic. SERIOUSLY. I dont know how any of the people that compared this to last years, that are supposed to be professionals at what they do, can say that this model is a better picture. Gaming yes. Uhd blu-ray, looks like i was streaming on low band width. Not always but definitely more than the majority. FYI.

    The tv is great I love the picture quality on it. Best Buy policy on the other hand I give 0 stars. This will be the only tv I buy from them. Their price match policy has lost me as a customer.

      One of the awesome options on this TV is the various picture mode settings that have already been formatted by the product design team that takes the guess work out for you. To check out the different picture modes go to Picture > Select Mode:

      Vivid - Sharpens the image by increasing contrast, brightness and sharpness
      Standard - Displays the picture with normal contrast, brightness and sharpness levels
      Auto Power Saving - Reduces power consumption by using dimming control
      Cinema - Best option for movies
      Sports/Soccer - Suitable picture for sports games. Sharpens the image of rapid movements such as kicking or throwing the ball
      Game Optimizer - Best option while gaming
      Filmmaker mode - Provides optimized cinema picture quality certified by HD Alliance, the standard setting body for UHD related technologies
      I recommend that you also check out All Settings > Picture > Additional Settings > and see whether or not you like the Eye Comfort Mode and HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color options.

    It appeared to be the highest rated in its class, but not for me. The TV kept buffering and it was 12" from the modem. Returned it for a 55" OLED Sony, far superior. SONY support is also far superior.

    3 weeks on the wall it just cut off.. Never came back on . It had been doing this the previous week but always came back .Had to change it for a Samsung. No more LG!

    My b7 panel looks 2 times better than the c1. price goes up, quality goes down. for anyone with a current oled, i wouldn't suggest *upgrading. playing with game console settings was a pain as well. 2 stars because the return was very easy.

    Beautify TV Garbage Software

    The TV is beautiful, the LG WebOS software that runs it is garbage. I've spent multiple days and I still can't get apps working. It took a few days before the TV could connect to load the user agreements I had to agree to before I could even attempt to use the apps. The TV is constantly saying it cannot connect to what it needs. I can use the web browser just fine so it's not a network issue. I'm fed up with this junk. Don't get this tv unless you can be very patient with the setup and having to possibly setup an LG Account in order to use apps. I'm not exactly sure if you need the account, because it's still not working for me.

    I prefer this Model #OLED55CXPUA Bought in 03.21.18 I prefer this model to this new 2021 model. This new model has a lot of glitches. I do like LG channels that’s why I want with LG again.

    I did not like the LG interface. There was no way to turn off the LG channel and the settings sometimes would change themselves. We replaced with SONY and are super happy we did!

    We bought this model in two different sizes, and both developed the exact same problem with green vertical lines less than two years after purchase. LG warranty only lasts one year. Expensive TVs with supposedly high-quality technology should last longer than that. Will not be purchasing any screen from LG again.

    Crippled by lack of DisplayPort

    After adjusting countless settings, the TV functions alright as a monitor. Definitely not as good as a monitor, but good enough with one exception: the lack of a DisplayPort. I knew this when I bought it, but what I didn't know is that graphics card developers are forbidden from implementing parts of the HDMI 2.1 spec in open source drivers. This means that I cannot take advantage of 4K+120hz+FreeSync on Linux without using a degraded colorspace (4:2:2).

    Not liking at all

    I've went through all the online forums and videos for recommending settings, but even after turning off every energy saving feature and any settings that would detect room lighting the picture will keep going to dark. I have to bring up the settings menu just to make the tv sense something and brighten the picture until the next dark scene. This is my first OLED tv and will be my last. Or maybe last LG OLED.

    Delayed Refund

    I purchased a 55" LG TV with installation but when delivered it was too large. The installer repacked the TV and took it back. No installation and no TV. I was told i would get a refund in three days. Three days went by and no refund. I inquired via your Chat function and was told I had to wait four more days. I waited four days and no refund. I waited another four days and still no refund. It has been 11 days since the TV was retuned and I still do not have a refund.

    Bought this Trash, Not a year goes by and got horizontal lines. And then when playing xbox T.V will go Blank and show no picture or Say Format not found. And this will happen during a fire fight on halo, leaving my team mad at me. Cause y'all T.V is trash, Never ever will i buy this brand. Paid over 1 thousand for trash. Rant over

    Garbage. Take the best technology and have an autistic blind-man install it. That's LG. This TV is purs trash out of the box. 100% of EVERY "feature" doesn't actually work in "real-life". Not a SINGLE function that impacts apps or settings has been tested. EVERY instructiin on the TV goes against gaming recommended settings. The TV stand had a faulty tap and a screw was stripped. So now only 3 screws hold it together.
