Last year we bought a Samsung 55” for our bedroom. And this year we bought an LG OLED 55” for our family room. The LG OLED is definitely clearer with better contrasting picture. The OLED feature gives it better “pop”. The sound bar adds a lot of enjoyment to our YouTube music videos.

3 years later and this tv is still rocking. Great picture and great sound

Such a great option for a 55” TV. Does everything you could hope for plus having the 120hz refresh rate for seamless gaming experiences.

Excellent picture, the sound is not bad (I would suggest buying the LG SP8YA surround system and LG SPK8-S rear speakers) to inhance your TV enjoyment. It's the best TV that I every bought. Try and catch the TV on sale, you will not regret it.

Nothing to say but amazing, best tv I ever viewed/owned. Setup is more for a techie, which I am. An unsuccessful sign in via google account, so went with the LG account method at setup screen. I finally have a TV that I won't hate looking at.

The picture quality is levels above anything I have ever experienced. If you have plans to hook up a console to this unit then you’ve come to the right place.

What a GREAT picture. We are soooooo very happy with our new TV enjoying the colors, the picture and it's the perfect size.

So far so good. Best Buy should install a TV of this price and size, and not charge $200 to do do so. The picture is very good and bright. I'll see how long it lasts.

After giving it a lot of thought, I decided to give it a try and I could not be happier. I barely watch TV, but now I really enjoy watching movies, series, etc.

Wow. I'd kill for 1, 4k 120hz HDMI2.1 port, this has 4. Make sure to set up nVidia control panel as PC and not TV. PC opens up 120hz. Wow.

I’m trying so hard to love this TV as the picture quality is absolutely incredible. However the whole experience is ruined because the WiFi connectivity on this TV is absolutely terrible. I get that most people probably use a separate box and don’t need to use the smart functionality of this TV but for $1400 I shouldn’t need to have a separate device connected just to watch Netflix. I can only recommend this TV if you’re using a separate top box or gaming console to run your apps because the TV refuses to stay connected to Wifi.

The product is working as intended and the picture quality is top notch. Shame it didn't come with the stand, but wall mounting it isn't hard to do. Great deal on an open box item. Thank you Best Buy!

Our LG 55” C8 has been a chronic disappointment, initially because the software and web integration was so poorly done. After multiple updates, the software has slowly improved over the past few years but Alexa voice control is still useless with our DirecTV receiver/DVR, the LG sound bar still stops synching via ARC randomly, and now we have burn-in from the NBC news logo that the pixel refresher does not remove. Based on poor voice control, unreliable “advanced sound”, and a display that burns in under normal use (but is not covered by warranty), we won’t be buying from LG again.

Great motion rate. We love watching movies. Have a soundbar hooked up, but the audio quality on the tv speakers themself have great volume.
