I worked in home theater and high end audio sales for several years and never had seen a picture even close to as good as The LG 55" OLED C1 that I now own. It's ability to bring a stunning hyper-realistic picture into my living room still amazes me on a daily basis! It's contrast ratio is so intense as to be almost painful to the eyes at times. Blacks are literally the absence of any light whatever. The colors generate emotions that you would feel if actually seeing these things out in the world.

Best TV I've ever used. Pros: Fantastic image quality, HDR is Superb, and the out of box Dolby image settings are nice. Great contrast and compatibility with PS5, Mac/iOS (via AirPlay). Cons: Felt super delicate, compared to the G1, I felt the top was a bit hard to grab and install, I overall feel like its a very delicate piece in that sense whereas the G1 has better buttressing in the back to handle it. Brightness can be addressed, but I hear the 2022 models address that.

The sound on this unit completely caught me off guard when we first powered this unit on. It is almost as if we have a sound system plugged in, but of course its just this tv! The graphics display is mind blowing! Everything is sharp and crystal clear, plus blacks are true blacks. It even came with a few surprises built in as well, such as the upgraded magic remote and hundreds of free built in LG tv channels. Cable will never be needed again between these and our streaming services.

Pros: Wonderful picture. Quick response. Deep blacks. This tv is an improvement over my Samsung led. I highly recommend this C1 model. Con: The Art Gallery, which got me interested in this model only scrolls every 10 seconds. This diminishes The enjoyment of displaying the gorgeous art. The presentation is stunning but blink snd it’s flipped. I love the frames and mats but there is no way to change the timing.

I went from a 2011 vizeo 480p to this stunning picture. The picture is stunning! The colorations and true blacks are displayed to perfection. The webOS was tricky to navigate at first, but after watching some YouTube tutorials I am starting to get the hang of it. I have yet to play a video game on this thing, but rumor has it, the graphic support is top of the line. I would definitely recommend getting this TV. Spend the extra $ and get this LG!

I searched for about a month, going through all the research to pick out the perfect tv for me. I use it to game on my ps5 and pc so I really wanted so something that supports 120hz, vrr, and has multiple 2.1 hdmi ports. This tv delivers so much and looks so good. I know oled is all about the perfect blacks but it’s hard to believe how good it is until you start watching some of your favorite movies on it.

The Best TV ever once proper settings are discovered. At first it was a struggle to get cable tv specially sports to look clear, image was blurry at a distance but close ups were phenomenal. After thoroughly testing and researching settings for 3 weeks I was able to get the picture I desired. Helpful hint a lot of people say to disable the ai picture pro which is a huge mistake in my opinion. Bluray, dolby vision, and hdr content is amazing with very minimal setting adjustments.

Great TV. Shopped in the store and the gentleman what I was interested and he showed me my options. I went home and thought about them and ordered this model. Great delivery, they showed up timely and deposited the TV where it would need to be set up. TV setup was quick, Best But had sent a checklist of what would be needed, TV has amazing clarity and great sound. Emote makes navigation simple and listens to voice commands.

Beautiful picture, slim profile, and easy set up. The built in speakers are decent. Not the best customization for the home screen. The ads and LG set up takes the center stage whereas if like us you use Netflix and Hulu they will always be small icons.

Excellent TV at a reasonable price point for those who keep TVs for a long time. The tech here should accommodate a decade’s worth of use without missing whatever will be beyond 4K/8k. This unit is essentially one step below what is “top of the line” for most normal budgets. The OS can be a bit slow but redeems itself with a ton of features. Warning: this unit hurt my eyes for the first few days. The colors are vivid.

Is it cliche' to say that I would give it more stars if they were available? Well, I would. I did not buy this TV on a whim. The one video review that tipped me over to buy it was someone who said that this TV can be adjusted to to do anything that a Q-led unit can, and you can have the deep blacks on top of that. After buying this TV, I discovered that the guy was right. Out of the box the picture, as a whole, was not at all impressive, to my eye, anyway. But I found that the picture can indeed be tweaked until your heart's content. And in my case, my heart became very content after I fined tuned it to a level of absolute astonishment. It is true that there are a lot of settings, but I find this to be a definite plus. They are easy to navigate with explicit instructions along the way. I think that almost anyone can fine tune this TV to suit they taste, with much satisfaction. For me, the picture is great with the blinds open during the day, or with the lights off at night. I love the crystal clear screen as well. The optical audio signal is stellar, which is very apparent if you are sending it to a decent preamp. In my view it was smart to design this TV in a way that alows heat to escape out of the top of the circuit board compartment. The reason I bought this TV was because my Samsung mainboard murdered itself with heat that could not escape, and I could not find a replacement board. No razor thin TVs for me. This one looks like it will last longer. I have not one bad thing to say about this purchase, from sales people in the store, to the prompt delivery, to the actual product. This has been a great experience. Knock on wood that it doesn't blow up tonight...and burn the whole neighborhood down, or something. Ha.

This is an excellent tv as far as tvs go. I had the opportunity to get an a80j open box that ended up not working. in comparison to that i made some discoveries that I did not like. The a80j designed hand holds on the bottom. That made it extremely easy for me to move around and set up by myself. This tv has no place to hold the tv which made it extremely difficult to move around on my own as you also don't want to grab it by the sides either like you could with an LED. Another point the cord is stupid short and attached. My 2011 Samsung has a detachable cord that is also plenty long. The a80j had a detachable cord that was plenty long. Even the box design of this tv is stupid. If you pick it up make sure you have some tie straps or you won't be able to take the tv back. The a80j box is made to allow the tv to be easily removed from the box and when I needed to return the broken one it was very easy to put back in the box and just take it back. I was able to get the tv to work with google home. I can turn it on off launch apps rewind fast forward switch inputs change volume but to paly a show I have to use the remote. It also does not recognize HBO Max. The tv does not have the CW app. It can control my Sony AV receiver but only turn it on off and the volume. I cannot control it with the magic remote. I like the magic remote it was very well designed and is the best remote I have used beside my Logitech harmony remote as that can control more devices more fully. This was a difference with the Sony as that controlled the receiver straight from the remote. Accessing receiver controls through the tv menus is rather clunky. The picture is awesome. The sound is really good but you have to change the setting to wall mount vs stand if you are not using the stand that the tv came with, I bought a swivel stand at Walmart. Turn off the Atmos sound in settings or it makes Netflix sound really low. The HDMI CEC control seems to work well. I have not had any image retention so far and definitely no burn in. I bought the 5yr warranty from Best Buy. I am not sure it needs it though. The LG channels are cool but between Netflix Hulu and HBO Max I have not had the time or need to watch them. I picked this over the a80j because it has the 4 2.1 ports with VRR etc and ultimately I tried the Chromecast with google tv and could not get it to play the shows on apps either so still needed the remote. That was weird considering first generation Chromecast can play the videos but I had to know exactly what I wanted to play, This shows perfectly fine in a bright room just as it does in the show room at the store, not sure what the youtubers are talking about on that. I never use the brightest setting as it is too bright to me. I have a large window and a dual door with top to bottom windows in it next to that and I have no issue. Glare control is also good It seems the TV manufacturers decided to get together and and make all of the tvs with flaws. This could have been a perfect TV with hand placement design and a detachable cord that is as long as all the other tvs. Even a 2008 Vizio had a detachable cord that was plenty long. The Samsung has overly aggressive dimming zones, limited Tizen system with gimmick features, and no Dolby. The Sony has only 2 2.1 ports and no VRR etc

Was very satisfied with the entire process. In the store they were very helpful answering our questions and meeting our needs. Very satisfied with the TV. My wife has a bit of a hearing problem and the flexibility of the sound settings helped her considerably. More user friendly that I would have expected. The picture is incredible. We had a top of the line Sony LCD for years and there is no comparison, the LG is so much better and user friendly.

Money extremely well spent! Very happy with our purchase of this OLED television. Easy to install on our pre-existing wall mount. Upgrade from an LG 43” HDR/UHD LED tv. The picture difference between the two is night and day. The 43” was nice, but this blows any television we’ve owned! We have a 65” Samsung and a 55” Samsung Curve as well, this is in a different class. Pure crisp and clean images and deep, robust blacks and definition.

After doing a lot of research I decided to go with an oled. I was very hesitant to spend the money knowing that I could probably get a bigger tv for the same price but I wanted quality. This tv did not disappoint, the picture is crystal clear and gaming with an Xbox series x or ps5 looks amazing. Movies in 4K look great and there is no stutter or blur during action scenes. I highly recommend this tv
