Needs Panel Replacement after 4 months of use
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the TV when we first got it. But after 4 months of use, we already had a panel go out which causes a vertical line on the display. Fortunate for us, it is still under warranty but the fact that it is already having issues 4 months in to owning is concerning.

Best gaming tv on the market. Great Xbox tv.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is absolutely best used with the xbox series x/s consoles. I can't understand why a playstation user would buy it. No console features use it properly.

LG problem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 17 days experienced a major problem with the screen. Contacted geek squad, after much frustration and 10 days technicians came and could not repair. New schedule was for yesterday but was canceled by technicians due to no new panel arrival. They said they would reschedule when they would be able to correct the problem.

Incredible TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great, I got it for a sale price of 1299.99. Color is incredible, deep dark black levels thanks to the OLED technology. 120hz makes everything silky smooth, amazing TV for a PS5 or Xbox Series X. The UI is okay, and can be slightly laggy (although not too bad) I definitely recommend picking up a Google Chromecast with Google TV for this. Sound is amazing as well, this TV gets LOUD. For the average consumer you absolutely do not need a soundbar, but for anyone spending this much money on a tv, you might as well get one to pair it with. Picture quality is great, no complaints, OLED is the best technology on the market today. The Magic Remote is great, if you've ever used a Wii you will be comfortable with it immediately. My only recommendation is to people who watch TV in a bright room (direct sunlight). OLED is probably not the way for you to go if you are doing a lot of watching in direct sunlight. The brightness levels are great for daytime with ambient sunlight, but not direct. OLED just doesn't get as bright as some other technologies. HDR still looks incredible on it and other than that I have no complaints. If you are on the fence about it, this is your sign to go for it. You won't regret purchasing this TV.

Screen issues within 3 months.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did my research and maybe just got a lemon, but my tv is 3 months old and has a horizontal line across the screen. This is the most expensive tv I’ve ever purchased, and to have a line develop across the screen is pretty disappointing. On top of that LGs warranty repair service has been quite lacking. You just go days without hearing anything. So basically I’m left with an expensive tv hoping that some day it will be fixed. I was a huge LG tv fan until this. This is enough to make me regret this purchase and probably never purchase an Lg tv again.

Be careful buying from this store(SCAM ALERT)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as described item, paid a 1000k$ for an "open-excellen condition tv" and looks like they picked from garbage, not a simple box just barely wrapped, missing parts, i understand is an open box but this is TOTALLY A JOKE.. looks like they dragged across all the floor store. Worst customer service.

Suspected Open box not brand new
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is good. I did research before buying it. But, there are scratches under the base! I doubt it was opened before. I do not return it as it is too heavy for me to handle. Unpleasant for sure. Would probably go to Amazon next time for something hard to return.

Best Gaming TV on the market 2021/2022
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could write a book about how nice this tv is, especially for gaming. After trying out a Sony x85j, and a Sony x90j, I went to this LG C1 55inch. Im really glad i made the switch. The picture quality, is second to none in the industry. Whether its netflix, hulu, live tv, it doesnt matter. Everything looks phenomenal and extremely smooth. Gaming on this tv is on another level. This is one of the few tvs on the market with four hdmi 2.1 ports, it supports 4k gaming at 120hz, VRR (variable refresh rate, both sony tvs were waiting on updates from Sony to allow VRR to work), HDR, Dolby Vision. Both the PS5 and XSX look amazing, and run so so smooth. Dolby vision is a plus to have when running the xbox, but even with traditional hdr, the PS5 looks and plays beautifully! Having support for VRR definitely makes a difference. I guess the only 2 negatives i have found so far, is the fact that the power cable is permanently attached to the tv, and the TV does not support HDR10, which is what amazon prime video uses. But dont get me wrong, the quality of the prime video is amazing, just not the best it could be! I recommend this tv to anyone looking for a quality gaming tv!

Excellent overall, especially for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a beautiful beast. Has pretty much all the features for gaming and video you need. Easily handles 4K 120hz gaming on supported games/consoles. Beautiful color and accuracy. Game mode is a sinch, included gsync, freesync, VRR, Dolby vision for gaming, all the HDRs, etc. Have had LG OLEDs since their inception and this one is probably the best I’ve had. Isf mode bright with true motion and some other quick settings makes the Switch appear 60fps with excellent brightness and color. Same settings made Bloodborne look at close to 60fps as you’re going to get in 2023 :) just sayin

OLED TVs, a PS5s best friend.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The carbon oleds are very interesting. The ability to flash each led at its on refresh rate and brightness or darkness is insane. Finally I got to see what the hype is with the PS5. Rhis tv covers every option available. It even has VRR which isnt even being used yet. I played some Horizon Forbidden west and loved the HDR rendering. Just started Elden Ring, its also a beautiful game. I can honestly say there is a big difference between 4k 30fps without hdr or oleds. Than going to 4k 60-120fps with HDR and oleds and ALLM its amazing. Not to mention the haptics on playstation original titles are insane.

Excellent quality in all areas
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my CX 2020 with this newer C1 model after a week of the CX disconnecting from my wifi & wired network several times daily and the Web OS being unavailable most of the time. Tried everything but maybe I had a lemon. Luckily the C1 went on sale for just a c note more this past week so I did the exchange. I'm having none of the network issues anymore and this is a nice upgrade. The new Web OS is alot like the new Chromecast Google TV, so the UI was an easy transition for me. I don't care for the sleeker magic remote and they moved the settings button to an awkward place. It seems they removed a few options from the settings menu also. Unlike a few other reviews I've read my panel is not dimmer than the CX, if anything it's brighter and the faster processer is evident. The picture is absolutely stunning in Dolby Vision and HDR modes for the various type of content and 1080P looks pretty decent upscaled although some shows on broadcast TV tend towards the soap opera effect, but that can all be adjusted in settings. Since it's only been a few days I'm letting the TV settle in before doing any further calibrations and it's really not to far off out of the box. Perhaps over saturated in some modes and skin tones will need further adjustment. I've never liked filmmaker mode on any set in my living room, I've got a lot of ambient light in this room. After returning a Samsung QLED and a Vizio OLED from Amazon I'm definitely a fan of the LG. Spend a little more and purchase the C1 on sale while you can.

Great TV for PS5, Gaming pc or XBOX series X
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, coming from a 2016 model mid level Sony xbr 4k I often wondered why even a ps5 didnt look great. After sony disabled hdr with 4k with a os update last november only to let it run 1080p hdr i was in the market for a better tv and NOT a Sony for what they pulled and lack of support or even customer services knowledge that the help guide sony has up no longer applies to the update which ruined my tv for me and no way to regain 4k+hdr function. I, like many others on the fence of oled worried about screen burn in. When i found out via salesperson that geek squad protection will cover screen burn in i jumped the fence to oled. In the magnolia room the samsung q90 couldnt hold a candle to the detail or color on the c1. I believe part of that is how they set them up honestly. But you could tell it was a better picture easily. Maybe its to push LG tv's but i already was aware that oled produced a better picture quality. But i Bought 5 year geek squad plan and in 5 years i may be in the market for a 8k if more content comes out in 8k. Enough of that and on to the c1 55 inch i purchased. Only owned it for 10 hours but honestly the picture quality for at least ps5 games looks gorgeous. I went from i can tell resident evil 8 looks like a ps4 game running ps5 version on my sony 4k to blown away on the LG c1. It has a better processor than the cx from last year too and improved on the cx from 2020. The os is easy to use. Had a update right away but handled it smoothly and quick. Aiming the cursor can get annoying but if you're in the menu you want just press the arrow keys next to the thumb wheel and you can stop the aim cusor from being used for that time and just use arrow keys. Handles the ps5 beautifully. I was told if you do longer than 8 hour gaming sessions it has more succeptibility to burn in. You can set static heads up display items to low brightness in the c1's settings to help avoid burn in as those would be the areas in a game to most likely cause it. But honestly the only game ive done longer than 8 hours is cyberpunk 2077 lol. So i plan on running the pixel refresh tool in the menu if i play for close to 8 hours. Ill just take a break for an hour while its running. The base is very sturdy if you dont hang it on a wall. Its very wide but very sturdy. Ends up making the tv alot heavier than it already is. Sound is great for even factory internal speakers. With the ai sound feature enabled i could see a full sound bar really setting the tv off the charts for sound. But honestly it sounds really darn good. Cant wait to see some more horror games come out for the new consoles because the black levels and realistic lighting and colors should be intense and immersive on this tv. If youre a gamer and picky about picture quality or how fast it handles an intense online cod battle it handles it with ease. Only thing that slows it down is activisions cod servers lol. If you have a 2020 lg cx ive heard this ones better by a little. Has a better processor and improved on last years model. If you own neither of the two get the c1 and 5 year geeksquad protection and enjoy this amazing tv.

A Beautiful Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first higher end and OLED TV and I couldn't be happier. I usually buy mid range or cheaper TVs and have been wanting more. So I decided to splurge and treat myself. This is the best OLED you can get without spending quite a bit more. The picture quality is amazing and colors look great. If you are putting this in a dark room you will be very happy. If you are going to be putting it in a bright room I would look at QLEDs. Also if you are into gaming this is one of the best gaming TVs you can get. My only concern is in the long term with burn in but with the anti burn in features the tv has we will see what happens. Great upgrade overall.

Wow.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. I upgraded from a samsung ju7100 led tv. Cant go back to an led tv now. Comes with all the latest goodies like hdmi 2.1, hdr10, dolby vision, dolby atmos, NVIDIA G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium The 4K/upscaled visuals are stunning although i see slight judder in fast moving frames. May be i need to tweak the calibration a bit. Also, the down firing tv speakers are not bad at all. Biggest plus point- if you're a console gamer - this tv has super low input lag (i guess its around 1ms or less in game mode). My ps5 and xbx1x response times are insane, the game optimizer menu providing exact settings for the type of gameplay (fps, rpg etc). Point is, its a breeze to play online multiplayer on this tv, youre going to immediately notice the reduction in input lag. Although probably not a sony level tv to compare the visuals or color accuracy (may be calibration out of the box will match a sony, not sure), but for the features and price point this beats a sony oled. Downside - comes with a cheap plastic remote - although the remote works well, could have done with some premium material on the remote for a tv that costs $1799. But certainly not a deal breaker.

C1 OLED improves quality of enjoyment and life too
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am hard to please with TVs. Many of them cause me motion sickness, headaches and the sound can be problematic due to tinnitus (ringing in the ears.) I was hesitant to spend more on the C1 but am so glad I did. The color pops, the brightness is more than enough and the motion is silky smooth. Multiple 2.1 HDMI ports when the competitions give one at most. Very good sound for such a flat-screen. This TV is loaded with options and settings to your heart's content. The menu is streamlined and easier than past OLEDs from years ago I interacted with. The Wifi seems pretty fast for tv too; coming from other LED tv's I had that took forever to find a signal etc. If you play games buy this TV. If you watch movies, buy this TV. If you have to deal with the reflections I advise you to make it work any way you can. It literally is worth the work to enjoy the c1 OLED. Most other TVs spreads reflections across the screen while the OLED is a bit more of a mirror. Despite this, I am happy to tolerate it because decades ago CRTs were glass and actually worse.
