I'm enjoying my time with my TV in my room. And its perfect when in a dark setting, especially with my sound system. The quality is great especially when I'm gaming, and the 120hz does help. Definitely a must buy for a bedroom setting and mine is a 55". Still waiting for a Blu-ray player so I can watch my movies in perfect picture quality. But overall I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this LG OLED AI 4K UHD WebOS Quantum Pizza Supreme TV after hearing it could read minds and whisper sweet nothings to me through the HDMI port. It arrived in a box large enough to bury my past mistakes in.
Setup was easy. The TV asked me about my childhood trauma, and then installed itself. AI Picture Pro now shows me visions of alternate timelines where I made better choices. The blacks are so deep I fell into one and emerged three days later, spiritually cleansed.
I tried to watch the news, but the TV gently suggested “Paddington 2” instead. It was right. It’s always right. It knows what I need. I no longer sleep. I just stand in front of the screen, bathed in pixel perfection, absorbing plotless YouTube videos at 4K resolution until my soul ascends.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. This is my TV. You can get your own sentient rectangle. This one knows my name and calls me “Captain.”

Pros:
- Image quality is a huge improvement over the 15 year old LCD TV that it replaced: deep blacks, excellent sharpness and color even in brightly lit rooms
- Built-in Airplay and Chromecast
- Optical and eARC outputs for external speakers/receivers
- Over-the-air TV reception works well
Cons:
- Sound quality is just fair, although maybe due to where we installed it (in a cabinet)
- "Magic" remote isn't so magical. Using a Harmony remote to control it. Harmonys have been discontinued by Logitech, but the Harmony programming site still works. Tell your Harmony that the TV is an LG C4 and all will work.
- Lots of bloatware/adware on the TV as delivered, especially on the apps page. These can be disabled via the menu options.
- Many newer TVs, this one included, track and report your viewing habits. Pay attention to which features/apps you enable and their privacy terms of service. Do an Internet search for ""new york times tv is spying on you" for privacy tips.

Amazing Flat panel television as I knew it would be. LG is always a great choice in OLED panels. True blacks are a game changer and the processer is very good!

I was on the fence purchasing an OLED tv based on other people’s experience. I finally decided that this is what I wanted and just bought it. I purchased the 55”. I can say, after nearly two weeks I don’t regret it. I upgraded from a Vizio P Series from 2018.
This is my first OLED and the absolute best tv I ever had. The contrast is absolutely out of this world. The brightness is really great too, even for a bright room like mine is in. [Just make sure the tv won’t take direct sun light if you decide to purchase this TV.]
One hiccup I had with this TV was with the mount I had from my previous TV. The brackets/extenders didn’t configure with this TV, or at least I couldn’t figure it out. I ended having to purchase extenders and got it to work. That was my fault though and does not justify to affect the rating.
Needless to say just purchase this TV if you have the funds and enjoy it. There are videos online that are perfect to adjust the display settings, etc. I would just say make sure it will configure to your current mount if you are upgrading.

Here’s a simple, clean review with no sources mentioned:
The LG 55” C5 Series OLED evo (2025) delivers excellent picture quality with deep blacks, rich colors, and sharp contrast that really stand out for movies, shows, and gaming. The OLED evo panel is bright for an OLED and handles motion smoothly, making fast scenes look clear and fluid.
Gaming performance is strong thanks to HDMI 2.1 support, low input lag, and variable refresh rate, which pairs well with modern consoles. The webOS smart platform is easy to use and offers quick access to all major streaming apps, along with helpful AI picture and upscaling features.
Sound quality is fine for everyday viewing, but a soundbar will noticeably improve the experience. Overall, this TV offers a premium viewing experience and is a solid choice if picture quality is your top priority.

awesome picture, nice design, installed easily. Makes me want to watch TV again. My first OLED. wow.
5 stars except the remote has no backlight or glow. Can't read it in low light. Still I would buy again with no hesitation. Bought this one because my son in law has the 65" and I loved it. I got the 55" for my wall unit.

Excellent quality tv. Oled is the best. We researched and were originally going to buy a samsung. Then the sales guy advised it’s the same equipment inside the tv, so we went with LG which was more affordable. Great deal. The only downside is the remote control is difficult to use at times.

One of the best OLED TVs out there. I use it for movies and gaming. The refresh rate is more than enough for console gamers along with the deep colors makes a perfect combination.

I have been using the C series OLED LG since 2020. I have one in the living room and one in my daughters room and purchased one for my bedroom Aug2025. Absolutely the best OLED out there. Great picture and the WebOS is fantastic as well. I am a gamer and bought specifically for gaming. I am extremely pleased with this product!

Great picture amazing black and bright white. Need some tweaking in settings. Especially with the AI stuff. Controller is a little weird though with the motion pointer.

Excellent picture quality! Colors, details, sharpness and brightness for an OLED TV is absolutely outstanding! We have a bright room this is in during the day and it doesn’t fade or have glare at all! And I was surprised by the sound quality from the TV speakers too! I would absolutely recommend this TV.

Bought this because it integrates well with my AV system, which includes Apple TV and Bluesound Node with all digital sound sources routed through the Bluesound to my audio preamp via Toslink (no AV receiver, ADC and 5.1 surround processed in preamp). I normally use the LG as a monitor only and almost never use the built in webOS. My Sony Bravia TV would not allow me to reliably route sound from the Apple TV through the Bluesound using HDMI. Via CEC, the Sony sent a "mute" signal to the Bluesound on power off and for some reason this disabled the Bluesound HDMI input the next time I powered up the system. I had to either reboot the Bluesound or use Airplay, which gave noticeably poorer sound quality. The LG doesn't do this, sound quality problem solved. Fantastic picture quality is a bonus.

This is a great TV at a great price. Crystal clear and very easy to setup. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. So nice to have Best Buy staff have me pull up to the front of the store and load it into the back of my SUV for me.

I bought this TV for my wife, replacing an old non-OLED Samsung of the same size. It is in a room with a vaulted ceiling and two stories of windows. I was worried that an OLED TV would not be bright enough in this environment. There was no problem, and the colors and dark contrast are more vivid than on the old TV. My wife is happy with the purchase.

The setup is a little confusing but the tv is great so far, will update if the TVs picture goes at all but I love the tv. The games I play are finally able to show their true potential. I suggest mounting it! But have a friend, tvs really thin and light, the stand is solid and heavy but the tv is very thin, I was afraid I was going to squeeze it too hard when lifting it but it was wrong.

I've heard about OLED TV's, I wasn't sure if the picture was THAT much better than the standard LED, then I turned it on. WOW, I'm watching movies I've seen over and over and it's like watching it for the first time again. It's that good of a picture. The details it brings out is mind blowing. The setup was super easy. It does take a few seconds to connect to the WIFI when you turn it on, but once it does, you're golden. The menu takes a while to get used to but, as with anything, once you get used to it you know where everything is. I have a 4k player hooked up to it and it's absolutely amazing. It's fast going from one app to another. It's a wonderful TV, best I've ever owned.

Stunning picture, vibrant colors, pixel cleaning feature really comes in handy. The best part of pixel cleaning with the 25 model is it takes only 10 mins now compared to the 20 model which took an hour. Easy to access other features like Alexa to control your smart devices such as lights and turning the tv on and off itself. This is a tv that is good for gaming and it’s basically its own Xbox. I’m a PlayStation person myself but knowing I have both at my disposal now is really gratifying. Plenty of hdmi outlets, non complicated backing as well. The transitions when gaming and the output is top notch. Smooth and seamless. Gamers need to consider this tv.

Bought this to replace another Manufacturers OLED TV that had to be replaced twice in 10 months. The picture is GREAT! The colors pop, the image is clear and detailed, very easy to set up (does take time). You can’t beat the image. Whether you stream, use a cable box or an antenna, you will be very pleased with the LG 55” Class C5 OLED AI 4K UHD TV!
