Gorgeous unit. Got this for my home office to use as both news/show/movie viewing and console gaming. In both roles, this television is superb. I previously purchased and still use an older B9 unit in my bedroom, and this CX builds upon that unit nicely. The picture for shows and movies is outstanding. I love the true black look especially for evening viewing. I have yet to find a scenario where this tv under performs. I don’t have it in a highly naturally-lighted room, so I cannot speak to glare or brightness. I am currently only using the internal speakers and that is all I need. The AI Sound setting works excellent in my small space. It produces an almost surround sound feel without being overwhelming in any range. The gaming settings get a level of beauty that I just couldn’t get in my current monitor. I love how the tv will auto set based on the input, which makes it great when my son gets on and doesn’t have to fumble with settings. Overall, great tv. Would definitely recommend to others.

Imagine, watching a movie, a series or playing a game in the dark of night. There are no light sources on in the room. But, the black on the screen is actually darker than the rest of your viewing environment. It's literally, BLACK. The whites are laser bright, too! This give this TV the absolute BEST contrast with the cleanest, clearest precision, I've ever seen....PERIOD. The settings are gracious with pop-up explanations for what each manipulates. No guesswork. I'm a heavy gamer and this system handles every game that offers 4K - 120fps. Multiple inputs, ultra thin panel and, probably the BEST internal speakers you've ever heard....seriously. (I table mounted mine). Wall mounting will change the sound field so, be aware of that. Of course, it has Bluetooth 5.0 so, you can always choose to send your audio to a set of Bluetooth speakers, as well. In conclusion, The LG CX is now the new Best Dang TV I've Ever Purchased. No regrets.

Been a Samsung guy for years. I get tire of Samsung and their promises on getting eARC update for 2019 QLED family. I'm a PC, console gamer and wow. this TV do both really great! been usign LG monitors for years. The last monitor was the LG 34GN950-B . for the price of the monitor and a little bit more, I got the TV and boy I'm not disappointed. 120hz, 4K beautiful OLED screen. I returned the monitor to get my investment back.

This CX series OLED is amazing! I bought this set for our bedroom. The picture quality and available adjustments are as good as it gets. If you are a gamer the NVIDIA G sync and HDR take gaming to another level! Zero I put lag and 120Hz refresh rate. I’m still playing around with picture and sound settings but WOW! I own an older EF9500 OLED and a C8 also purchased from Magnolia and love those TVs but the new CX has a brighter and richer picture. In my opinion OLED is the best picture quality on the market. I read reviews by people knocking the glare in direct light situations and that is a problem but overall there is no other type of screen close to OLED. Soon I’ll be replacing the EF9500 with a 77” OLED for my main movie room and will likely buy ftom Magnolia

Just buy it, you wont regret it. Contrast on this tv is absolutely stunning. I will say the remote is super annoying and I don’t love the ui but the picture more than makes up for it. Amazing for playing xbox series x games in 120 refresh and 4k

Love the OLED! I use to think my Q70 samsung got dark, but now im starting to see the backlight bleed from this guy after having the oled. I'm already thinking of replacing that tv.... The TV is great for the "next-gen" gaming with its 120hz refresh, but not many devices can do that. If you have a 30 series Nvidia or a newer amd that has HDMI 2.1 you will be able to play at 120hz hdr etc. If you do not, you can adjust some settings on your pc to get it up, but you will lose some color 4/8 bit vs 10 bit. With my 980ti I was able to get my gpu to do 120hz at 4k with a color format YCbCr420 in SDR and 8 bit. It is a little tricky to get the GPU to automatically recognize the tv is able to do 120. By default, the card only sees it is capable of 60. You will need to go to input settings on the tv and tell it that the input is a computer etc. By doing so itll remember each time vs you going into the computer setting and having to overwrite the setting again and again. There a couple of reviews you tube that go into this a bit, and which picture setting to go with (filmmaker) I purchased this to try aganist the lg 38Ultrawide, and have no intentions of getting that one now. The height is a bit tall, but it's not terrible. It is definitely something you have to try. There needs to be better info on what each setting does, and how to get the tv to take 120hz. It does not just need to be in game mode, and there other ways to get the tv to receive 120 correctly , see above. The remote can be bit annoying with the pointer. The Tv stand keeps the tv pretty low vs a llot of tvs out there which may get in the way of a lot of sound bars.

This has been the best TV I’ve ever owned. I bought this because I was lucky enough to get a series X. I needed a solid gaming tv but I also run it in the background sometimes while I’m working. I have a Sony Bravia in my living room that I was convinced by as the best TV I’d ever own and this tv makes it look like it’s 10 years old watching the same content. I was scared of the oled burn in because I play a lot of games with constant HUDs, but I realized after buying the TV that how frequently the mini map changes, ammo count changes, and the world/map moving around behind any hud that the risk of burn in is really low for gaming. If you’re watching news channels frequently that will absolutely be a higher risk

This is my 2nd LG oled (I still have the first and it is still running great). I wanted the CX for the improved gaming features. The input lag is very low and the display is very responsive with both Xbox Series X and PC gaming. Also I have put hundreds upon hundreds of hours onto my previous OLED almost exclusively for gaming with zero signs of burn-in. If you worry about burn-in for gaming, don’t. The picture is outstanding as would be expected and the OS is easy enough to use. My only minor gripe is the auto low latency mode pops up with “instant game response active” every time I switch games or go to the Xbox dashboard or launch Netflix etc... I leave this input on game mode so I would prefer the TV to just go to ALLM and not spam me with it.

The TV is probably the best value for picture quality one can find. You cannot beat the OLED picture. It is far more life like than an LCD. It works better off angle. I also find it easier on my eyes than a LCD, because it emits far less harmful blue light. I cannot comment on the speakers. I only listened to them briefly as I was hooking it up to my stereo, but they sounded pretty standard for a flat screen TV. I use it mostly for movies. I do not game, so I cannot comment. Although, I will occasional watch the news, I keep it limited out of fear of burn-in which is the only downside to an OLED. I am not a fan of the remote, as I find myself constantly chasing the cursor all over the screen.

I never owned an OLED TV before and let me just say picture quality is AMAZING!!! I use half for movie/streaming and the other for gaming. I game on ps4 pro but wanted a tv to get ready for ps5. This is the tv if you are a gamer! Night and day difference gaming on OLED vs LED. Sure you have burn in as a risk, but as long as you vary content you should be okay. I purchased the geek squad protection just to be safe and it covers burn in. Only main issue with this tv are the speakers. When the bass is particularly strong the tv rattles and speakers crack. Other reviews seem to point this to be an issue. Not a deal breaker bc a sound bar fixes that issue right away. Other than that, once you go oled there is no going back. 55 inch is perfect for gaming. If you plan on gaming on the new consoles go get this TV. You will see things in movies and games you never knew were there before.

My first ever OLED TV. The quality of OLED cannot compare. Brightness and darkness are on another level which affects how colors are portrayed as well. It's been about 4 years now since I've owned this TV. I'm coming back with bad news, I got some dead pixels on the left middle edge of my TV. I've heard of this being an issue with OLEDs but it didn't sway me from trying my first OLED TV. I'd say the most it's been on is about 12 hours a day not daily, it's also been used as a PC monitor, screensavers and pixel refreshers are on, as well as a dynamic wallpaper for my PC, even not using the full brightness of the TV (85 contrast, 55 brightness, auto power saving) I think I've done all possible to prevent dead pixels.

I’m new to OLED but all I can say is wow. This TV is great on every level. The colors are much deeper than what I’m used to. As expected it has perfect blacks. Gaming has never looked better at 4k. Movies and TV shows are much clearer. And the best thing is the TV is future proof and ready for the new gaming console era. If you don’t already have an OLED or have a pretty old one it is definitely worth every penny.

Will never buy a tv with lesser quality again I have other 4K tv’s but the OLED is by far the best quality it has the most vibrant colors if you like 4K programs with true black and vivid colors this is exactly that I have been rewatching shows just because the colors are absolutely amazing it is so much more than just 4K this OLED does not disappoint I can only imagine how amazing the new Xbox graphics look on this tv since it is made for gaming too

This is by far the best TV I've ever bought. I usually buy cheaper versions that pretend to be gaming TVs but this is one of those somewhat lower than the most expensive TVs. Gaming on the PS5 on this TV is excellent! There's almost no lag whatsoever and LGs firmware really does an incredible job of making this the best TV I've ever owned so far. I would recommend this to anybody (assuming it's still available) but at this time, I would recommend the newer version as well.

This TV blew away the competition. I RETURNED 2 slightly cheaper competitive TVs previously (Hisense, TCL - not oled models). If you're picky about picture quality etc and/or have sensitive eyes this is the TV FOR YOU!!! I'm super impressed! And I'm super picky! I tried the comparable TCL Roku and Hisense Android that were slightly cheaper. They were both lacking and had tons of issues for me. Coming from a Vizio TV (that had issues, random restarts etc) with a ROKU ultra box (I like Roku), LG has every feature I could want plus more. The picture controls are phenomenal. I'm extremely pleased with this TV. The eye care feature and blue light filter is SO appreciated for me. I get migraines from too much blue light. I have photophobia etc. The only thing missing for me is the Trinity Broadcasting Network from their LG Store. The remote is great except I wish it had a direct button just for switching TV picture modes to easily change between modes, night mode and day mode etc. (Auto energy and autobright are great but my eyes change too much based on how much tv light they can handle with migraines etc per day) I also wish there was a button to turn on/off the screen "cursor" because I don't like it and I accidently activate it all the time because the "enter/accept" button is also a scroll wheel. Plus it automatically popsup when you press the settings button or home button etc. Cursor should be optional, not default. Super minor detail, user preference. Not a huge deal. I love this TV! Also works great for Bluetooth or wirelessly casting a laptop screen in windows 10 (connected on the network) to the TV screen. Facebook casting videos you have to install a 'Facebook watching' app. This is a great smart TV. Have I mentioned I love it?!

This the first OLED tv I've known and I'm absolutely blown away by the picture quality. The contrast and color accuracy on this is amazing. Leaving the TV on the expert picture gave the best color accuracy out the box so I didn't have to mess with the settings all that much. While the peak brightness is around 750 is more than efficient for HDR. Being an OLED you wouldn't want this to be too bright any way. As much as I'm loving this TV there are some things about it that bother me. For a $1500 TV it annoys me that the power plug is not detachable. My previous TV was a $400 set with a detachable cable so I don't understand why this couldn't have one. I would hate to need to replace this if anything happens to the power cord. Not being able to cast on it is bothersome too as I often like to cast videos from my PC to the TV. I'll have to buy a chromecast for that.
