Let's get this out of the way: QD-OLED offers brightness, color, and saturation image quality benefits over a WOLED panel like the LG G2. If you're able to accept the inherent limitations of older OLED technology, this TV is on an excellent, mature platform and offers exceptional performance at a power cost. SDR content from broadcast, cable, Blu-ray, or streaming is solid. Out of the box accuracy is excellent. Good color, image detail, and mostly-accurate white balance. HDR content in HDR10 and Dolby Vision is bright—not as bright as a QD-OLED, but bright enough for all but the most sunlit rooms. Images show an increased dynamic range that is a noticeable improvement over earlier LG C1, CX, or C9 models. Gaming performance just works. Period. Console gamers and PC enthusiasts can look forward to a stable feature set with no weird quirks or image dropouts or HDMI CEC/compatibility issues. Sound for a television is decent—an external soundbar or 2.1 system is recommended. Overall, if you can still find this TV for less than the LG G3 on sale, it's a worthy television that won't leave you disappointed.

Super slim. Like a picture on the wall. Deep colors and superb picture quality.

Up graded to 1 gig internet and wanted a TV to handle the speed. This one does it in outstanding fashion. Color clarity and sound are what you'd expect from a 4K unit. There is no stand for this unit, and the included wall mount is a little limiting so I used an angle arm mount which allows me to move the TV around. Great TV for the money

It is otherwise perfect, however, I went through 5 of these panels because each had a very noticeable green tint to whites and grays on the bottom. The TV's performance is just amazing, HDR is so impactful in games, and the colors and everything look so accurate almost like it was calibrated. Just a shame the TV had such bad tinting to whites and grayscale. If you aren't down to try multiple of these, I'd just wait for a G3 personally.

Got this TV on clearance and have been blown away with the picture quality. A common complaint for OLED televisions is low brightness which has not been an issue with this television. TV speakers are ok but would recommend a soundbar system.

Excellent picture. The remote control is much better than the one that came with the Samsung tv that this LG replaces. Sound is also an improvement from the Samsung, although I still run the sound through my receiver most of the time. Menu is comparable to most smart tvs.

Vivid picture, bold colors, fantastic detail in 4k. Super thin, so it only sits about 1.5” from the wall, which works great in our small space. My one critique is that not all apps are yet available from the tv, which requires casting to the tv instead, and that’s a bit clunky. Hopefully those apps will add LG to their

Honestly so impressed with this tv the only thing I regret is not getting the bigger size! It’s spectacular quality and the colors are gorgeous.

Upgraded from C1 to G2. Significant difference in brightness in SDR and HDR. Incredible picture quality. Most well rounded Flagship TV out of the big three.

The LG G2 is a great Oled television. I also have an LG C1 and the G2 is noticeably brighter. The G2 has fantastic clarity & beautiful colors. Motion is excellent. After a little tweaking & calibration it is fabulous. I recommend changing colorometry in SDR from rec709 to BT2020 to really bring out your colors. The Best Buy hawk squad arrived and had tv & non LG desktop stand assembled, connected to my atmos receiver, . & me up & running in about 90 minutes. Great service by Best Buy staff at the Plant in San Jose & glad I am a total tech member..

TV is awesome... iam a Sony fan but i ended up getting LG tv's for my girlfriend's air bnb's and was impressed with them so when it was time to get a new TV for the bedroom i went with LG G2... the frame is really nice... it's actually light for a 55" tv.. The picture is unbelievable.... very life like.... set up was simple... i still wish LG would include a stand for this model, they do include a wall Mount but i ordered a stand online for it... navigating channels and Netflix and YouTube is a breeze... really impressed... oh and the speakers are 60 watt and sound really good... really don't need a soundbar!

Nice picture. Compared to the same size C2 (55”) we have in another room, this screen is noticeably brighter. Have this is a bedroom where a regular mount would look clunky. Flush mounted high enough in a line of sight to clear my toes while watching in bed. Geek Squad installed with typical professionalism. Heard upcoming C3 will be even brighter. Two minor quips: remote has no backlight and the factory color calibration makes all lips look like they’re covered in lipstick. Wish they had dialed back the red a bit. Again, a minor issue and I could adjust the tint or pay for a calibration.

Excellent picture quality with a ton of features. I will be purchasing a second unit next year.

Love the tv. Great picture. Easy to set up. Has all the options and app for viewing Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the other networks.

Purchased this TV open box at Best Buy in Mission Viejo. Love my LG G2 OLED 77” in the family room and wanted a smart TV in our master bedroom. The picture is amazing and the price was a steal. The TV only had 35 hours on it and there is a super small nick on bezel at the bottom, it’s basically brand new and I saved $500 off the new TV price. Very satisfied!!! Best Buy continues to earn my business with great deals, friendly associates, and the Total Tech membership.

Beautiful, bright & crisp colors. And 55 inches. The baseball game we watched tonight more exciting than ever as we see all the close-up detail.

Outstanding picture quality for gaming, movies, YouTube, etc. The UI is easy and snappy to navigate as well. Just be aware that this TV comes without a stand so if you aren't wall mounting you will need to buy a stand. I used the best buy insignia stand. I also use a soundbar with the tv, but that's my personal preference.

I originally bought Samsung's The Frame tv for my home office but the picture quality was honestly pretty terrible. I exchanged it for the G2 and I couldn't be happier. The picture quality is incredible and not having to put the Samsung one connect box in the wall meant I could truly flush mount, so it looks better aesthetically as well. If you are trying to decide between the two, the G2 is well worth the extra money.
