Upon purchasing a new TV, one has to realize this was to be a major upgrade for me... I had a 32" Samsung flat-screen (with the huge back) before flat-screens were actually THIN. With that being said, my very outdated TV had to go. I knew I wanted at least a 40" and it had to be a SmartTV. Having looked around and reading reviews for hours, I decided the best bang for my buck would be this 55" UHD 4K LG (there was also a 40" on sale, but this deal for the 55" was better). The reviews were better than the rest all across the board: interface, picture, design, service and for the sale at the time, I definitely succeeded in a deal (I'm still comparing prices and I've had the TV for a month and a half). Connecting everything was very simple and setting everything up was a breeze. I'm definitely loving my SmartFeatures and the user interface. Talking to a BestBuy associate and having watched reviews, LG's user hub is one of best designed interface out there at the moment and I really do like it. I got everything I asked for: at least 40", Smart, amazing picture, beautiful design, wonderful interface, and a great deal. Every inch matters - and so does every dollar!

This TV looks great. Set up was super easy. Picture quality is solid and the price was right. I felt like I got everything I wanted without having to break the bank. I have been an fan of LG for some time and once again they did not disappoint.

This TV is a great value and it has all the latest features such as 4K and HDR. Best Buy website doesn't mention that this TV has high dynamic range but in fact it's on the box & this HDR tv gives a beautiful picture when calibrated properly.

I purchased this TV to replace a smaller TV. My expectations were that it would dramatically improve the picture quality from my previous HD TV. It did not. I don't think the issue is the TV itself but the signal coming in from AT&T Uverse. Let's face it, cable companies are not able to adequately provide the equipment to give you a true 4K experience. Back to the TV though, the LG TV is excellent in every way. Viewing straight on or from the sides, the picture is excellent. The various choices available to set up the picture quality, e.g., HDR, in bright lights, in low light, sports, cinema, etc is great. Also, the ease of set up is great. One person can do it. I do think the remote is cheap, but it gets the job done. And the sound is very good for the large room I have it in. All in all, I'm glad I bought it and would highly recommend this TV. Just don't expect to see anything near what you see at Best Buy's wall of TVs.

We all love this tv. It was a GREAT price. Picture is amazing. Love that it is so flat and not too heavy. Setting up the tv to my sound bar was easy. We can turn the tv and sound bar off at the same time.

well i had been looking around for a new TV for my living room for a handful of weeks when i stumbled upon this TV. this was the 1st 4k tv I have ever purchased and after having it a few months now i have to say i am absolutely pleased with it. the picture is amazing, and all of the "smart" features are super convenient. there's something available for each person watching the tv. the ONLY thing i would have to say about it would be that the sound could be better. depending on the background noise of my environment, and the program/channel i am watching, sometimes i feel as if i have to excessively turn up the volume. but this is no big deal, especially since purchasing a sound bar was a plan of mine anyway.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this 55 in 4K tv, I read a ton of reviews and knew this was the TV for me. Purchased it yesterday and so far I am extremely happy with this purchase. Picture is crystal clear and beautiful. The 120 motion rate is pretty good and I haven't noticed any blur when watching sports. The design of this tv with the silver border make it look way more expensive than it was. Smart features are very fast and easy to use. Very happy with this TV!

The tv picture is great. I don't like the chrome frame around the television itself and on the legs of the tv stand. I know that sounds petty and insignificant, but it's ugly. But the television picture and sound is great. I don't like the actual on/off button on the tv; it feels like it's going to just snap off. Again, a minor issue. The tv was well worth the price paid. This smart television is loaded with options, tons of customized settings, has a great picture, is lighter than I thought and all ports and hookups are in the back, which I like. Overall, a good buy.

The setup was extremely difficult. However I am not a technical person at all. I had to call AT&T to figure out how to get it to work. It was something completely stupid in the end that wasn't clear because LG can make their remotes more user friendly. The picture wasn't clear until I changed the HDMI cable to the 4K one I bought. Then it was awesome! For the money it is the best picture and a smart TV! Can't beat it! Only gave it 4 stars for the setup and the remote. We use our Direct TV remote unless we want to use the smart TV options. So, no big deal.

It's an excellent TV. I almost gave it 4 stars but the fact that I can't use miracast on my iPhone is Apple's fault not LG. You can still control really well using LG's app. Hulu needs an update so you can select an individual profile. It would be nice if you could continue scrolling through Hulu with the phone as well once the app was open. Anyways sound and picture are great. Tons of wonderful options. It's my first smart TV and I love it.

Great picture and sound quality. I read the reviews and thought this would be a good TV for me. I didn't need an expensive TV with a lot of bells and whistles but this one was available at a good price with several nice features. It was easy to set up and I had wifi and the smart features ready to go within 10 minutes. If you're looking for a moderately priced TV with good features this is the one for you.

This television was the best purchase I've ever made at Best Buy. I managed to snap it up during one of their 3 day sales and I have never regretted it. The picture quality if phenomenal. The smart features are great and very useful for me since I didn't have a 4k device besides my PC before buying this. With the built in features I was able to immediately start watching 4K YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime. And let me tell you: Watching 4K HDR on Netflix and Amazon is BEAUTIFUL. A word of warning for those new to HDR: It's being sold as a feature relating to colors, but really it's more about brightness. The darks will be darker and the brights will be brighter. So I do recommend doing a little bit of calibrating with an episode of The Grand Tour or something when you first try it so you're not surprised when that HDR movie you wanted to watch suddenly goes to a night scene and it looks like the screen is completely black.

All I can say is I love it love it love it. Excellent picture, good sound (although I use a surround sound system, I did try out the speakers too), easy to use nav and lots of features. Also so far my Logitech 830 wireless keyboard works flawlessly with this tv. It pulls up the Nav 3.0 and runs thru it like a charm using menu keys on the keyboard, the mouse works great too. My desktop computer, xbox, phone and tablet look amazing with the TV. Like I said I love it.

Liked the look and quality of this tv. The price was great, set up was easy, and the picture was pretty good for the price.

I had gotten a Samsung smart, 4K, 3D TV a year ago. It was time to replace the Brand X bedroom TV. I was sold on Samsung, obviously, so I began to look at the 55" 4K's and found a model clearance sale. The price was good, so I ordered another Best Buy TV. The online experience is easy, delivery was on time, and I am now happily using my new TV. I'm very happy with it.

Evening though I went in to buy a Samsung, the knowledge of the salesperson answering my questions for the $ amount that I was looking to spend helped me to decide on the LG. Pleased with the product and support readily available on the TV along with all the features. Hook up was simple, exploring the set with my wife and 22 year old son was family time. Now my 12 year old daughter shows me things 3 weeks later that I hadn't found. Very good purchase.

This has great color. Easy to use. Sounds very nice for built in speakers.

From delivery to setup, this 4k tv is excellent in size, thin'ness, weight, setup, and usage. I'm a big fan of LG tv's and this is yet another great product from LG. Very pleased with it. I was able to carry the tv easily too from my garage, all the way upstairs where I unboxed and setup everything. It is such a relatively 'light' (in weight) tv. Around 50 lbs.

I have been more than happy with my purchase. Clear picture and a I love the smart TV capabilities. When streaming 4K and up scaled true 1080P content it is very clear. When watching content through my cable box (1080i) the picture can get a little blurry at times when there is a lot of movement due to the up scaling. I was able to adjust the scaling settings for that input and it helped to alleviate some of this. Great TV for the price!

The TV is light weight and is very clear. You can see the pores of the people on the television. Couldn't complain about the price of the TV for the quality. We were looking for a new TV for so long and I stumbled upon this online. LG has definitely increased the quality of their TVs over the years. Will definitely buy one again
