This TV has a great picture, sound, and overall quality. The HDR is also really nice.

Our 42" LG flatscreen was awesome when we bought it but this 4K 55" is definitely is his daddy. Fantastic picture that you never get tired of watching. Only one I like less about this tv. My previous had a slightly thicker frame around the edges and was solid black where this one is a grey chrome color. I liked the black frame better. There cheaper tvs but I have had very good results with the LG brand

This is one of seven televisions in my home. Three of which are smart TV's. I love my LG. I wont elaborate on the manufacturer of the others as to not degrade their products, however this LG television is by far the best. The operator friendliness, of all the functions is outstanding and the quality of the display it delivers is unrivaled. You wont regret this purchase, trust me.

First and foremost, this TV isn't your top of the line or flagship lineup with all the latest and greatest. This TV isn't what is featured at CES. It's not. This TV isn't going to be the prized possessions of "main TVs" or home theaters. it's not trying to be. This isn't your 300M dressed to look like a Phantom. This TV is your basic entry into the 4K world of TVs w/o breaking the bank. It's a basic 4K without all the bells and whistles. Now with all of that said, this TV simply gets the job done. Out of the box it's a good TV, but after you spend some time adjusting the settings, it becomes an even better TV. Netflix looks great (we don't have the 4k package yet). Hulu looks great. Watch ESPN looks great. Even Disney Jr looks good! If you don't need the latest and greatest with your TV, you should consider this one. lastly, we had to replace our plasma TV, so getting used to the color and images on the TV took some getting used to, but so far we have no complaints. I can't comment on the speakers b/c we use a soundbar

Not a bad tv, did not come with the magic remote so you might think to pay an additional $60 to buy the remote because it has compatibility built in. Speakers aren't very loud so I bought a sound bar with wireless subwoofer and that really brings the tv alive. I use the tv mostly for Netflix. When I turn the tv off and then back on, it still has Netflix up and running so I don't have to flip through and open the app again. Lg 55" 4K tv for under $600. We'll worth it.

I would recommend this TV. The picture is great as are the Smart features.
