If you research this TV on other sites, you will see countless instances of this problem. Apparently, LG is notorious for this, but unfortunately for me, I relied on the 5 star Best Buy reviews. I wish I had done better research. I had a repair person look at it, and the entire motherboard is fried!! The part alone is over 200 bucks, and when I spoke to Geek squad, I was told it would be around $450 - $500 to fix it. I suppose it's my fault for not purchasing protection (I usually do). I just expect that a TV should last for years. Not this one. It's not even worth it to get fixed. My advice? Go with an established brand like Samsung!

Don’t Buy LG if you want to watch Apps
