    Bad buy

    Ok, this is a very honest review! Bought this tv on Sunday. Got it home and when I took the tv out of the box to lay it down to install the legs, I heard a rattling sound. The screen panel was not secured to the bezels and was flopping around inside. Next was the black border at the bottom of the screen. I could see the 2 far right light devices at the bottom bleeding through the bottom border. No matter what I did with settings it was still bleeding through. Another thing was that to use some if the features in this tv, I was required to give permission to privacy issues I am not willing to hand over to LG or anyone else. I also read that the hdmi ports go bad but didnt wait for that to hapen. No HBO app either and Im not buying an extra fire stick for that. This tv went back to Bestbuy and I will never buy another intrusive cheap tv like this again. Do not buy this tv!

    Terrible picture

    Bought this tv with high expectations, returned it 3 days later after terrible results. As soon as the screen came on, I knew it wasn't good. I have a Sony 65" XBR900 in my main living room, so I decided to buy the 55" LG4K for my other living room to save a little money. It's 2019, I figured the picture can't be that bad, technology has come a long way. The menu to set up this tv has got to be the most confusing to use, there is no reason for this. I am pretty technically advanced, LG needs to go back to the drawing board on this issue. I went through every screen setting for 2 days to give it a chance to no avail. It looked like there was a soft white screen blurring the picture. Packed it up and returned it, and bought another Sony 65" XBR900. I guess the old saying is true, you get what you pay for.

    Horrible WiFi Connectivity

    I'm returning this tomorrow for this exact reason. I've had the television for about two weeks. I watch live TV through Hulu Live. Every morning the TV will not reconnect. My WiFi modem is in the same room less than 10' away and running at 375 mb/s. At first I had to attempt to reconnect by re-entering my password a couple of times. Each day it has gotten worse. Now it won't connect at all. All other Firestick, computer, and mobile device are connected and working great. This simply now refuses to connect. If WiFi Connectivity is important you should keep looking.

    LGTV white spots

    I bought the LG 55LB5900 a couple of years ago from Best Best. 4 White spots (manufacturers defect with glue and LED) now appear, see photo. Also, the brightness has decreased. It is a common problem and LG has terrible customer service. They wanted to charge me $125 for the LG tech to show up plus whatever it took to fix the issue. Maybe $1000? I would never buy a LG tv or product again. I would buy another brand from Best Buy. Best Buy has the best selection.

    #1 HDMI port Died after 5 Days

    I have had this tv for only 5 days, worked great last night and then this morning I get a no signal message on hdmi 1. I switched hdmi cables and still nothing but port 2 works though, I looked on the lg site and it seems to be a common issue with these TVs. Beautiful tv when it is working...Returning ASAP and buying a different brand!!!

    Poor quality TV

    The first tv the Geek Squad brought didn't have a picture, so they went and got another LG. Second one wasn't much better. Poor picture quality and after two days the picture would shrink. The picture would suddenly only cover 2/3's of the screen. Had to turn off the tv and restart it. After a couple days, it did the same thing. Went with a Sony and now have a excellent tv. Had excellent service with Best Buy employees.

    Stay Away

    Purchased this TV from Best Buy on Black Friday. TV broke about 1 month ago. LG has sent 3 people with different or wrong parts to try fix it. Nobody has a clue what is wrong and LG will not send a replacement. Stay away from LG and their horrible customer service.

    Never buy LG again

    After only 18 months, the tv quit working. Have had it repaired 3 times for the same issue - LED lights malfunction and will not turn on. Finally gave up and will need to purchase another tv - certainly not LG!

    This is ridiculous, I have only had this TV for 3 weeks and the HDMI port 2 went out, 1 and 3 work as of now but really! Will not be wasting my time on any LG products.

    Not worth it. Exchanged for Samsung

    The LG was disappointing. Colors weren't sharp and the black areas on the picture were more gray. Exchanged the TV for a Samsung Model which has turned out to be awesome.

    Bought a TV brought it home took plastic off of screen and it was cracked I had it less that 24 hours best buy wouldnt do a thing from store level to corporate

    I have had wifi connection issues since day one. Just google it. Everyone is having the same problem. Until they fix this issue, stay away from this tv!

    I tried 100 times to fix the foot or legs of the tv and I couldn't. It fall down and the screen is damaged. Am very very disappointed.

    All tv's look good playing the store demo but when you get it home and hook it up the picture sucks & all sports look taped on vhs.
