I've always been a Sony person when it comes to TV. With the price and quality of LG made me want to try it. As with most big TVs, it's not complete without a soundbar as the speakers are pointed down. This is my first LG TV so I am still trying to get familiar with it but so far so good no complaints here.

Ease of transferring info from one Mac Pro to another! Fast and amazing! My last Mac Pro was 10 years ago and I've used it since this one! Pricey yes but it's an Apple!

GARBAGE!!!!! Do not buy this TV. I have a few months left on my warranty. It's complete Junk. I'll never buy LG again. It's always dropping the WiFi and the only way to fix it, is a full reset losing all your logs ins. And even if you don't reset it, it randomly loses all your log ins. An absolute disaster.
1 out of 3 times you turn it on, it's stuck at a black screen saying "smart services will be available shortly" it just freezes there. Turn it on and off, let it sit, I have actually had to go use a TV in the other room because I could not get past this frozen screen.
BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY A LG SMART TV.

Good quality TV for the price. This is my 2nd LG after 13 years. I bought different brands in-between, but they did not last long. Picture is good and so as the sound. The remote sometimes freezes up. The legs support is terrible. The TV wobbles and I am afraid that it will fall. I had to attached something at the back of the TV and into the wall to make it sturdy. I can't believe LG engineers design it that way. It seems like they design it to be hung on the wall.

Amazing High Definition Smart TV!

This LG 55" 4K HDR Smart LED UHD TV is the best TV that I've owned! It has so many features that I enjoy so much such as apps, several picture settings, great sound, and high definition viewing experience! The apps that this TV has pre-installed are Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, YouTube, YouTube Kids, Google Play Movies & TV, Disney+, Vudu, Showtime, Starz, Redbox, AMC Theaters on Demand, Sling and so many more! Most smart TVs don't have YouTube Kids and Disney+ so this is a definite must for people with young kids. This makes it convenient to have a nice family night! I also love that the home button allows you to see all of the apps while still being able to view the app that you are currently using. It was such a hassle with my previous TV having to exit the app to see the home screen! In the picture settings, it gives several options for viewing such as Standard, Cinema, HDR effect, Vivid, and Filmmaker. I love the Cinema mode for watching movies because it gives a theater like effect for viewing. The HDR effect mode has such good quality for viewing TV shows and movies on the apps that are compatible with this mode. The Vivid mode has a very bright and sharp picture quality that is great for animated shows and movies. I love watching films in the wide viewing screen that most of these modes have set! The sound quality on this TV is so good that I don't have to connect it to my soundbar and speakers. It has a bold sound that is loud enough so that you don't have to have the volume turned up to hear. The sound is so clear and crisp that I don't have to rewind a show or movie to understand what people are saying. The remote is easy to use and has a shortcut button for Netflix for easy access. I like that the numbers are located at the top of remote. It also has a home button that allows easy access to all of the apps. This makes the experience so much more enjoyable! Overall, LG is a great brand, especially for valuable, quality smart TV that gives the whole family a great viewing experience!

It has Component Video for Older sources that use them. It's NOT a Amazon or Roku dependant TV(4 me that's a Good Thing). The wifi connectivity is pretty simple & strong if house modem/router is Strong. The Mobile phone Connectivity is good but, Miracast or Chromecast TV'S In other parts of the House will take Priority if Streaming on Phone & if You try to use TV screen as a Display. The Picture is Excellent. It has Apps Unique to LG that could be a Problem if you want More than Netflix,Hulu, Prime TV, Google Movie & YouTube. I like the Korean Culure centric Apps or Channels. Oh it has its own Channels as well like cable but are Unique to LG I like The K-pop Channel the others I'm still in the process of checking out. If you want to Hook-up Bluetooth headphones you'll have to Buy a Soundbar or have a Pre-existing A/V System to use the Headphones. OR use a Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver I use a Vissound device I got from Amazon it's so Powerful I can walk around my Cousin's 3 Story house (2 above/below grd) The TV's in the Basement. Last but not least is the Remote it's not Backlit, it(TV) would be a 5star Rating even for Key buttons like Directional pad &/or
# buttons were backlit, yet the remote buttons are spaced out pretty well for small surface area.Oh I forgot get angled Connectors (Optical, HDMI,USB,etc...)if You are Using a Bracket Wall/Table if you are not going to use legs that come with the TV the Bracket will shorten space for Standard Connectors so the Tips or Cords connected will be Compromised so connected devices may not Work or use will be intermittent because of awkward positions of Connectors if They're not Broken.

I purchased a 49 inch LG TV a year ago and was very happy with it. So I knew LG TVs were good. I think they have one of the best pictures out there for the money. Had it delivered and it was very easy to setup. The smart TV menu is very easy to operate and understand. Has the latest apps (Disney plus, Apple TV, etc.).

I've had this tv for about 2 months now, and I really love it! I wanted to upgrade to a larger TV that wouldn't completely break the bank, and I'm so glad I purchased this. Set up for this tv is a breeze. Upon turning it on, I was already excited about movie nights with my family. The picture is clear, vibrant, and everything you'd expect in a 4K UHD tv. The audio is great; cinema mode and the ability to adjust surround sound helped to make my living room feel more like a theater. It's a smart tv so it has Hulu, Disney+, and other apps already programmed onto the tv which is definitely a feature I appreciate. Our family mostly uses the firestick for our tv, but when it comes to movie nights, we switch back to the TV and use the apps that are programmed. The picture quality is much better when you're watching from TV mode as opposed to using other devices connected to your tv. All in all, I have no complaints. I am definitely pleased with my purchase, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

I’m a gamer, picture is beautiful once you start finding all the right settings. Vibrant colors and the sound is incredible even without surround sound. Would definitely recommend this product. Set up was a breeze, all connections are simple and I can also AirPlay.

We upgraded our 10 year old 46" LG TV tjat is still going strong. Upgrading to 4k was life changing to say the least. Very simple set up, and sound quality is amazing. I'd recommend trying it out before purchasing a sound bar. The picture is super crisp and the price is awesome.

Just bought this TV. Color looks great. TV is light weight. One benefit I saw, it comes with free IP TV channels, meaning if you have Internet connection to your TV, it lets you stream all free live TVs for free. I was able to see about 100 free live TVs. It comes with all features of a smart 4K UHD TV with HDR. Nice color and contrast.

Nice picture, well packed and easy to setup. For the price, it's an awesome TV. The remote control is a little picky, once in awhile it lags or you have to keep pressing the buttons to get it to work; and other times it works great. My only complaint

I purchased this 55 under a BestBuy Sale for $325. I start there because for that price this is an excellent TV. The Picture is good with dark blacks and great contrast. You need to go to advanced settings and disable the energy saving feature. That feature causes the picture to be dull and dim. I have a Roku and this TV has that built in and both seem to perform about the same. I have mine paired with an LG Sound bar and once setup the Roku Remote will run everything, power on/off, volume and apps. It supports 4K but thats alot of hype since almost all content is filmed 1080 and upscaled and most cable companies can't deliver 4k content. Even the Xbox Games show 4k intro's but multiplayer game play is only 1080. At this price you get a lot of value and its engineering is new for 2019 so your on current supported model.
