Went into Best Buy to purchase a particular tv and with the help of the store associate came out with a better deal. Very satisfied with the picture quality and the ease of use. Awesome tv!!

I am going to admit up front that I have only had the TV for about a week but I have tested many of the features in that time. I am a stickler for sound so I was surprised by the sound this TV produces, it isn't surround system quality but it is darn close. The bass isn't great but it is there and the sound field makes it seem much bigger than it really is. The picture is incredible. I am coming from a failing Samsung 4K set that only lasted 1.5yrs but it was a high middle end TV that had a good picture - this one is much better. Is it like an OLED? No the picture isn't quite to that level but it is very close and you only notice in certain situations where the room is dark and you have a dark scene or area. Otherwise, the colors and the clarity are top notch. The remote could be better because it is not backlit, however, it is easy to use and fairly well designed. The LG operating system seems smooth and clear, finding apps is simple. I do have a Yamaha surround system that I run everything through so that complicated things a little but with the ARC HDMI connection, even the apps on the TV can play sound through my surround system. All-in-all, it was a great choice and I hope LG has better quality than Samsung. Time will tell but right now I couldn't be happier.

If you're not wanting to spend top dollar for top of the line newest technology but you don't want the bottom of the barrel cheap 60hz TVs. This is a good mid level TV. 120 hz refresh rate plus an HDMI 2.1 input is a nice bonus. There is some slight blooming, but it can be reduced with the right settings.

Returned a Samsung due to dim picture and terrible video performance. Chose this based on the reviews and the recommendation of the salesman. LG made an amazing panel with this one! Clear, bright, and great performance right out of the box! Remote is super cool as well! Worth the money!

After researching TVs, I selected this model based on performance reviews for picture clarity and sound quality. Not mentioned in the reviews, was the ease of use. I had no trouble at all setting up the TV and navigating through settings. I am very happy with this product.

I have been looking for a TV for quite a while to replace my 11 year old Samsung. I was looking to purchase an LG OLED or Samsung QLED when this one was the deal of the day. I needed a TV with a center stand so I would not have to replace my existing TV stand and this fit the bill. I am very pleased with the picture quality in any lighting. The colors are true and the blacks are black. I have not noticed any blooming. The stand was perfect for my TV stand but seams flimsy. If you touch the TV it shakes and feels really loose. It is enough to make me worry that it will break if bumped. Web OS is great especially compared to Samsung. Having Alex and google built in is a definite advantage over Samsung too. I am so happy I purchased this TV and will never go back to Samsung after using this one. I do not use a sound bar and I am very pleased with the sound this TV produces. I would definitely recommend to everyone. The reason I only gave four stars in quality is the flimsy stand.

Impressed with the LG Nano 9 Series

When our 2 year old Samsung 4K UHD bit the dust, we had to start looking for a new set. Having been the second Samsung to fail in 5 years, we needed to try something else. At first, I was drawn to OLED, and although that technology will continue to improve, the reports of screen burn in sacred me. That lead me to LG’s next best, the Nano 9. Upon powering up, we made the right decision. Setup was fairly straight forward and the pointer on the remote was kind of cool. We have a Harmony Ultimate so I did not need the factory remote. I did some basic color adjustments and so far, very pleased. The apps work, but I use Apple TV and Xfinity X1, so the LG apps don’t get used much. Only time will tell but so far very happy with the picture quality. One HUGE difference, the sound is much better than any prior flat panel I have owned. LG managed to fit some subwoofers in the thing (or at least it sounds like it). Our prior Samsung had a tinny sound from the speakers - but the Nano 9 has much richer sound. I don’t need to turn on the receiver as much now that the sound is so much better.

we went a model over we oroginally intended. The backlight is great for the dimming zones, yet you still can see some aura in some images. A great value added are the LG ip channels for free. the magic remote is very practical. The stand is not great and it doesn’t swivel.

The picture is crisp, and refresh rate keeps up with even the rolling ocean waves on my nature shows. It looks like I'm acrually there! I've rewatched so many movies to enjoy the new picture quality

This TV is the perfect size for above our family room fireplace. Even if sitting off to the side, the picture is as clear as if you are directly in front of it. Color is rich, picture is crisp, and I love the features it has to offer.

Slightly larger 55" size screen was perfect for my space; anything larger would have not been a good fit. Seems like good resolution, and I like the remote with instant connection to Prime and Alexa. Still getting familiar with it so I'm not too savvy yet.

We've only owned Samsung TVs since the first Plasma displays came out (literally, we had one of the first made in development). We have loved their color reproduction and sharpness. We looked for several months before making the choice and took a chance on this LG because of the sharpness of the dark colors due to the direct lit display. My wife and kids are gamers and we wanted this detail. We are VERY pleased with the shadows, grays and distinction of the dark details. The other colors are very true to life and we are very glad we purchased this TV. Excellent upgrade from our 10 year old Samsung. The detail in 4K is outstanding! My family also loves the smart TV features as well as the pointer type remote. Very good TV for the $850 price.

I needed to replace my TV set. This LG has worked out nicely both in size and quality. It has a sharp picture with excellent color tones. The size does not overwhelm the room.

In the last hand full of years i haven't had much luck with TV's lasting. So the TV i bought prior to this one i figured buy an extended store warranty. that TV was a 55" LG 3D TV and WOW I enjoyed every 3D movie i watched on it. Unfortunately, it died after only having it 2 years and 8 months :(. I'm so glad i had that warranty. Unfortunately, they don't make 3d TV's any longer. This 55" TV was my warranty replacement. 3 years newer picture quality improvement. the software menu's have improved, don't get me wrong i enjoy what i watch with it. the only reason i don't give 5 stars is. this TV probably wont last much longer that the 2years 8 months like the other one and it doesn't have 3D. :( Please bring back 3D.

This is a beautiful television. We had been doing a little research and based on all the specs and features, decided this was the one for us. Excellent choice! We are very happy with our purchase. Set up was easy, the picture quality is spectacular and the sound is awesome. I can't stop watching all my favorite dvds on this tv and see what a big difference from my old tv.
