I just recently purchased this TV and am quite happy about it. the colors are vibrant and the picture quality is excellent. The magic remote takes a bit of getting used to but its definitely fun to use and innovative. I'm also loving the tru motion refresh rate feature. The feature I was most surprised by was the amazing sound quality. It sounds like being in an IMAX movie theater. My advice would be to explore the picture and audio settings to find what's most suitable for you and to not miss out on the full range of its capabilities. the only negative is that when not watching 4k or HD content, its a pretty bad picture since this TV was made for high resolution. Also the base is a little flimsy which would scare me if I had small children or pets that could knock into the TV stand. Great TV overall though

it's a great 4k television for its price. the colors are vivid and rich. the sound is deep and loud. the only thing i'm not crazy about is the magic remote which has the pointed cursor. i love the voice activated part of the remote though. i wish the 43" has the Nano Cell as well, but they only have the 49" which is too big for my bedroom. overall, this product is great and i recommend it!

I've had this tv for a month and believe that, for the price, it can't be beat. The picture is pretty amazing, as is the sound, both of which offer versatile and worthwhile settings. The interface is easy to navigate and my cats love to follow the on-screen pointer offered by the magic remote. There's some slight brightness around the edges, but it IS an edge-lit screen and doesn't bother me in the least.

Excellent picture/sound quality, great table stand

Excellent picture and, especially, sound quality. No dead pixels, no problems, just what we were hoping for from LG (we also have a 14-year old LG refrigerator and an newly purchased LG dryer, both of which are excellent). Our Blu Ray player is a Sony S6700 (we have two of these). We used it to play the most recent install in the MIB series (on Blu Ray, of course!). Table stand is a sturdy, space-efficient design that makes TV easy to fit on most sturdy surfaces. It has grippy rubber feet which makes it so that the TV cannot be slid on the surface to change its position - it has to be lifted up and placed in its new position. We have our TV mounted on a table, which sits on a hardwood floor, so it is easier for us to slide the table into position so the TV faces our couch when watching it, and then we slide the table back against the wall when we are done. Easy and intuitive to activate/setup TV. Remote control operates like a mouse with a cursor, which is convenient. The scroll wheel functions as an "enter" button. Rear panel on TV is very thin and flimsy feeling - oilcans easily. This is a $500 55" TV, so it is what it is... Receives 5g Wifi, so it can receive data at higher bandwidths and speeds. We bought the 5-year Geek Squad extended warranty, just in case. Hopefully, it won't be needed.

Beautiful picture with easy setup. Pairs well with the AppleTV 4K but cones with a host of apps built in. The price was amazing for a TV this nice looking. I love the way the cords are managed within the rear compartment. Makes for a nice clean uncluttered look. I would definitely recommend this TV for someone looking for a great TV on a budget.

For the price, this is the TV you want. We have a 65" LG Oled in our living room and decided to buy another TV for our bedroom but did not want to pay for the price of an OLED (full-array). I did tons of research and ended up pulling the trigger on this TV, and we couldn't be happier. The one thing I will say is that there is a setting that should be turned off for you to truly enjoy this TV - it is a setting called "local dimming" that does NOT work well on an edge lit TV. It causes an effect that almost looks like flashlights shining from the edge of the TV that can be really distracting/annoying on darker scenes.

This is my second LG television. I purchased this one after having good luck with an OLED in my main TV room. I am unfortunately quite disappointed with this set. I should have known better after having owned an OLED, but the local dimming and bleed-through on this set is so distracting. There are vertical bands on the screen that easily demarcate the individual dimming zones whenever there is a high contrast between light and dark. For instance on the Netflix loading screen the background of the whole middle section is kind of gray and there is a sharp vertical line where the backlights are off on both sides of the N logo. The color is great and the menus are easy to use, I'm just really disappointed in the backlighting. If you're going to use this in a darker room, I'd probably pass.

Have only had this a few days now but I am very glad I purchased this TV. It is very easy to program and use and the TV guide which it displays for local antenna channels is super. I am being spoiled by the excellent picture quality also.

The color on this sets excellent. That's the firstling we noticed. Secondly, we were pleasantly surprised that the sound on this flat screen was actually very good (I bought a sound bar for our previous much older flat screen). The minus is the LG OS. It is okay but far from intuitive. While I appreciate the free LG channels, there are times when the LG OS wants you to view it's stations, and it is difficult to chose other options. Hopefully they will update their OS so it is more intuitive.

Awesome TV with great definition/color and I absolutely love the built in apps and remote. One really cool feature is the LGTV app that includes a lot of local news channels, as well as some mainstream news, and plenty of movie and entertainment channels, all included with this TV! The remote has a very convenient function, where say for instance you need to type something, instead of clicking through each letter on a keyboard that’s displayed, you can use this remote as a “mouse” and just point and click! Great purchase

Not the most expensive tv or the highest pixels-- but the picture is amazing (and I've lived 30 years without ever missing seeing the hairs on a bee's butt, so I don't think anything is lacking with this video quality!) Selected this one specifically for the center support to fit a smaller tv stand. (plus, you can't rotate a tv with 2 separate feet--makes it difficult to access the back of the tv in a corner placement like ours!)

Decided to upgrade my bedroom tv with this 55' inch lg nano tv. It was a great decision. The picture is crisp and vibrant. First time getting a 4k tv. I can really tell the difference in picture quality. The magic remote is very useful. Fits great in hand. Very easy to maneuver the options with the remote. Overall very pleased with purchase.

Has everything u would expect/want from a smart tv & wasn’t too heavy I was able to set it up,carry it to my room & place it on my dresser within minutes of taking it out the box after it was delivered. Great buy! =D

Great picture and sound. One of the best things I like is the remote is connected by Radio Frequency, not Blue Tooth. So, you don't need direct line of sight from remote to TV set. I can control the TV set even if I'm in another room.

This TV has good quality image, it changes automatically it’s settings to the specific feature that you are using (like movies and video game). It is easy to use and I really like the voice command remote that works for both the smart TV features and cable (I don’t need to pay for the fancy Xfinity plan)

This tv is amazing from the perfect color to ease of use. Everything and everyone is so lifelike and clear on every HD channel we watch. It was simply plug in and watch, no fine tuning or calibration necessary as in some other brands. The 55” is the perfect size for our small living room.

Great picture quality and has many different ways to adjust the picture the way you want it. I like the Smart web OS that has many of the apps i use already listed. I also like the option of using the space at the back of the stand to organize wires with a cover to keep them in place and hidden.

I've had this TV going on 1 week. The sound and picture is exceptionally clear. I've had issues with picture quality being altered when switching between cable TV and applications like Netflix and Hulu, but this TV maintains the same picture quality across all platforms. The TV remote offers more options and is pretty easy to use. So far, I don't have any complaints.
