Great 4k TV for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good for the money, has a thorough selection of settings to adjust the picture quality and even audio. I stream Netflix, Amazon video, youtube from here and the 4k quality is crisp and colorful. My only problems with it is there is noticeable backlight bleed on the edges in dark scenes, and setting the Backlight Dim to off helps contrast in dark scenes, so dont expect OLED blacks here. Dont have an Xbox Series X so I didnt test the 120 fps.

We now have 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second 55" 85 Series LG NanoCell we have purchased. The first was wall mounted in our den. My wife and I have enjoyed the color and clarity of it so much that we purchased a second one as a wall mount in our bedroom. No, it's not an OLED or a QLED but, it is still an outstanding TV for the money. Very easy to mount, set up and start watching. If we would have not liked the first one, we would have not bought the second one.

Great TV, horrible manual and troubleshooting tips
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is awesome! The colors and the picture are amazing. It took some getting used to at first because the picture was so different than our 5 year old flat screen. We weren't used to such definition and clarity. The one issue we had was that when we hooked up out Blu-ray player using the same HDMI cable as we had used with the old set, we had no sound. It worked fine with the old set, but, no matter what setting I changed, nothing worked. We tried every setting change we could think of and did everything in the manual and what we saw online, nothing worked. The Roku sound bar worked fine, but nothing out of the Blu-ray player. The manual was NO help what so ever. After following the diagnostic tree, the last thing is says is call a technician. NO, I'm not calling a technician to my house so I can wait all day for someone to come look at my brand new TV. I finally found this odd looking electrical connector in the box. It had an old fashioned RCA type plug for the back of the TV with 3 RCA jacks that hooked up to an RCA cable that would go to the back of the Blu-ray player. After plugging that little connector in and digging around in that box of cables they say you'll never use again, I found an RCA cable with Red, White, and Yellow plugs. I hooked everything up and plugged it into the Blu-ray player and presto, we had sound. I just can't believe such a high tech TV had to be hooked up with such old fashioned cables to get sound from the Blu-ray player.

Great Tv, can be a little better for movies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv just for my Xbox series X and I can not lie, this tv is awesome.. The 120fps makes every game you play run real smooth.. Everything looks real clear and sounds great as well.. The only thing I have a issue with is when I’m watching movies, I feel like the picture quality can be better.. But it’s really not a big deal.. Other then that the tv is great and I recommend it to anyone that has any of the new systems.

Best of the best TVs out now
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this tv all around, and is simply amazing especially if you’re into gaming I use it mostly for my Xbox series X. Even down to little things like the remote it’s self is awesome along with the TVs interface and layout. 10/10

Good TV darks could be better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a major upgrade for me. True HD makes all movies and shows look amazing. I bought it for it’s variable refresh rate and 120 Hz capabilities. The tv instantly upgraded my gaming experience. The only negative I have is that when showing darker content the tv will light up a bit too bright, in other words the darks aren’t dark enough. With that being said I wasn’t going to spring for an OLED. I’m happy with my purchase.

55 inches of awesomeness.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG nano cell TV has an awesome picture a 55 inch. It also has webos you can look at your Gmail on it. Picture on this is 4K. If you have enough to date receiver and leave make a picture look a whole lot better. It has Dolby digital Dolby surround. If you get enough speakers you can get Dolby Atmos. I really get some great sound then.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The high refresh rate and game mode makes it perfect for gaming with the new PS5. Very good response time and it even has the capability for 120hz! I turned off the local dimming feature because it could become a little too noticeable in really dark scenes. Overall, great tv!

Too Cool For Words .. Watch It.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was a breeze. Very light. Good over-the-air tuner, pick up a lot of free TV with indoor antenna. Gaming is excellent. 4K is sharp and smooth with no motion issues. Does auto firmware updates. Can manually adjust picture, default is very bright. Limited inputs though.

All-LG TV household
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love our LG TVs. The HDMI inputs on our previous 55" 4K--bought in 2014--fried this summer (possibly due in part to a huge lightning strike in the neighborhood last year). We bought a new 55" LG without hesitation. Excellent picture and built-in sound. Magic Remote also very good (our 65" basement LG has a "regular" remote--it's awful).

Great TV for next gen gaming consoles
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV for the PlayStation 5. It has a 120hz, 4K display that makes games look crisp and run smoothly. I also like the magic remote that comes with it. It's voice activated and has a mouse lcursor when you point it at the TV. It's display is bright and the HDR is a step up from previous LG Tvs. I recommend it.

GREAT TV and GREAT PRICE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So happy to have selected the LG brand television. We have had it only a couple of weeks and are so pleased with this unit overall. The color is fabulous. We have also found this to be user friendly to access all of the offered features. I highly recommend this specific LG model to others.

Great for that Student Apartment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for my son's new off-campus apartment. Excellent picture performance, quality, and sound including gaming. TV has many great screen viewing options for enjoying any program type. Easy internet hook-up. Cons are that HBO Max and Discovery+ are not available on LG's WebOS yet.

Nice TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has a great picture and I like the operating system better than other brands. The gallery feature is a nice touch and makes the tv really look like framed art. The supplied magic remote is very easy to use and offers a lot of control. Picture is bright and very clear.

Great picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how crystal clear the screen is while I'm watching tv and playing games. It almost feels like I'm in the TV. The price is reasonable for the size and quality of the tv. All of the apps are down below the screen and easy to use. I would recommend this tv to everyone.

Nice TV, poor remote
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice TV - purchased for a PS5 because of it's 120hz refresh rate. It has nice colors, nice blacks. Happy with it in most aspects. The menus could be improved on to be a bit more user friendly, and the Wii-like remote is horrible... trying to get too fancy with a remote that doesn't need to be fancy.
