I compared a lot of TVs before buying this one. I wanted exceptional quality with a great interface and that is exactly what this TV is. Not only is the quality of the picture superior to anything I have seen, the Web OS interface is simple, yet powerful. The voice-controlled remote works perfectly and it has all my favorite built-in apps. I was able to stop using my Roku when I bought this TV. If you want the best quality TV with an outstanding array of colors, this is the TV for you.

It's hard to find a word in the English language to describe how beautiful this tv is when u turn it on. I use it mostly for gaming. The input lag is around 20-21ms so it's super responsive to controls. Not a minute has passed since I bought this tv that my mind ever thought of regret. I would highly recommend this tv for any one who is looking to buy a 4k tv. I've had Samsung tv's my whole life and decided to make a leap of faith with LG OLED and couldn't be any happier with my decision.

I had a plasma for a while but then it died and shortly after got a Samsung LED 4K TV but it pails in comparsion to the sheer quality of OLED. This TV is stunning, the picture quality is second to none, the best LED doesn’t even come close. The black levels are spectacular, pretty much perfect and HDR looks incredible. 4K blu-rays, regular blu-rays, games on Xbox One X , PS4 Pro, and and Nintendo Switch look unbelievable. If you’re thinking about buying a 4K tv, the LG OLED b7 is by far the best choice.

I did a lot of research before I purchased. However once I saw the OLED, it all flew out the window. What a picture. You feel as if you are right there. Since I only buy TVs every so often I wanted something that could take me there at least for a few years. I was fortunate to have gotten it during a sale so it was affordable. (that term is relative) One thing though with those skinny TVs, a sound bar is a must. I bet it would be unbelievable for gaming.

So we had the TV for about a week or so and I absolutely loved the contrast this TV offered. The blacks looked terrific and the colors were gorgeous to look at. The only reason why I returned it was because 55" was too small for our living room unit and the 65" was out of my price point. Decided to get Samsung 65" 8 series instead. Even though I switched to Samsung, LG knocked it out of the park when it comes to picture quality. I just wish it was a little bit cheaper, maybe in the near future.

the lg b7a great tv with a room for improvement, the tv itself with 4k content is one of the best, i compared it with twice priced tvs. upscaling is another story, with old movies and tv shows picture its a bit but not far from the more expensive tv, if you a willing to spend almost double the cost, you will get a bit better picture on old movies and tv programs, but remember, i had spoken with some tv provider and they will soon be able to catch up with 4 k programs.

If you can afford a television that costs upward of $1500 then there is no other choice than the OLED TVs from LG. I got the B7 (entry level model) and I am still awestruck by the amazing picture quality that this television is capable of producing. Pure blacks make the contrast to the color just striking and makes viewing most movies a mesmerizing experience. You have to see it yourself. Like I say, if you have the money...run, don't walk and get one while they are still on the shelves.

The LG OLED 55" B7A is a great TV. The WebOS interface is fast and responsive, which makes switching inputs and launching apps a breeze. The OLED panel produces some very bright, saturated colors and the infinite black levels are great for watching movies. While most TVs don't have great sound, this one holds its own. Sure, a dedicated receiver would sound much better, but for normal everyday use, it's passable. Overall, this is a great TV. Highly recommended.

We love OLED. It took almost an hour to conclude buying this TV. We were getting 65 inch at the same price but the quality of LG OLED is amazing and we ended up buying it. Sales guy at best buy are marvelous they explained us all the differences fairly. Terrific store people at Best buy and no pushing business. We like the smart tv features, and the tv looks great when watching high quality sources. The darks are dark and once you get it calibrated it's a gorgeous picture. Best I've seen.

OLED lives up to its name as providing the best picture. The blacks are so black with no shadowing or blooming so dark scenes are amazing. Initial setup is interactive and kind of fun. My only dislike about this tv is the audio/video syncing. It is terrible. Had the problem on the 55, 65 and the soundbar. If picture is your focus, this is the tv to get. If the fact that audio and video doesn’t sync up 100%, look else where.

    Best Televison You Can Purchase!

I purchased this television about 5 months ago I have played DVD's, use it everyday for television viewing and have had no problems with the television. The picture is the clearest I have every seen, the blacks are truly black not gray, colors are bright and picture sharp. I purchased it at Costco, 2 year warranty+ 3 year from square trade included + 2 year from Visa = 7 years. Providing I don't break the set by dropping it like the last one this television will be a great purchase.

I replaced a 6 year old 32" 1080p LCD with this beast, and it is incredible. I was worried the built-in speakers would be absolute trash based on other reviews. While they are definitely not good and I will be hooking up my shelf system ASAP and never use them again, I was pleasantly surprised. The picture is worth every penny. The bezel is so thin, it looks almost like a picture floating in front of my wall. I can finally read game menus without sitting forward and squinting.

a must buy, oled is the way of the future and the only way to watch tv once i owned this. the store doesnt show this tv as well as when you get home and see 4k movies on this. i recommend (the martian, oblivion or a marvel movie). the viewing angle is stunning and brightness is almost too bright so don't be afraid of having bright windows behind you. 1 flaw for me not for most people is no headphone jack for headphones. you can still use the optial audio out and buy an adapter for $5

This TV replaced a Panasonic Plasma that we had for several years before going out. We liked the Plasma for the true black on darker movies and this is one of the only other TV's out there that equals or surpasses the true black that our Plasma offered. When the screen is supposed to be black you can't even tell where the TV is at night. It is also crystal clear with the most detail that we could find on the market. So far we are loving the TV especially when watching 4K movies.

    Great HD Picture, Complicated Calibration

Like everyone says, the picture is a real improvement over regular LED TVs: deeper blacks, higher contrast, greater viewing angles. Calibrating the TV picture is another matter. LG doesn't supply a manual of recommended steps or static standards that can be used to tweak the picture to be its best. There are lots of opinions out there as to how to set the dozens of adjustments that can be made, but there's no way to know how different my TV is from the one the blogger calibrated.

I wanted to upgrade my 40" TV to a 55" inch TV. I was hesitant to get the OLED because of the price, especially since I could get a decent 55" TV for half the price or even less. But I couldn't resist the picture quality of the OLED models, so I spent the $1,600 and got one. I do not regret it one bit. The color really pops on these TVs compared to your typical LCD TV. The OLED technology will do much more to improve your picture quality than simply upgrading to a 4K LCD TV.

OLED is so far ahead of other LED and LCD displays it's ridiculous. Paired with 4K video with HDR, it is mindblowing. Even non-4K videos look impressive. It has perfect blacks and vivid, nuanced color representation. You can view it at practically any angle with no loss in picture quality You can't go wrong with this TV, just make sure to calibrate it properly according to your viewing area just like you should with any other display in order to maximize performance.

I have several Samsung 8000 series 4K TV's without HDR that I am very happy with but wanted to get a 4K tv with active HDR. From reviews and looking at tvs in the store, I was interested in getting a LG OLED tv except I didn't want to pay the premium price. I was able to get a 55 inch open box LG OLED tv at a significant discount and have been very happy with the purchase. The sound from the tv is very good and the picture quality is excellent, best of any of my tvs.

This OLED is true video high fidelity. Suddenly you notice lighting, depth of field, lens filters, and many other aspects of cinematography and production. 4K content is jaw- dropping, but what will truly blow you away is how well it up- converts "ordinary" High Definition and even lesser content. If you are wondering ( like I did) whether it's worth it to spring for an OLED now or wait for the technology to mature, the answer is " Go for it! ". You won't be sorry.
