Was time to replace my old plasma TV and after much research bought this LG. I really liked my old plasma, but weighed a ton, was getting old, and was about to do a major move so decided not to bring it this time. The plasma TV picture seemed more "organic" and real, but this one seems much cleaner and clearer (would being almost "too clean" be a real criticism?). Was also very easy to set up.

1. The picture is fantastic. 2. The interface is easy for me to use. I stress the word "me". I live with someone who finds most software, gadgets and smartphones challenging to use. WebOS reviews well and I hoped my cohabitant would find it easy to use. Instead I find the remote is tossed at me with the phrase, "You make it work!" For this person the interface is slippery and s/he is quite perplexed when the red cursor pops on the screen and jerks back and forth, "What button do I press to make it go away?" 3. The Logitech 650 remote, which I've had for years, could only control basic tv functions with ease. I have to dig into the submenu of the remote to control the tv's smart features. If I'm going to this great length I may as well use the LG remote as intended. And I do. I don't use my phone as a remote because I don't want its notifications to bother me. (While I could master the phone's notification software - why waste my time with such nonsense?) 4. Do I have buyer's remorse? I thought I'd worry more about screen burn in. Well, I'm not worried one bit. Where remorse sets in is desiring something simple like a Roku remote. 5. Controlling rewind and fast forward in the Amazon app requires some left/right scrolling of the cursor and a button press -- this is highly unintuitive. I'd like to reduce LG a star for this but fault may lie with Amazon. If so I'd rank this app in WebOS as two stars. I think most people will be very happy with this tv.

I had been looking at this tv for months prior to purchase, and finally scored an amazing deal on it the day after Black Friday. The picture clarity is perfect in every way. The remote took a little but to get used to (has a pointer like a mouse) but I love it. The ability to change the contrast/lighting depending on what we are watching (ie live sports or horror movie) is incredible. I love this tv!!

If you have been searching for a new tv, like I was, there's a difference to be noted between an LED, and OLED. Instead of one back light (LED), the (OLED), uses multiple lights to give better contrast,a true black vs. a grey in the LED. The colors are outstanding in the LG. A glass screen, vs. plastic. 55 inch , love it!

This thing is huge. The color is amazing and the thinness of the thing is astonishing.

This TV has a great picture. My C7 went bad so BB replaced with this one. My only complaint is BB. They delivered the TV but put the old TV in B8 box before taking out accessories. No remote or accessories. I got what I needed on my own as BB was no help. The TV is fantastic. Its amazing when there is a black picture, you can't tell the TV from the wall. All and all, a great TV.

I have never been a fan of LG until this latest series of OLED TVs but I can say they have won we over. The picture is incredible the remote is easy and fun to use and it looks great wall mounted. If you are looking to spend $ on an OLED TV this is the best deal for the money. Frame rate could be better but it isn't noticeable 99% of the time unless you're watching point break.

I purchased an LG OLED55B6P in Feb 2017. My initial review was 5 Stars. The picture was outstanding. Unfortunately today I it’s a 1 Star for two reasons. First, after 8 months I stared to notice some screen burn-in specifically related to cable news networks. LG customer service guided me through multiple attempts to rectify the issue using the “Clear Panel Noise” feature with no success. Finally in Feb 2018, while the TV was still in the 1 year warranty, LG replaced the screen at their cost and the picture was perfect again. Great service right, no wrong! Unfortunately it only lasted 3 months. The burn-in was back even with regular use of the “Clear Panel Noise” as LG instructed. The second reason for the poor rating is lack of customer service. After contacting LG regarding the return of the burn-in they informed me that I was no longer under warranty and I would have to repair the issue at my cost. LG customer service never should have replaced the screen the first time knowing it wouldn’t resolve the issue. This is a high cost electronic and without a permanent mechanical fix to the burn-in issue they should have offered an alternative resolution. An upgrade to a newer model prorated on the age of the current TV or a rebate to purchase a different LG TV. Now I’m stuck with a high priced TV with a terrible picture. I would not recommend this TV or LG for their handling of the issue.

Fantastic picture and sound easy to use. Very sleek and elegant.

This tv is simply amazing. The black levels are great and the processing power keeps the picture sharp, crisp and jutter free. Sports look fantastic and gaming is smooth. I recommend using custom settings (which can be found thru a simple google search) and give the tv at least an hour to calibrate. I find something new to love about this tv everyday.

The picture quality is incredible on the LGOLED TV and it has been easy to learn how to use it. We've had the TV for over a month and continue to comment of the quality of the image and colors! The price point blew us away! We happened to walk in on a great sale day and went ahead and added the LG sound bar and a new 4K DVD player.

Love my Oled this is the second one I have purchased. The picture is beautiful it’s The best tv I have ever owned and it always wows my friends when they come over to watch the game! Love the black levels and LG has the best tv operating system in my opinion! If you have the money to spend I can’t recommend this tv enough!

This is such a great deal on a OLED TV I found it as low as $1,000 and compared to the Samsung qled LG knocks it out of the park with OLED everything about it is better from the Inky blacks to the superb HDR support three different kinds of HDR wonderful for playing games watching sports just have to watch out with static images on OLED

The tv looks amazing just what I wanted. Slim bezel and super thin frame. First time owning an Oled and will never go back to anything less. My only gripe is the sound. The volume maxes out at 100 and I have to turn it up to 70 just to hear the dialogue in Netflix. I’m gonna have to buy a sound bar eventually. I love the magic remote, the curser is awesome. Lastly, I’m thankful for the screen saver feature. It turns on after 2 min of pausing content, therefore I don’t have to worry about burn in.

We are very happy with this TV. The picture is phenomenal. Paired with a good sound bar, we can enjoy excellent quality movies. This was fairly easy to set up. We had one glitch when we first set it up and were very fortunate that the Best Buy salesman could talk us through correcting it. Since then, absolutely no problems.

I love this TV. I will never go back to a non-OLED. The true blacks are unbelievable and the contrasts is just excellent. I know it’s not the newest in town but does everything I need superbly. The wifi occasionally cuts out which is annoying but the picture is so good I don’t care.

This is my first OLED TV and the best purchase I have ever made. The picture quality is amazing and the Dolby Vision is excellent. It’s very easy to set up and lots of picture settings to adjust according to your needs. Built in Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control comes very handy. Great buy.

I love this tv. I've had it over a year and still get excited to look at the picture quality. The pure black is really addicting. And it's got a great anti-reflective coating so it looks good when it's light outside and I don't see my reflection on the screen like my last tv. We have a surround sound system, but I sometimes just use the tv speaker and it's actually really good. I also connect to it to some bluetooth headphones when my wife is working at home. It took me a while to realize that you don't have to use the 'magic remote' as a mouse cursor. You can just use the direction dials like any other remote. It doesn't have Airplay, like I hear the newer versions do. I use an apple tv, so it's not a big deal for me. The 55" size works for my living room (about 10'x12'), but I kind of wonder if I'd like a 65" more. My wife said no, though so that's that.

My family and I LOVE this tv!!! It’s just the right size for our game room and has a crystal clear picture that can be seen pretty much from anywhere in the room. The colors are rich and vibrant. We love watching movies and sports on it.

I recently purchased a new tv and upgraded from an old tube tv that was still in working condition. The LG OLED series smart tv is my first and only smart tv so far and I must say the purchase is satisfactory for me. The picture quality of the OLED series was sold to be the best technology yet and so far it hasn’t disappointed. The tv is simple enough to transition from all tv modes (i.e. YouTube, cable, etc.). And it has a great sound quality with the built in speakers. They’re not the BEST but they are great. I also purchased a sound bar to compliment, so I’m satisfied.
