We like this TV, but not as much as we thought we would. The sound is actually not bad for such a thin TV. The picture quality is nice, but you really can't watch it during the day time if you have windows in your room. We had a TV tech help us adjust the settings, as it comes standard on power saving mode - that's really bad for picture quality. He changed it to optimal picture for us (knowing our pain of hard to see image) for maximum capabilities and it's just still not great. We had a 15 year old Sony that we got rid of for this one and that one allowed for such better contrast - day or night. Not sure I'm sold on OLED, and not sure I'd purchase this again given the choice. Great apps and it's very easy to use. LG has restrictions for partners, so I'd recommend you research that before purchasing an LG smart TV. Ie: no screen mirroring capabilities or HBO Now.

I live this TV. Great picture. Easy setup unlike other TVs I considered. Turn off energy saver to get a consistently bright picture. Great TV for the money.

As expected, the picture is beautiful and the colors are quite vibrant. However, the display feels quite fragile and I was warned to be quite careful transporting it home, as it can fracture easily.

I will never go back to LED. The image quality is superior in every way!!! People focus on the burn it problem way too much!!!! Don’t leave your tv on a static image for hours on end!! How hard is that?

This TV is perfect! The quality of the picture cannot be over hyped! Have received many compliments from friend and neighbors: "... wow! Look at that picture!"on nature and outdoor programs, it's like looking through a window. The ease of set up and configuring was also simple. From unpacking to actually watching the quality picture, was less than half an hour. One recommendation - get the Amazon Fire Stick 4k with it. The Fire Stick brings out the true and full aspects of the tv...

...but disappointed in a key “missing” feature. My old 57” plasma died and I went to my “go to store”, Best Buy, to replace it. I had three top priorities and worked with some very nice salespeople to get what I wanted - a great 4K display, a TV with a base stand that would fit my cabinet and the ability to listen to the TV speakers and bluetooth headphones simultaneously (I am hard of hearing and don’t want my wife to be forced to listen to the TV at the volume I need). Well, I got the first two. The display is great (so far) and the unit was a breeze to set up. A week later, I bought a pair of bluetooth headphones and after a couple of hours or trying to make both the headphones and speaker work at the same time (the LG site said I could listen to both on SOME models) I learned the salespeople were wrong after contacting LG support. On this set, it is one or the other. Very disappointing, and especially so with LG as I have much less expensive TV’s with the feature I need. I will return the headphones and keep the TV as it is too much trouble to return. I thought I had done my research, but it is a costly mistake.

Fantastic tv, beautiful picture and amazing contrast. The OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous. LCD just can’t compare to the contrast of OLED. Pricey, but if you can afford it, it is well worth it.

The 55" LG tv was a great purchase and I found the menu options easy to learn. The picture quality and color is outstanding. We didn't need an Amazon Fire Stick with all the options this tv provided.

I walked into my local Best Buy expecting to buy a 4K UHD TV to replace an old, failed flat screen. Once I saw the LG OLED, I knew I had to have that one! The sales person was easy to work with, and the icing on the cake was the absolute great deal that day, which I happily took advantage of. Used the Best Buy credit card which allows 2 yr interest-free payments. The TV is glorious, especially for nature/travel programs. I watch a lot of TV, so for me I could not have done any better than Best Buy. Delivery and installation went smoothly, and the tech even organized and tied-off the cable junglein back, so now it’s neat and tidy. Thank you Best Buy and Geek Squad!

I spent weeks racking my brain on this tv and finally I purchased it and man oh man it’s worth every penny. Gorgeous picture especially on the 4K content and gaming. OLED is for sure the way to go!!

We are very happy with our purchase. The color is awesome and the sound is clear. We’ve had Sony’s in the past and while they likely still make a good product, the cost is out of our range.

Needed to find the best 55 inch tv that I could put in the bedroom. This LG OLED has the clearest picture I’ve ever seen. The color / sharpness is amazing. I’m giving it a 5 star rating.

This TV looks good. Without 4k content you won't see much of a difference if you are coming from a decent 1080p screen. Colors are vibrant. There are many settings which can be confusing to a normal person even with the descriptions that LG provides.

The picture display is crisp and clear and still looks amazing with great color even in our bright sunroom. Definitely recommend this to those looking for a LED smart tv upgrade.

First I always buy my TVs and electronics from Best Buy. They're usually knowledgeable and price match. I was able to price match this TV for a great price. With the extra savings I went for the 5 year warranty. This TV is great for the money. The OLED with 4k brings a great deep visual experience. The part that surprised me is the most is the fact LG added Dolby ATMOS to the B8. Dolby ATMOS brings such a surreal sound to my living room. If pair with compatible content I don't see a need for a sound bar. I love ch+ but wish Pluto TV is available as I'm a cord cutter. Overall good build and quality. I'm please with my purchase so far.

It has a great picture as well as excellent sound quality. It’s slim and sleek design is also very important to us. The price was excellent . The remote is very easy to use.

You cannot go wrong with this T.V. I bought the extended service plan just because it was a deal that was almost to good to be true. Great picture, easy set up, great sound.

I was skeptical of 4K TV, but I knew I wanted an OLED for the color after having a CRT Sony Bravia in past. After a lot of research decided to get this one instead of a new Sony when it was on sale. Sony uses LG panels, so basically got the same thing for less. It has been great so far! The colors look amazing, the black is actually black, and even 1080P content looks great upscaled. I have not tried a lot of 4K content, but it did look great also. The interface and remote is easy to use. I don’t use the Smart TV apps since have Apple TV and Xbox, but they did work fairly well when tried them. Highly recommend it!

The LG OLED 4K Ultra HDTV is the best television on the market. It has the most crystal clear, and true to life picture that I have ever seen. The features of the television are like icing on a perfectly made cake. And when you play a PS4 Pro on it the picture quality is beyond amazing. I find myself playing old games I have just to experience them in 4K on my LG OLED. Perfect television. I have no clue how LG or anyone could top this display. I mean I know technology will advance some more and it will be topped but for now, there is none better on the market than the LG OLED 4K UHDTV. Worth every penny.

good looking with very little bezel, the picture is outstanding with super clear resolution and contrast. the remote is easy to use and the speak to search is invaluable.
